1. Attach the auger drive head to the traction unit.

2. Slide the screw anchor adaptor onto the drive
head shaft and secure it with the attachment bolt
and nut supplied with the drive head (Fig. 1).

Operating
the Screw Anchor
Adaptor
1. Insert the eye of the screw anchor into the screw
anchor adaptor and secure it with the supplied
hitch pin and hairpin cotter (Fig. 2).

2. Drive to the site where the screw anchor is to be
installed and lower the point to the ground.
3. Run the engine at low speed and place the pump
starter valve in the fast (rabbit) position.
4. Pull the auxiliary hydraulics lever rearward to
begin slowly turning the screw anchor, then
lower the loader arms until the screw anchor is
in the ground.
5. Stop the auger drive head and remove the hitch
pin and hairpin cotter which secure the screw
anchor.
6. Lift the loader arms, removing the screw anchor
from the screw anchor adaptor.
