InstallingtheRearFlange Bushings

Procedure

1.Place2blocks(2x4)undereachsideofthemower
deckandlowerthedeckdownontotheboards.

2.Removethe4hairpincottersandwashersfromthe
deckhangerliftlinksandremovethelinksfromthe
mowerdeck(Figure1).

Installtherearangebushings.

Installthefrontangebushings.

3.Removethetwonutsandboltsateachexistingange
bushing(Figure2).

4.Turnbothangebushingssothattheopenendsare
facingdownward.

5.Pulltherearpivotbardown.

6.Removebothexistingangebushings.

7.Startingontherightside,installanewangebushing
betweenthestopandtheendofthebar.

8.Rotatetheangebushingsothattheopenendisfacing
upward.

9.Slidetheassemblyintoframe.

10.Installametalgussetontotheangebushingand
looselyinstalltheexistingnutsandbolts.

11.Ontheleftside,installanewangebushingintothe
frame,sothattheopenendoftheangebushingis
facingdownward.

12.Installthepivotrodintotheopenendoftheange
bushing.
