GeneralPrecautions
Neverchargeafrozenbattery.Donotabusethecord—Nevercarrythechargerbyits
cordoryankonthepowersupplycordtodisconnectthe chargerfromthereceptacle.Keepthecordfromheat,
oil,andsharpedges. –Keepthecaseintact. –Whencarryingthecharger,alwaysbesureofyour
footing,andkeeparmholdonthehandle.Walk;never
run.Exercisecautiontoavoidslippingorfalling.
PersonalPrecautions
DANGER
Neveraltertheprovidedpowercordorplug.Ifit willnotttheoutlet,waitforaqualiedelectrician toinstallaproperoutlet.Animproperconnection cancauseanelectricshock.
Wearcompleteeyeprotectionandclothingprotection. –Immediatelywashanyskinorclothingthatbattery
packelectrolytecontactswithsoapandwater.Should
electrolytegetinyoureye,immediatelyoodtheeye
withcoldrunningwaterforatleast10minutesand
immediatelycallforemergencymedicalservice. –Donoteversmokeorpermitasparkorameneara
battery. –Takeextraprecautionstoavoiddroppingametaltoolnear
orontoabattery .Itmightcauseasparkorshort-circuit
anelectricalpartthatcouldleadtoanexplosion. –Removemetalitemssuchasrings,bracelets,necklaces,
andwatchesfromyourpersonwhenworkingwitha
lithiumionbattery.Alithiumionbatterypackcanproduce
enoughcurrenttocauseasevereburn. –UsethischargeronlyforchargingTorolithiumion
batteriesfortheeFLEXWalkingGreensmower,as
speciedintheequipment’sOperator’sManual.Do
notuseitforanyotherpurpose.

PowerConnectionPrecautions
Grounding—Thechargershouldbegroundedtoreduce
theriskofelectricshock.Theelectriccordincludedwith thischargerwillsupplyagroundwhenpluggedintoa properlywiredgroundingoutletinstalledinaccordance withalllocalcodesandordinances.
