Installation Instructions

Kit number 108-4650 contains the replacement hood latch for models 22306 – Serial Numbers 240000501 to 240000653, and 22307 – Serial Numbers 240000501 to 340000675.

Installing the Hood Latch

1. Lower the loader arms, stop the engine, and remove the key.

2. Open the hood and remove bolt, lock washer and disconnect the spring securing the latch cam to the latch bracket assembly. Discard the old latch cam.

3. Install the new latch cam in place of the old one using the fasteners removed previously (Fig. 1). Connect the latch bracket spring to the latch cam.

4. Install the latch guide to the grill assembly using a carriage bolt (5/16 x 3/4 inch) and a locknut (5/16 inch) as shown in Figure 1.

Install the hood latch.

Note: Make sure the latch guide lines up flush with the grill assembly as shown in Figure 2.

5. Close the hood and test the latch to ensure it works properly.
