Note: To comply with ANSI/OPEI B71.4–1999 Standard, top weights must be added to the following machines when a DFS Bagger is installed.

• 500 Series Z Masters with 52 inch mowers • 500 Series Liquid Cooled Z Masters with 60 inch

Installing the Weights on a 52 inch Mower

Parts needed for this step:

Top weight 2 Bolt, 1/2 x 4 inch 2 U–Bolt, 3/8 X 6 inch 1 Single weight plate 4 Lock nut, 3/8 inch 4 Washer, 3/8 inch 4 Spacer

Procedure

Note: Remove or discard the bolt included with the DFS Bagger to install the top weights. This bolt is too short for installing 3 top weights.

3. Single weight plate

4. Lock nut, 3/8 inch

6. Top weight

3. Raise the foot pan and then remove the footrest from

the machine (Fig. 2).

Note: There are 2 top weights included with the DFS Bagger and ensure they are used on the machine.

1. Place the top weights on top of the front caster weights

(Fig. 1).

2. Secure the top weights with a bolt (1/2 x 4 inch)

(Fig. 1).
