Turf Specialty QuickVac Bagger Rework Kit
For Use with the Crossover Tailpipe Kit
Installation Instructions
Use this kit to modify the frame of a Turf Specialty QuickVac Bagger to fit around the crossover tailpipe.
Loose Parts
Description Qty. Use
Bagger support bracket Bolt, 5/16 x 1 in. Locknut, 5/16 in. Flange nut, 5/16 in.
Caution
If the engine has been recently running, the muffler and tailpipe will be hot and could burn you.
Wait for all parts to cool before starting this procedure.
Installing the Bagger Support Bracket
1. Cut the right side of the bagger frame just in front of the
vertical brace. The cut must angle back at a 45 degree angle (Fig. 1).

Connect the bagger to the machine.
2. Remove and discard the bolt, nut, and frame piece in
front of the cut (Fig. 1).
3. Attach the bagger support bracket to the holes on the
bottom of the machine frame using 2 bolts (5/16 x 1 in.) and locknuts (5/16 in.) (Fig. 2).
Note: You may need to drill the holes in the machine frame. Refer to the Crossover Tailpipe Kit for instructions on drilling the holes and a template for locating their positions.
Note: You do not need the right side muffler guard that is supplied with the Crossover Tailpipe Kit with this kit installed. Retain and install it if you remove the bagger.

4. Drill 2 holes (11/32 in. dia.) though the right vertical
brace of the bagger frame using the holes in the support bracket as a template (Fig. 3).

5. Secure the support bracket to the brace with 2 bolts
(5/16 x 1 in.) and flange nuts (5/16 in.) (Fig. 3).
Modifying the Tailpipe Guard
Before installing the left tailpipe guard, cut a section of rod out of the guard as illustrated in Figure 4.
