Removing the Old Pin
1. Swing the blade into the upright position (or remove
it) and remove the plow from the traction unit.
2. Block up the mount plate so that it will not be able to
fall when you remove the pin.
3. Remove the bolt and washer securing the pin (Fig. 1).

4. Using a hammer and punch from the bottom, remove
the old pin.
5. Clean all grease from the hole where the pin was.

Installing the New Pin
1. Insert the new pin into the opening and push it all the
way down.

7. Grease fitting
2. Secure the pin from the bottom using the washer and
bolt removed previously (Fig. 2).
3. Torque the bolt to 27 to 33 ft.-lb. (37 to 44 N⋅m).
4. Place the hub over the top of the pin so the taper in the
hub seats on the taper of the pin (Fig. 2).
5. Secure the pin from the top using the washer and bolt
supplied with the kit (Fig. 2).
6. Torque the bolt to 27 to 33 ft.-lb. (37 to 44 N⋅m).
7. Connect a grease gun loaded with all-purpose grease to
the fitting on the pin channel (Fig. 2).
8. Pump grease into the channel until it starts to ooze out
from the joints.
