Installation Instructions
Installing the Blade
1. Raise the plow about 3 feet (1 m) off of the ground.
2. Stop the engine and remove the key.
3. Remove the two click pins from the clevis pins in the
blade bracket, then remove the clevis pins (Fig. 1).
4. Slide the blade into the blade bracket and secure it at
the desired depth (a change in mounting holes will
change the depth by 3 in. (7.6 cm)), using the clevis
pins and click pins removed previously (Fig. 1).

Installing Cable
1. Remove the large wingnut and bolt from the top of the
blade (Fig. 2).
2. Pull the cable guide out of the blade (Fig. 2).
3. Place the cable to be installed in the chute (Fig. 2).
4. Install the cable guide and secure it with the wingnut
and bolt (Fig. 2).

5. Secure the end of the cable coming out of the bottom
of the blade to a post or have someone hold it.
6. Begin plowing while routing the cable over the plow
and into the blade (Fig. 3).

7. When finished, remove the plow from the soil and
remove the cable from the blade.
Cleaning the Blade
After each use, clean the blade as follows:
1. Remove the large wingnut and bolt from the top of the
blade (Fig. 2).
2. Pull the cable guide out of the blade (Fig. 2).
3. Wash out the inside of the chute with water to remove
any dirt.
4. Wash the rest of the blade.
5. Install the cable guide and secure it with the wingnut
and bolt (Fig. 2).
