Installation Instructions
1. Position the machine on a level surface. Set the
parking brake, turn the ignition off, and remove the
key.
Caution
If you leave the key in the ignition switch,
someone could accidently start the engine and
seriously injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition switch before
you do any maintenance.
2. Using Figure 1 as a guide, assemble the front boards
and side boards together with the screws (1/4 x
1-1/2 in.) and washers. Torque the screws to
90–110 in.-lb. (10–12 N⋅m).
Note: The holes in the horizontal board in the front
assembly are spaced further apart than the holes in the
horizontal boards in the side assembly.
3. For a tighter fit against the box, attach the shims to the
assemblies with the short screws (1/4 x 3/4 in.)
(Fig. 1). Tighten the screws, being careful not to
over-tighten them.
4. Slide the front assembly into the slots at the front of
the cargo bed and the side assemblies into the slots at
the sides of the cargo bed (Fig. 1).
