AlongPTOshaftissuppliedwiththemachineto accommodatetractionunitswithlargerPTOshaft variations.Formosttractionunits,thisshaftistoo longandmustbecuttothecorrectlength,ordamage mayresult.
1.Measurethedistancefromthelockgrooveof thetractionunitPTOshafttothelockgrooveof themachineimpellerinputshaft.

2.FullycollapsethePTOshaftandmeasurethe distancebetweenthelockpincollars.

3.Whenattachedtothemachine,the2halvesof thePTOshaftmusthaveatleast37mm(1-1/2 inches)ofadditionalclearancetocollapseatits shortestlength(Figure2).
