PreparingtheMachine

NoPartsRequired

Procedure

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandengage
theparkingbrake.

2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey ,andwait
fortheenginetocool.

3.Raiseandsupportthetractionunit.

4.Removethe4lugnutssecuringbothwheelsto
thetractionunit(Figure1).

Important:Ensurethatallliftingequipmentis

ingoodconditionandhasasafeandadequate
capacity.Alwaysseekassistancewhenlifting
awkwardorheavyloads.

Important:Torqueallfastenerstothespecied

torquesettings.Thepartsbeingttedmustnotbe
drilled,cutoralteredinanyway.

1.Install8bolts(3/8x1inch),curvedwashers,
andangenutstosecuretherotarycuttingdeck
tothepowerunitasshowninFigure3.

Important:Ensurethattheenginedeckis

paralleltothemowerdeck+/-0.5degrees
beforetighteningthexingbolts.
