Tornado Industries, LLC. (Tornado) warrants to the end/user customer that the Tornado product(s) will
be free from defects in material and workmanship for the duration(s) described below. This limited
warranty DOES NOT cover machines and/or components subject to normal wear and tear, damage
that occurs in shipping, failures resulting from modication, accident, unsuitable operating environ­ment, misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance by you. For full details, contact your Autho­rized Tornado Distributor, Service Center, or the Tornado Technical Service Department. Tornado
sales and service representatives are not authorized to waive or alter the terms of this warranty, or to
increase the obligations of Tornado under the warranty.

1. Except all Windshears™ Blowers, Storm, TV 2, Side and Downdraft, Insulation Blowers, CV 30,
CV 38, CK14/1 PRO, CK 14/2 PRO, SWM 31/9, CK LW13/1, CV 38/48 Dual, PV6, PV10, and all
chargers are warranted for 1 (one) year for both parts and labor.

2. All non-wear item parts purchased after warranty expiration are warranted for 90 days.

3. Warranty starts from the date of sale to the consumer or, at Tornado’s discretion, 6 months after

the dealer purchased the unit from Tornado, whichever comes rst.

4. The EB 30 is warranted for a period of 90 days for both parts and labor.

5. The warranty on engines used on propane powered equipment is limited to motor manufacturer’s
warranty.

6. Ride-on Scrubbers are warranted for 24 months, parts, 6 months labor or 1,000 hours, whichever

occurs rst.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of
least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk electric shock. This machine is equipped with a
cord having an equipment -grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into
an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.

WARNING: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric

shock. Check with a qualied electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet
is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance - if it will not t the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a qualied electrician.

Product information

The Multiwash oor cleaning machines are designed for use on smooth,
even oors in indoor areas. They can be used on most oor surfaces

including short-pile carpet, wood, PVC, rubber and stone. They should
not be used on rough uneven surfaces. This machine is for indoor use
only. The machine is intended for commercial use, for example in hotels,

schools, hospitals, factories, shops, ofces, rental businesses and other

than normal housekeeping purposes.

1. This machine must only be used for the manufacturer’s approved applica­tion as described in this manual.

2. Operators must be fully trained in the use of the machine in accordance
with these instructions, able to perform regular user maintenance and the
correct selection of accessories.

3. Only genuine accessories and spare parts provided with the machine or
those approved by the manufacturer should be used. All repairs must be

performed by a qualied service agent.

4. Do not use without lters in place.

5. Do not modify the machine from its original design.

6. This machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concern­ing use of the machine by a person responsible for their safety.

7. Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the machine when in
use. Do not use as a toy.

8. The machine must be kept clean and in good condition with regular
inspections of the battery charging lead and plug for signs of any damage. If
any parts are damaged they shall only be replaced by an approved part by

the manufacturer, its service agent or a similar qualied person in order to

avoid a hazard.

9. CAUTION - This machine is for dry indoor use only and should not be
used or stored outdoors in wet conditions.
10 DO NOT use where hazardous dust is present.

11. DO NOT use in an explosive atmosphere.

12. DO NOT pick up or use near ammable or combustible uids, hazardous
dusts or vapours.

13. DO NOT use to clean up any burning or lighted materials such as ciga­rettes, matches, ashes or other combustible objects.

14. Take care when using a machine near the top of stairs to avoid overbal­ancing.

15. DO NOT put any object into openings. DO NOT use with any opening

blocked; keep free of dust, debris and anything that may reduce airow.

16. Keep hair, loose clothing, hands, feet and all other parts of the body away
from openings and moving parts.

17. Do not operate the machine when connected to the mains electrical sup­ply.

18. WARNING Unless you are charging the machine; always remove the
plug from the socket outlet.

19. Do not charge the machine with a damaged battery charging lead or
plug, or after the machine malfunctions or is damaged in any way. Contact
an authorised Service Agent for repair or adjustment.

20. This machine should always be connected to a fully earthed power sup­ply of the right voltage and frequency.

21. DO NOT leave machine running unattended.

22. When unplugging, pull the plug, not the charger supply cord.

23. Unless charging, the plug of the charger supply cord must be removed
from the socket-outlet when not in use and before commencing cleaning of
the machine or undertaking maintenance operations.

24. DO NOT pull or carry by the charger supply cord. DO NOT use cord as

a handle, close door on cord or pull cord around sharp edges or corners.

25. WARNING: Keep the charger supply cord clear of moving parts.

26. DO NOT kink or twist the charger supply cord and keep cord away from
heated surfaces.

27. DO NOT operate switches or touch the mains plug with wet hands as
this may cause electric shock.

Safe Disposal of Batteries

The batteries must be neutralised through an approved secondary treat­ment facility prior to disposal as waste. The battery can be recycled at an
authorised facility, through a licensed waste carrier.

Transporting the machine

Incorrect lifting techniques may result in personal injury. We advise that the
manual handling regulations are followed. Carefully wrap the charger supply
cord and store in dry indoor location. Do not expose the machine to rain or
moisture.

After sales service

Tornado machines are high quality machines that have been tested for
safety by authorised technicians. It is always apparent that after longer
working periods, electrical and mechanical components will show signs of
wear and tear or ageing. To maintain operational safety and reliability the

following service interval has been dened: Every year or after 250 hours.
Under extreme or specialised conditions and/or insufcient maintenance,

shorter maintenance intervals are necessary. Use only original Tornado
spare parts. Use of other spare parts will invalidate all warranty and liability
claims. Should you require after sales service please contact the supplier
from whom you purchased the machine, who will arrange service. Repairs
and servicing of Tornado products should only be performed by trained staff.
Improper repairs can cause considerable danger to the user.

intervention d’entretien ou de réparation.

24. Ne tirer pas et ne transporter pas l’appareil par le cordon d’alimentation.
N’utilisez pas le cordon comme poignée, ne coincez pas le cordon lorsque
vous fermez une porte, ne frottez pas le cordon sur des angles de murs ou
des arrêtes vives.

25. ATTENTION : Tenir le câble d’alimentation éloigné des pièces mobiles.

26. NE PAS tordre ou vriller le câble et le tenir éloigné de toute source de
chaleur.

27. NE PAS manoeuvrer les commutateurs et ne pas toucher la prise élec­trique avec des mains mouillées car ceci peut provoquer une électrocution.

Recyclage sécurisé des batteries :

Les batteries doivent être neutralisées par l’intermédiaire d’une entreprise

qualiée avant d’être envoyées vers un site de stockage des déchets

Les batteries doivent être transportées et recyclées par des entreprises

qualiées et spécialisées dans le traitement des batteries usagées.

Transporter la machine

Une technique de transport incorrecte peut générer des blessures mus­culaires. Nous conseillons de suivre les consignes de ce manuel. Ranger
correctement le cordon d’alimentation du chargeur et stocker l’appareil dans
un endroit sec. Ne pas exposer l’appareil à la pluie ou à l’humidité. Lever
l’appareil par la poignée prévue à cet effet.

Royaume Uni uniquement

Le cordon d’alimentation est équipé d’une prise non démontable contenant
un fusible de 13 ampères. Si vous aviez besoin de remplacer ce fusible,
vous ne pourriez le faire qu’à l’aide d’un fusible de 13 ampères conforme
à la norme BS1362, et le couvercle du fusible devrait être réinstallé. Si le
couvercle du fusible a été égaré, ne pas utiliser la prise avant d’avoir installé
un couvercle de rechange correct.

Service Après Vente

Cet appareil est de haute qualité, testé en matière de sécurité par des
techniciens agréés. Il est logique qu’après une longue période d’utilisation,
les pièces électriques et mécaniques montrent des signes d’usure ou de

faiblesse. An de garantir une sécurité totale d’utilisation, les fréquences de
remplacement suivantes ont été dénies : 1 fois par an ou toutes les 250
heures de travail. En cas de conditions extrêmes ou spéciques d’utilisation
et/ou de fréquences d’entretien insufsantes, des intervalles plus courts

sont nécessaires. N’utiliser que des pièces d’origine. L’utilisation de pièces
non agréées entraîne l’invalidation des conditions de garantie et la respon­sabilité du fabricant. En cas de besoin d’intervention, prenez contact avec
votre revendeur qui prendra les mesures adaptées. Réparation et main­tenance doivent être effectuées par un agent agréé par le fabricant. Toute
réparation incorrecte peut devenir dangereuse pour l’utilisateur.

oder Verletzung zu mindern.

1. Das Gerät darf nur für den vom Hersteller vorgesehenen Verwendungsz­weck, wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben, verwendet werden.

2. Die Benutzer des Gerätes müssen für den Betrieb ordnungsgemäß
gemäß dieser Bedienungsanleitung geschult worden sein, sie müssen
die Benutzerwartung ausführen können und in der Lage sein, das richtige
Zubehör auszuwählen.

3. Es dürfen nur Originalzubehör- und Ersatzteile verwendet werden, die mit
dem Gerät geliefert oder vom Hersteller empfohlen wurden. Alle weiteren
Instandhaltungs- und Reparaturmaßnahmen sollten nur von einem autorisi­erten Wartungstechniker durchgeführt werden.

4. Nicht ohne montierten Staubbeutel und/oder Filter verwenden.

5. Den Staubsauger nicht verändern.

6. Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich
Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu
werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige
Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu
benutzen ist.

7. Kinder und unberechtigte Person beim Betrieb vom Staubsaugerfern­halten. Verwendung als Spielzeug niemals erlauben.

8. Halten Sie die Maschine sauber und in einem ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb­szustand. Das Stromkabel muss regelmäßig auf Schäden überprüft werden.
Wenn das Stromkabel beschädigt ist, darf es nur vom Hersteller, einem
autorisierten Fachhändler oder einer ähnlich qualizierten Person ausge­tauscht werden, um Unfallgefahren zu vermeiden.

9. HINWEIS - Diese Maschine ist nur für die Verwendung in trockenen
Innenräumen vorgesehen und darf nicht im Freien bei feuchtem Wetter
verwendet oder gelagert werden.

10. Verwenden Sie das Gerät NICHT in Räumen mit gefährlichem Staub.

11. Verwenden Sie das Gerät NICHT in explosionsfähigen Atmosphären.

12. Starten oder verwenden Sie das Gerät NICHT in der Nähe entzündlicher
Flüssigkeiten, Stäube oder Dämpfe.

13. Verwenden Sie das Gerät NICHT, um damit brennende oder glimmende
Materialien wie Zigaretten, Streichhölzer, Asche oder andere entzündliche
Gegenstände aufzunehmen.

14. Das Gerät sollte an oberen Treppenabsätzen mit Vorsicht verwendet
werden, um ein Umkippen und Herunterfallen desselben zu vermeiden

15. Stecken Sie KEINE Gegenstände in die Öffnungen des Geräts. Ver­wenden Sie das Gerät NICHT, wenn Öffnungen versperrt sind. Entfernen
Sie Staub, Unrat und alles, was zu einer Beeinträchtigung des Luftstroms
führen könnte.

17. Ziehen Sie IMMER den Schlüssel aus dem Schalter ab, wenn das Gerät
nicht benutzt wird.

18. Keine brennenden oder rauchenden Dinge, wie Zigaretten, Streichhöl­zer, heisse Asche oder brennbare Gegenstände aufsaugen.

19. Laden Sie die Maschine NICHT, wenn das Ladekabel oder der Stecker
beschädigt sind oder wenn die Maschine technische Fehler oder Beschädi­gungen aufweist. Wenden Sie sich zur Reparatur oder Justierung an einen
autorisierten Wartungstechniker.

20. Die Maschine sollte immer mit einem ordnungsgemäß geerdeten Stro­manschluss mit der richtigen Spannung und Frequenz verbunden werden.

21. Lassen Sie das Gerät NICHT unbeaufsichtigt laufen

22. Ziehen Sie beim Abziehen des Steckers immer am Stecker, nicht am
Kabel.

23. Unless charging, Bevor die Maschine gereinigt oder gewartet wird, muss
der Stecker des Stromkabels aus der Steckdose gezogen werden.

24. Ziehen oder tragen Sie das Gerät NICHT am Kabel. Verwenden Sie
das Kabel NICHT als Griff. Klemmen Sie das Kabel nicht in Türen ein und
ziehen Sie es nicht über scharfe Kanten oder Ecken.

25. ACHTUNG - Halten Sie das Stromkabel von sich bewegenden Teilen
fern.

26. Knicken und verdrehen Sie das Kabel NICHT und halten Sie das
Stromkabel von heißen Flächen fern.

27. Betätigen Sie die Schalter und berühren Sie den Netzstecker NICHT
mit nassen Händen, da Sie dabei einen elektrischen Schlag bekommen
können.

Safe Disposal of Batteries

The batteries must be neutralised through an approved secondary treatment
facility prior to disposal as waste.
The battery can be recycled at an authorised facility, through a licensed
waste carrier.

Arbeitseinsätzen Abnutzungs- und Alterungserscheinungen aufweisen.
Damit die Betriebssicherheit und die Verlässlichkeit immer gegeben ist,
wurde folgendes Wartungsintervall festgelegt: Jährlich oder nach 250
Betriebsstunden. Unter extremen oder besonderen Bedingungen oder bei
unzulänglicher Wartung sind kürzere Wartungsintervalle notwendig. Verwen­den Sie nur Originalersatzteile von Tornado. Bei der Verwendung anderer
Ersatzteile verfallen alle Gewährleistungs- und Haftungsansprüche. Wenn
Sie den Kundendienst in Anspruch nehmen möchten, wenden Sie sich an
den Fachhändler, bei dem Sie die Maschine erworben haben. Reparatur­und Wartungsarbeiten an Tornado-Produkten dürfen nur durch ausgebilde­tes Personal erfolgen. Unsachgemäße Reparaturarbeiten können beträchtli­che Gefahren für die Benutzer mit sich bringen.

Transport der Maschine

Der Versuch, die Maschine ohne zusätzliche Hilfe anzuheben, kann zu
erheblichen Verletzungen führen.. Wir empfehlen, dass Sie die Umgang­sregelungen des Handbuchs befolgen. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel. Lagern
Sie die Maschine nur in einem trockenen Innenraum. Die Maschine nicht
Regen und Feutigkeit aussetzen.

Nur für Großbritannien

Das Stromkabel für Modelle, die mit 230 V betrieben werden, ist mit einem
Stecker ausgestattet, der eine 13-Ampere-Sicherung enthält. Wenn die
Sicherung ausgewechselt werden muss, darf sie nur durch eine 13-Ampere­Sicherung ersetzt werden, die BS1362 entspricht. Die Sicherungsabdeck­ung muss wieder angebracht werden. Wenn die Sicherungsabdeckung
verloren gegangen ist, darf der Stecker erst dann verwendet werden, wenn
eine ordnungsgemäße Ersatzabdeckung angebracht wurde.
