Adjustment of the air spring pressure, either up or down, is recommended to obtain

the best handling and ride quality. Air pressure will vary depending on our

particular application. On some applications, after lowering your airbag pressure, a

small gap may remain between the overload spring and the stable load. This is

acceptable. It is not necessary for the stable load to be in continuous contact with

the overload.

To adjust the gap between the overload spring and the stable load the stableload can

either be modified by cutting up to 5/8” of material of the bottom or the stableload

can be spaced down 1-1/4” using Torklift stableload spacer, part number A7201.

Our Stable loads are intended to be used with the factory overload spring

suspension and not intended to be used with aftermarket springs and

overloads.

Ford and Dodge vehicles that have a curved bottom overload perch need to use the

3-point contact washer. Install the 3-point contact washer on the top of the Stable

Load.
