INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

Turn the power off at the circuit breaker before installing the receptacle.

Read and understand these instructions before installing. This device is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electric Code and local regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician performs this installation. Make sure to turn off the circuit breaker or fuse(s) and make sure power is off before wiring the device.

Use copper wire only.

Quick Charge 3.0 Dual USB Charger with Type-A/ Type-C Ports, 15A Tamper Resistant Receptacle and Interchangeable Face Cover

DESCRIPTION

The Qualcomm certified charging ports of the TU1152QCAC3 feature Quick Charge 3.0 technology that that employs Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage (INOV) to optimize power transfer and maximize charging capability. The two USB ports allow simultaneous charging of any USB-A and USB-C devices. The reversible Type-C port allows connection of a Type-C cable in any orientation.

This USB receptacle CANNOT be used if the outlet you are replacing has the top and bottom outlets controlled by separate circuit breakers.

WIRING DIRECTIONS

Insert wires into the terminal holes on the back, then tighten the terminal screws.

Connect the BLACK wire to the HOT terminal (brass screw).

•

Connect the WHITE wire to the NEUTRAL terminal (silver screw).

•

Connect the GREEN or BARE wire to the GROUND terminal (green screw).

To replace the face cover, use a flat screwdriver to pry off the interchangeable cover.
