Be careful when using the knife blade. Use extreme caution when opening and closing your ALiEN series tool.
Using Locking Device on A section
The locking device is used both to lock tools in place for use and to keep tools from deploying when stored. For additional safety, the locking device is used for knife blade storage.

WARNING
Locking Device
The A section contains a very sharp knife blade. Be careful when using the knife blade. Make sure the knife blade is locked securely in the open position when used. Failure to lock knife blade during use can result in serious injury. Be careful when storing knife blade. Make sure all fingers are clear of blade path. Be sure knife blade is locked closed during storage to prevent accidental deployment.
Using the 5mm and 8mm Allen K eys
These two tools are combined. Slide down the 8mm Allen head to use the 5mm Allen key. Slide up to use the 8mm Allen key.

DX Tool is equipped with a mini pedal wrench for emergency use.
Remove mini pedal wrench from B section
Insert 8mm Allen key into 8mm hex on mini pedal wrench. Unfold tools as shown for additional leverage.
The mini pedal wrench is for emergency use only. The mini pedal wrench's strength is limited.

Never attempt to remove securely attached pedals from crank using the mini pedal wrench.
Prepare to Ride
Using Chain Tool
Install new chain pin or remove old chain pin.
Primary Chain
Link Fence
Use Primary Chain Link Fence to install or remove chain pin. Use Secondary Chain Link Fence to loosen stiff links.

Using Chain Tool on
• The A section serves as the handle for the chain tool.
• The chain tool is inserted into the 8mm box wrench located on the A section.
A section B section
• The chain tool may be inserted at different angles to the box wrench for better chain access.
• The section is used to operate the chain tool.

A and B sections.
To access tire lever on the A section, unfold all tools,
except knife blade, to their open and locked position.

Tool maintenance
The folding resistance of the A section and the B section can be adjusted by using the 4mm Allen key, screwdriver, or #1 philips.
