1. Introduction

Important environmental information about this product
This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could
harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should
be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your distributor or
to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
Make sure the device and its power cord are not damaged before every use. Never use a damaged
machine.
Never use the device when under the influence of alcohol, drugs or narcotics.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Keep children away from the device. Never leave the unattended near the device as they can play with it.
Install the device on a stable surface.
Do not use the device near flammable materials, liquids and gases.
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
Never touch the device with wet hands.
The risk of an electroshock increases if the device comes in contact with water.
Do not insert pointy objects into openings the of the device.
Never pull the power cord to disconnect the device from the mains or to move it. Make sure the power cord
does not get stuck behind other devices so they tip over. Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against
damage.
Never leave a switched-on device unattended. Switch off the device after each use. Always disconnect the
device from the mains after each use.
Do not use the device to pump sea water, dirty water, water with solids, sand, abrasive or corrosive
substances.
Do not pump liquids with a temperature higher than 90 °C.
Do not pump explosive, flammable or other dangerous liquids.
Drain and rinse the device with clear water if the device will not be used for a long period.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damage or injury resulting from (incorrect)
use of this device.
Follow all safety instructions when repairing or maintaining the device. This device may only be repaired by
a qualified technician.
Always check the device for damage after unpacking the device. Please contact your dealer if you notice
damage on the device.
Never dispose of the packing material but store it carefully. Use the packing material to store the device
when stocking or returning a damaged device to your dealer.
CAUTION: Keep your packing material carefully stocked or dispose of according to the local environmental
rules. Plastic bags and other packing materials can be dangerous for children and animals.

5. Installation
Place the pump in a safe, dry and well-ventilated place. Install the pump on a flat and stable surface.
Bleed the system before switching on the device.
o Loosen the bleeding valve.
o Fill the pump casing and suction hose with diesel until the bleeding valve runs over.
o Carefully tighten the bleeding valve.
Always check the airtightness of the pump and suction hose. The device will not be able to pump up diesel
if there are air bubbles in the system. It is therefore important to bleed the device before using it.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Always disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning.
Never clean the device with water, but use a damp cloth instead.
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to clean the device.
Use a soft brush to remove the dust from the ventilation openings.

1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf
terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt
brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.
Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffend de verwijdering.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Controleer voor elk gebruik het toestel en het elektriciteitssnoer op mogelijke beschadigingen. Gebruik
nooit een beschadigd toestel.
Gebruik het toestel niet wanneer u moe of onder invloed bent van alcohol, drugs of medicijnen.
Personen met fysieke, zintuigelijke en/of mentale beperkingen mogen het toestel niet gebruiken. Personen
die de instructies in deze handleiding niet begrijpen of kunnen volgen, mogen het toestel niet gebruiken.
Houd kinderen uit de buurt van het toestel. Laat hen niet alleen achter bij het toestel. De mogelijkheid
bestaat dat ze met het toestel spelen.
Plaats het toestel op een stabiele ondergrond.
Gebruik het toestel niet in de buurt van ontvlambare materialen, vloeistoffen en gassen.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om te reinigen, noch om welke
reden ook.
Raak het toestel nooit aan met natte handen.
Het binnendringen van water in het toestel verhoogt de kans op een elektrische schok.
Steek geen vreemde voorwerpen in de openingen van het toestel.
Trek nooit aan het snoer om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken of om het toestel te verplaatsen.
Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan haken en daar de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het
snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
Laat het toestel nooit onbewaakt achter terwijl het in werking is. Schakel het toestel steeds uit. Wanneer u
het toestel niet meer gebruikt, moet u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken.
Pomp geen zeewater, vuil water, water met solide lichamen in suspensie, zand, schurende of corrosieve
substanties in het algemeen op.
Pomp geen vloeistoffen op met een temperatuur hoger dan 90 °C.
Pomp geen explosieve, ontvlambare en andere gevaarlijke vloeistoffen op.
Indien de pomp voor een langere tijd niet gebruikt wordt, dient u de vloeistof uit de pomp te laten en de
pomp te spoelen met water.
De producent heeft geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid wanneer het apparaat verkeerd gebruikt wordt of
wanneer de veiligheidsinstructies niet worden nagevolgd.
Bij de reparatie van elektrische toestellen moeten alle veiligheidsaspecten in acht genomen worden.
Reparaties mogen derhalve slechts door erkende vakmensen uitgevoerd worden.
Bij het uitpakken, dient u het toestel te controleren op transportschade en volledigheid. Indien u schade
opmerkt aan het toestel moet u contact opnemen met uw verdeler.
Gooi de verpakkingsdoos niet weg, maar bewaar deze zorgvuldig. U kan deze gebruiken om het toestel in
te bewaren wanneer u het voor langere tijd niet gebruikt of om terug te sturen naar de verdeler bij
schade/reparatie.
LET OP: Het verpakkingsmateriaal moet u zorgvuldig bewaren of bij het afval doen. Plastic zakken en
andere verpakkingsmaterialen kunnen levensgevaarlijk speelgoed zijn voor kinderen en huisdieren.
