1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

Always wear safety glasses.

Always wear a safety masque against dust.

Always wear ear protection when the sound level noise exceed 85dB(A).

When using the machine, always observe the enclosed safety instructions as well as the additional safety instructions. The following symbols are used throughout this manual.

• Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.

• Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.

• Keep children away.

• Do not let children play with the machine.

• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in moving parts. Wear protective

hair covering to contain long hair.

• Use safety glasses, a dust mask and protection gloves. Also use ear protection if the noise level exceeds 85 dB(A).

• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

• Check for damaged parts. Never use a damaged machine. Damaged parts must be properly repaired or

replaced by an authorized service center.

• Avoid unintentional starting. Always disconnect tools when they are not in use. Also before servicing, changing accessories, …

• Always use a suitable cable according to the specifications of this machine.

• Always keep the area of the power supply socket free when operating the machine. You must always be

able to disconnect the machine immediately when necessary.

• Never unplug the machine by pulling the cable.

• Never unplug the supply cord when the machine is operating.

• Do not force the machine. It will do a better job and operate more safely at the rate for which it was

intended.

• Maintain tools with care. Keep tools clean for better and safer performance.

• Consider work area environment. Do not use electric tools in damp or wet locations. Keep work area well lit.

Do not use electric tools near flammable liquids or gases.

• Do not use the appliance near children of animals.

• Do not point the appliance on people, animals or electric appliances.

• Always check if the appliance has been designed for the work surface.

• Always unplug the appliance when it needs to be refilled.

• Only use clean water.

• Do not use cleaning products, chemicals or inflammable liquids. It will damage the appliance.

• Do not submerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

• Do not use the appliance without the water tank cap.

• Avoid contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

• Let the appliance cool down after use.

• Connect the hose to the machine

• Attach it very firmly.

• Connect the steam plate with the hose.

• Attach it very firmly.

4. Filling the water tank

• Switch off and unplug the appliance before starting to refill the water tank.

• Remove the water tank knob.

• Fill the water tank with a maximum of 4,5L water. Use warm water if you want to shorten the starting time.

• Replace the water tank knob.

• Connect the power supply cord with the appliance.

• Plug in the appliance and switch it on.

• It will take around 10 minutes to warm the water.

• You can start working when steam (without pressure) comes out the steam plate.

• Always wait 2 minutes before unplugging the appliance after use or when you would like to refill the water

tank.

• A safety valve allows steam to escape when the hose is blocked.

6. Operation

Switch off and unplug the appliance before starting to refill the appliance. Always wait 2 minutes before unplugging the appliance after use or when you would like to refill the water tank.

1. Place the steam plate directly onto the wallpaper for at least 10-20 seconds.

2. Move the steam plate to another section and remove the wall paper.

3. If it is difficult to remove the wallpaper you can repeat it. For some types of wallpaper you can cut in

slightly the paper. This will allow the steam to get better underneath the top layer of the paper.

4. Do not keep the steam plate on the same position for a longer period.

5. Avoid the water in the water tank to evaporate completely. You can use the appliance for around 50

minutes when the water tank is filled with 3L of water. Check regularly the water level of the water tank.

6. If the water is missing in the water tank, an automatic mechanism will interrupts the power supply. It will restore the power supply after filling up.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

The machine does not require any special maintenance.

• After every use clean out the water tank to avoid lime scale.

• Do not use detergents, acids or flammables products to clean the appliance.

• Always unplug the appliance and wait till it is cooled down before cleaning.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

Draag altijd een veiligheidsbril.

Volg bij gebruik van de machine altijd de bijgeleverde veiligheidsvoorschriften en onderstaande aanvullende veiligheidsvoorschriften nauwkeurig op.

• Controleer of de op het typeplaatje van de machine vermelde spanning overeenkomt met de ter plaatse beschikbare netspanning.

• Houd het werkgebied op orde. Een wanordelijke werkomgeving leidt tot ongelukken.

• Houd kinderen uit de buurt. Kinderen en personen die onder invloed zijn van medicijnen of alcohol, mogen

de machine niet gebruiken.

• Let op dat kinderen niet de gelegenheid hebben om met de machine te spelen.

• Gebruik geschikte werkkleding. Draag geen slobberende kleding of sierraden. Deze kunnen door bewegende

onderdelen gegrepen worden. Draag bij lang haar een haarnet.

• Gebruik een veiligheidsbril, een stofmasker, gehoorbescherming en beschermende handschoenen. Het wordt ook aanbevolen om gehoorbescherming te dragen.

• Zorg voor een veilige houding. Vermijd een abnormale lichaamshouding en zorg voor een stabiel evenwicht.

• Gebruik steeds uw verstand bij het hanteren van gereedschap. Zorg voor een goede concentratie.

• Controleer de machine op beschadigingen voor elk gebruik. Gebruik nooit een beschadigde machine.

Herstellingen mogen alleen uitgevoerd worden door vakkundige technici.

• Voorkom per ongeluk inschakelen van de machine. Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer u de machine niet gebruikt. Ook bij o.a. het vervangen van het boren, onderhoud, enz. dient u de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken.

• Gebruik altijd een voor dit doel goedgekeurd verlengsnoer.

• Tijdens het gebruik van de machine moet het stopcontact altijd bereikbaar zijn om de stekker er snel uit te

kunnen trekken.

• Trek nooit aan het snoer om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken.

• Trek de stekker niet uit het stopcontact wanneer de machine nog in werking is.

• Overbelast de machine niet. Elektrisch gereedschap werkt beter en veiliger binnen het aangegeven

vermogensbereik.

• Onderhoud het gereedschap zorgvuldig. Houd het gereedschap schoon en in goede staat om beter en veiliger te kunnen werken.

• Houd rekening met omgevingsinvloeden. Laat elektrisch gereedschap niet in de regen liggen. Gebruik elektrisch gereedschap niet in een vochtige of natte omgeving. Zorg voor een goede verlichting. Gebruik elektrische gereedschappen niet in de buurt van brandbare vloeistoffen of gassen.

• Behangafstomers mogen niet worden gebruikt in het bijzijn van kinderen of ongetrainde personen.

• Laat het toestel niet zonder toezicht wanneer het is ingeschakeld.

• Gebruik alleen schoon water bij het vullen van het apparaat.

• Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddelen, zuren of ontvlambare vloeistoffen in het apparaat.

• Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder de vuldop.

• Vermijd aanraking van de hete onderdelen van het apparaat.

• Laat het apparaat afkoelen na gebruik.

3. Montage

Slang

• Bevestig het uiteinde van de slang aan de aansluiting van de watertank.

• Draai de koppelmoer stevig vast.

Stoomplaat

• Bevestig de stoomplaat met de aansluiting aan het andere uiteinde van de slang.

• Draai de koppelmoer stevig vast.

4. Watertank vullen

• Schakel het toestel uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact alvorens de watertank te vullen.

• Verwijder de vuldop.

• Vul de watertank met maximum 4,5 L water. Gebruik warm water wanneer u het toestel sneller

gebruiksklaar wilt hebben.

• Breng de vuldop weer aan.

• Sluit het netsnoer correct en goed aan op het toestel.

• Steek vervolgens de stekker in het stopcontact en schakel het toestel in.

• Gemiddeld duurt het ongeveer 10 minuten om het water op te warmen.

• Het toestel is gebruiksklaar wanneer er stoom (zonder druk) uit de stoomplaat komt.
