1. Introduction
To all residents of the European Union
Important environmental information about this product
This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could
harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should
be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your distributor or to
a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.
Thank you for choosing Toolland. Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If
the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
The appliance is designed for domestic use only. Only us it as described in the instruction manual.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Always unplug the appliance before maintenance.
Do not use the appliance outside and keep it stored in a safe and dry spot.
Do not use spare parts different than the originals. They could be dangerous.
Never unplug the appliance by pulling the supply cord. Do not wind the supply cord around the appliance
but use the cord storage of the appliance itself.
Keep a minimum distance of 50 cm from walls and other materials when operating the appliance.
Warning: Do not use the appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
Never locate the appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
Do not touch the heating fins when operating the appliance. They will be very hot.
Avoid contact between the supply cord and the heater when it is operating. The heat could damage the
supply cord.
Never operate the appliance near inflammable or explosive materials or gases.
Do not cover the appliance with clothes, towels, papers, curtains or other things that could be cause of fire.
Never leave the heater unattended while it is in use. Keep children away from the heater. Protect children
against any danger of the use of electrical appliance.
Children or persons who lack the knowledge or experience to use the device or whose physical, sensory or
intellectual capacities are limited are not allowed to use the device without supervision or instructions by a
person who is responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they will not play
with the appliance.
Do not use the appliance in rooms when these are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on
their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
Do not insert things through openings in the appliance.
Always switch off and unplug the appliance when it is not operating correctly.
Do not unplug the appliance with wet hands.
Never use the appliance when it is damaged. Never use the appliance when the supply cord is damaged.
Use the appliance as described in this manual. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused
by wrong use of the appliance.
Repair of the appliance should only be carried out by a qualified specialist.

WARNING
The heater will be hot for some time.
5. Overview
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
6. Packaging
After packing out you must check the appliance for transport damages and missing pieces. Contact your
dealer when you notice any damage.
Do not throw away the packaging. You could use it when storing the appliance or for transportation.
Please store the packaging well. Plastic bags and other packaging materials could be dangerous for children
and pets.
7. Operation
Before operating the heater, you must attach the feet of the appliance. Never use the appliance without the
feet.
The heater could spread out a light odor when using it for the first time. This is normal and it will be
reduced after some time of use.
Your appliance is provided with a rotating control knob:
o I = minimum (750 W)
o II = medium (1250 W)
o I + II = maximum (2000 W)
Rotate the thermostat knob clockwise to the desired position and switch the heater on.
When your room reaches the desired temperature, you can slowly rotate the thermostat knob counter
clockwise until the pilot light goes out. The thermostat can now be left at this setting. As soon as the room
temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the unit will switch itself on automatically until the set
temperature has been reached again. In this way the room temperature remains constant with the most
economical use of electricity.
To completely shut off the heater, turn the control knob to OFF (0), and remove the plug from the socket-
outlet.
8. Turbo
The heater is equipped with an internal fan, which can be switched on independently of the heating elements.
This function allows the hot air to circulate much faster.
9. Overheating Protection
The appliance is provided with an overheating protection. This protection will switch off the appliance
automatically when it notices a malfunction. In this case, switch off the appliance and pull out the supply cord.
After a period of cooling down, the appliance will be ready to use again.
10. Cleaning and Maintenance
Before any maintenance you must switch off and unplug the heater. Let it cool down because some parts
could be hot after use.
Clean the heater with a moist cloth. Do not clean it with water or submerse it in water or any other liquid.
Never use solvents like gasoline, isoamyl, acetate, toluene, etc. to clean the heater.

1. Inleiding

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf
terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt
brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.
Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffende de verwijdering.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Controleer of de voedingsspanning overeenkomt met de spanning aangegeven op het typeplaatje.
Het toestel is enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis. Gebruik het toestel uitsluitend zoals beschreven in
deze handleiding.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
Trek steeds de stekker uit voor elk onderhoud.
Het toestel is niet geschikt voor gebruik buitenshuis en bewaar het op een veilige en droge plaats.
Gebruik enkel originele onderdelen. Deze kunnen gevaarlijk zijn.
Trek nooit aan de voedingskabel om het toestel te ontkoppelen. Wikkel de voedingskabel niet rond het
toestel, gebruik het daarvoor bestemde opbergvak.
De afstand tussen het toestel en de muur of andere voorwerpen moet minstens 50 cm bedragen.
Waarschuwing: Gebruik het toestel niet in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van een bad, een douche of een
zwembad. Installeer het toestel niet op een plaats waar het in een bad of ander waterreservoir kan vallen.
Raak de verwarmingsribben nooit aan wanneer het toestel in gebruik is. Deze zijn zeer warm.
Vermijd elk contact tussen de voedingskabel en het toestel wanneer deze in gebruik is. De hitte kan de
voedingskabel beschadigen.
Gebruik het toestel nooit in de buurt van brandbare, explosieve materialen of gassen.
Dek het toestel niet af met kleding, handdoeken, papier, gordijnen of andere brandbare materialen.
Laat het toestel nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het ingeschakeld is. Houd kinderen uit de buurt van het
toestel. Bescherm kinderen tegen de risico's verbonden aan het gebruik van elektrische toestellen.
Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (kinderen inbegrepen) met verminderde fysieke,
zintuiglijke of geestelijke capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder toezicht staan of
instructie hebben gekregen over het gebruik van het toestel van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor
hun veiligheid. Houd toezicht op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met het toestel spelen.
Gebruik het toestel niet in een ruimte waarin zich personen bevinden die de ruimte niet op eigen kracht
kunnen verlaten, tenzij er constant toezicht aanwezig is.
Steek geen voorwerpen in de openingen van het toestel.
Schakel het toestel uit en trek de stekker uit wanneer het niet correct functioneert.
Ontkoppel het toestel nooit met natte handen.
Gebruik het toestel niet wanneer het beschadigd is. Gebruik het toestel niet wanneer de voedingskabel
beschadigd is.
Gebruik het toestel zoals beschreven in deze handleiding. De fabrikant is niet aansprakelijk voor schade
veroorzaakt door verkeerd gebruik van het toestel.
Laat het toestel herstellen door een vakman.

Na het uitschakelen blijft het toestel nog een tijdje warm.
5. Omschrijving
Raadpleeg de afbeeldingen op pagina 2 van deze handleiding.
6. Verpakking
Controleer bij het uitpakken of het toestel tijdens het transport niet beschadigd is en er geen onderdelen
ontbreken. Als het toestel beschadigd is, contacteer uw dealer.
Gebruik de oorspronkelijke verpakking. U kunt het gebruiken om het toestel in op te bergen of te
transporteren.
Bewaar altijd de verpakking op een veilige plaats. Plastic zakken en ander verpakkingsmateriaal kunnen
gevaarlijk zijn voor kinderen en dieren.
7. Gebruik
Voor u het toestel gebruikt, bevestig de voetjes. Gebruik het toestel nooit zonder de voetjes.
Wanneer u het toestel voor het eerst gebruikt, kan dit gepaard gaan met een bepaalde geur. Dit is normaal
en de eventuele geur zal geleidelijk verdwijnen.
Het toestel is voorzien van een draaiknop:
o I = minimum (750 W)
o II = medium (1250 W)
o I + II = maximum (2000 W)
Draai de thermostaatknop in wijzerzin om de gewenste positie te kiezen en het toestel in te schakelen.
Wanneer de kamer de gewenste temperatuur bereikt, draai de thermostaatknop langzaam in tegenwijzerzin
totdat de led niet meer brandt. Houd de thermostaatknop in deze positie. Wanneer de temperatuur lager is
dan de ingestelde temperatuur, dan schakelt het toestel automatisch in totdat de gewenste temperatuur
opnieuw wordt bereikt. Op deze manier blijft de kamertemperatuur constant met een minimaal
energieverbruik.
Om het toestel volledig uit te schakelen, zet de knop op OFF (0) en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
8. Turbo
Het toestel is uitgerust met een ventilator die kan ingeschakeld worden, onafhankelijk van de
verwarmingselementen. Met deze functie zal de warmte zich sneller verspreiden.
9. Beveiligd tegen oververhitting
Het toestel is voorzien van een beveiliging tegen oververhitting. Deze functie schakelt het toestel automatisch
uit bij een eventuele storing. Is dit het geval, schakel het toestel dan uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Na een korte tijd is het toestel afgekoeld en opnieuw gebruiksklaar.
10. Reiniging en onderhoud
Schakel het toestel uit en trek de stekker uit voor elk onderhoud. Laat het toestel afkoelen, bepaalde
onderdelen kunnen warm zijn na gebruik.
Reinig het toestel met een vochtige doek. Reinig het toestel niet met water of dompel het niet onder in
water of andere vloeistoffen.
Gebruik nooit oplosmiddelen (bv. benzine, isoamylacetaat, tolueen, enz.) om het toestel te reinigen.
