Based on the customer needs, SMP260 can encode H.264 (also known as MPEG-4 AVC or Part 10) or MPEG-2 in
SD or HD format with ASI and IP output. With ASI and IP input, SMP260 supports PID remapping and EPG data
insertion and multiplexing. SMP260 encoder provides a cost-effective yet scalable solution for network operators to
compress the real-time programs for content redistribution.

• Encoding up to 6 programs in MPEG-2 SD or H.264 SD/HD format

• Support CVBS/SDI/HDMI input

• Support both ASI and IP input/output

• MPEG-1 Layer II Audio, LC-AAC, HE-AAC and Dolby AC-3 (future feature)

• Support stream processing including PID remapping and EPG data insertion
