The Thor Digital SDME series of digital modulators
are designed to take a standard analog audio and
video signal, digitally encode it and then modulate it
on a QAM channel for distribution to a digital TV.
There are 3 models available, SDME-101 encodes a
single program and outputs it to QAM, the SDME­201 encodes two separate programs (2 different A/V
sources) and outputs them on a single QAM, the
SDME-401 encodes four separate programs (4 differ­ent A/V sources) and outputs them on a single QAM.
