EQAM-430A (EdgeQAM with Pro:Idiom™) is designed to allow operators, integrators, and resellers of
DIRECTV®services to aggregate multiple HDTV programs for delivery over a standard coaxial distribution
network in commercial facilities such as hotels, hospitals, assisted living residences, and universities.

receivers deployed in various locations from a centralized NOC (Network Operation Center).

EQAM-430A accepts HD content from up to sixteen (16) COM23-600 satellite receivers and delivers up to
eight (8) outputs in QAM format, protected with Pro:Idiom™ encryption. The EQAM-430A can be config­ured with one or two output modules, each capable of delivering four (4) adjacent QAM RF channels.
Each QAM channel can contain up to two HD programs encoded in MPEG-4 or MPEG-2 for a total of 16
HD programs delivered over eight (8) QAM RF channels.
