Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil, hot liquid and hot food.
Unplug cord from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning and storing.
Do not clean with metal scouring pad or harsh abrasives.

Temperature dial should be in OFF position prior to plugging in and unplugging from wall outlet.
Locate this appliance a reasonable distance from combustible walls and materials to prevent the possibility of discoloration or combustion.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids near this appliance or any other appliance.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
Do not use accessories or attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not use appliance for other than its intended use.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
As a safety feature, this appliance has a grounded plug to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This plug is intended to fit into a grounded outlet only. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, contact a qualified electrician.
If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The cord should be arranged so that it won't be pulled or tripped over accidentally.

Power Capacity
Countertop Warmer operates at 120 volts, draws 10 amps and processes 1200 watts of power.
Before Using for the first time
1 Remove all packaging materials, labels and literature.
2 In a well ventilated area, set appliance on a level, stable surface.
3 Plug power cord into grounded outlet.
4 Add one gallon (4 quarts) of hot water to heatwell (approximately 130°
F) and heat appliance for approximately 30 minutes on HIGH temperature setting. (Note: It is normal that the appliance may release smoke and odor during this initial heating).
5 Clean the appliance
a. Turn temperature to OFF and unplug appliance prior to cleaning b. Allow appliance to cool, then empty any water from heatwell. c. Do not immerse appliance in water d. Clean with a clean damp cloth. e. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads as they can damage the
surface.
f. Mild cleaners and plastic scouring pads may be used if necessary.
To Operate your Countertop Warmer

1 Set appliance on level, stable surface and plug power cord into
grounded outlet.
2 Do not allow your customers to come in contact with any surfaces
labeled "CAUTION HOT".
3 For best results, operate the warmer WET (with water in heatwell) for
consistent food warming.
4 Add one gallon (4 quarts) hot water (approximately 130° F) to heatwell
and cover the warmer.
5 Set temperature control at HIGH setting for approximately 15 minutes.
6 Place full size or fractional steam table pans with preheated food into
heatwell.
7 Turn the control to lower setting depending on the amount or thickness
of the food.
8 Keep steam table pans and insets covered during operation to maintain
ideal serving temperature.
9 Carefully add hot water as necessary while the unit is in
operation.
10 Never pour water into dry heated heatwell. If the warmer
runs dry, turn it off and allow it to cool to room temperature before adding hot water.

Other Important Operating Recommendations
1 Do not place food directly into heatwell -- always use insets
and pans.
2 Always maintain food temperature of 150° F or above.
Care & Cleaning
1 We recommend cleaning the appliance after each use.
2 Turn temperature dial to OFF and unplug appliance from
outlet.
3 Allow appliance to completely cool.
4 Remove any pans or insets. Remove any water remaining in
heatwell.
5 Do not immerse appliance in water.
6 Clean with a clean, damp cloth.
7 Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads as they can damage
the surface. Mild cleaners and plastic scouring pads may be used if necessary.
One Year Limited Warranty
Tomlinson guarantees to the original purchaser of each Tomlinson Fusion Commercial 509FC Countertop Warmer that any part thereof which proves to be defective in material or workmanship within one year of the date of shipment will be repaired or a replacement part furnished F.O.B. our factory. Warranty will not apply if our examination shows oven to be defective as the result of negligence, abuse, misapplication or alteration by other than ourselves. Tomlinson will not be responsible for unauthorized field service. Contact factory at 1-800-945-4589 ext. 112 for instructions.
