Inbetriebnahme vor
dem Erstflug

1. USB-Kabel mit dem SmartPlane
verbinden und das SmartPlane
anschalten. Der An-/Aus-Schalter
befindet sich an der Unterseite des
SmartPlanes beim USB-Anschluss.

2. Bluetooth in den
Smartphone-Einstellungen aktivieren
und die SmartPlane-App aus dem App
Store/Google Play Store herunterladen.

3. Die App öffnen. Das SmartPlane
wird für den Erstflug vorbereitet
und verbindet sich anschließend
mit dem Flugzeug. Dieser
einmalige Prozess kann bis zu 12
Minuten dauern.
Das SmartPlane ist startklar!

Verbindung aufnehmen:

1. Das SmartPlane anschalten.

2. Die SmartPlane-App starten.

3. Das Smartphone an das Flugzeug in einem

Abstand von ca. 5 cm halten. Sobald die
App in den Flugzeugcockpit-Mode schaltet,
ist das SmartPlane startbereit.

Verbindung trennen:

4. Die App verlassen und das

SmartPlane ausschalten.

Flugvor- und Nachbereitungen

1. Durch zwei einfache Handbewegungen ermöglicht
die App eine komfortable und einfache Steuerung des
SmartPlanes. Hierfür wird nur eine Hand benötigt.

2. Für einen kontrollierten Start wird das SmartPlane
in der einen Hand festgehalten und das Smartphone
in der anderen Hand. Der Pilot gibt ca. 50% Schub
und wirft das Flugzeug sanft nach vorne, um es
dann durch leichte Kurskorrekturen in eine
stabile Fluglage zu bringen.

Geschwindigkeit/Flughöhe: Mit dem Daumen
wird der Schubregler in der unteren Mitte des
Displays gesteuert. Wird dieser hochgezogen,
gewinnt das Flugzeug an Geschwindigkeit.
Eine Bewegung nach unten reduziert diese.
Über die Geschwindigkeit lässt sich die
Flughöhe des SmartPlanes regulieren.
Kurvenflug: Durch ein leichtes Kippen des
Smartphones nach links oder rechts, leitet
das SmartPlane den Kurvenflug ein.

Steuerung des SmartPlanes

Das SmartPlane ist mit einem LiPo-Akku ausgestattet. Beachten Sie bitte folgende
Sicherheitshinweise:

- Der Akku befindet sich im Inneren der Nase des Flugzeuges im vorderen Teil.

- Bauen Sie den Akku nicht aus und nehmen Sie keine Veränderungen an ihm vor.

- Benutzen oder lagern Sie das SmartPlane nicht in der Nähe einer Hitzequelle wie z.B.
Feuer oder Heizung.

- Werfen oder schlagen Sie das SmartPlane nicht gegen eine harte Oberfläche.

- Benutzen Sie zum Aufladen des Akkus nur das mitgelieferte USB-Ladekabel. Stecken
Sie es hierfür an einen Standard-USB-Ladeanschluss an wie z.B. Ihrem Heimcomputer.

- WICHTIG: Laden Sie den Akku mindestens alle 6 Monate auf.

Entsorgung von unbrauchbaren Batterien und Akkus

Der Benutzer ist gesetzlich verpflichtet, unbrauchbare Batterien und Akkus
zurückzugeben. Eine Entsorgung von verbrauchten Batterien und Akkus im Hausmüll ist
verboten! Sie können Ihre unbrauchbaren Batterien und Akkus kostenlos bei
entsprechenden Sammelstellen Ihres Müllentsorgungsunternehmens oder bei Läden,
die Batterien führen, zurückgeben.

Entsorgung von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten und Bauteilen

Im Interesse unsrer Umwelt und um die verwendeten Rohstoffe möglichst
vollständig zu recyceln, ist der Verbraucher aufgefordert, gebrauchte und defekte
Geräte zu den öffentlichen Sammelstellen für Elektroschrott zu bringen.

Nicht geeignet für Kinder unter 14 Jahren.

Dieses Produkt kann in allen EU-Ländern betrieben werden.

Preparations for
the maiden flight

1. Plug in the charging cable and turn on
the SmartPlane using the switch on
the underside.

2. Activate Bluetooth in the smartphone
settings and download the
SmartPlane app from the App Store
and Google Play Store.

3. Open the app. The app automatically
prepares the SmartPlane for its first
flight, and then connects to the plane.
This process takes up to 12 minutes.
The SmartPlane is ready for take-off!

Establish connection:

1. Turn on the SmartPlane using the

switch at the bottom.

2. Open the SmartPlane app.

3. Hold the smartphone 5 cm away from

the aeroplane. As soon as the app
switches to cockpit mode, the
SmartPlane is ready for take-off!

Pre and post-flight procedure

When you’re done:

4. Close the app and turn off the SmartPlane

after you are done flying.

1. Using two simple hand movements, the app
enables comfortable and easy control of the
SmartPlane. For this, only one hand is necessary.

Speed/altitude: The sliding throttle in the app,
located on the bottom half of the screen, is
controlled with one thumb. By sliding the
throttle up, the airplane gains speed, and with a
downward movement, flying speed is reduced.
The altitude of the SmartPlane is regulated by
the speed.

Turning flight: By tilting the smartphone to the
left or right, turning flight of the SmartPlane is
initiated.

2. For a controlled start, the SmartPlane should be held
firmly in one hand, with the smartphone in the other.
The pilot gives approximately 50% thrust and throws
the aeroplane gently forwards, in order to then,
through light course correction, assume stable flight.

The SmartPlane features a LiPo battery. The battery is located inside the nose of the
aircraft in the front. Please observe the following safety precautions:

- Do not remove the battery and do not make any changes to it.

- Do not use or store the SmartPlane near a heat source such as fire or room heaters.

- Avoid throwing or hitting the SmartPlane on a hard surface.

- To charge the battery, use only the supplied USB charging cable. Connect it only to a
standard USB charging port e.g. one present on your home computer.

- IMPORTANT: Charge the battery at least once every 6 months.

Controlling the SmartPlane

Disposal of depleted batteries

The user is legally obliged to return depleted batteries.
Disposal of depleted batteries in the household garbage is prohibited!
You can return depleted batteries free of charge to designated collection points of your
garbage disposal company, or to shops selling such batteries.

Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment and components

In the interest of our environment and to recycle the used raw materials as completely
as possible, the consumer is asked to bring used and defective equipment to the
designated public collection centers for electrical and electronic equipment.

Not suitable for children under 14 years.
