IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal parts can become hot. Use any handles or knobs.
All chrome surfaces become extremely hot.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
6. Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must not be inserted into a toaster
as they may involve a risk of re or electrical shock.
7. A re may occur if toasters are covered or touching ammable material including
curtains, draperies, walls and the like, when in operation.
8. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning, putting on or removing parts.
9. Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse cord.
10. Clean out accumulated crumbs frequently to avoid risk of re or toaster malfunction.

11. Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
12. Do not let power cord hang over edge of a table or countertop (where it can be accidentally pulled) or touch any hot surface.
13. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
14. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other
hot liquids.
15. Never operate any appliance on top of a non-heat-resistant or ammable surface.
16. Never leave appliance unattended when in use.
17. Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven
or microwave.
18. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
19. The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
may cause re, electric shock or injury.
20. Do not use foods that will drip coatings or llings when heated. Such accumulations inside the toaster create unsanitary conditions and the possibility of re or toaster
malfunction.
21. To disconnect, cancel the toasting cycle and unplug from wall outlet
