SURFACE MOUNT BACKBOX

1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The YC-831HSW AM is a Surface Mount Backbox for N-SP80AS1 and N-SP80VS1 intercom door stations.
It is equipped with a heating element for installation in cold environments and a tamper switch that can be
connected to one of the two control inputs of an attached door station to trigger a tamper notification call.

2. INSTALLATION

Note: When mounting on an electrical box or directly to a wall, please make sure to tightly seal all edges to

avoid water entry.

Note: To enable the tamper-notification call, please setup the corresponding function in the browser menu

of N-SP80AS1/VS1 by referring the User Guide.
