FLYING BRACKET
SR-FB4
The SR-FB4 is designed to be used exclusively to suspend the SR-S4L or SR-S4S Line Array Speaker. Select the appropriate suspension holes to adjust the speaker's downward angle. A total of up to three SR-S4L and/or SR-S4S can be joined with the SR-FB4 bracket. Since the bracket is designed for indoor use, do not install it outdoors.

Step 1. Attach the suspension brackets (A) and (B)
to the speaker mounting bracket.
Note
The direction in which brackets (A) and (B) face each other differs depending on whether 1 or 2 wires are used to suspend the speaker.
Step 2. Remove the screws on both sides of the
speaker.
Step 3. Attach the speaker mounting bracket to the
speaker.
Step 4. When joining 2 or 3 speakers, use the
optional SR-EP4 Extension Plate(s) to join the speakers.
3. INSTALLATION
Select the appropriate angle adjustment suspension hole to make the speaker face down at the desired angle.
2. SUSPENDING THE SPEAKER
Note
When suspending the speaker, the angle of the suspension wires must be within 5° from the vertical axis.
The mounting position for the suspension bracket can be moved up to 20 mm back and forth, permitting fine adjustment of the suspension angle.
When the speaker is suspended, if the downward angle is insufficient, attach another SR-FB4 bracket to the speaker's bottom surface, and lift the speaker backward using wires.
Note
The angle of the wires must be within 5° from the vertical axis, and the inclination angle of the bottom of the lowest-positioned speaker within 30° from the horizontal axis.
Refer all installation work to the dealer from whom the speaker
was purchased. Installation for flying requires extensive technical knowledge and experience. The speaker may fall off if incorrectly installed, resulting in possible personal injury.
Flying Precautions
Be sure to follow the instructions below. Otherwise, the suspension wires or belts may be off or snap and the speaker may fall off, causing personal injury.
· Check to confirm that the suspension wires and belts are strong enough to withstand the speaker load.
· The suspension wires must be securely linked with the bracket.
· All parts and components (such as enclosures, metal pieces,
and screws) must be free from any deformation, crack, and corrosion.
· Be sure to use screws supplied with the bracket when mounting it to the speaker.
Install the unit only in a location that can structurally support the
weight of the unit and the speaker. Doing otherwise may result in the speaker falling down and causing personal injury and/or property damage.
Owing to the speaker's size and weight, be sure that at least two
persons are available to install the speaker. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.
Do not use other methods than specified to mount the bracket. Extreme force is applied to the unit and the speaker could fall off, possibly resulting in personal injuries.
Use nuts and bolts that are appropriate for the ceiling's structure
and composition. Failure to do so may cause the speaker to fall, resulting in material damage and possible personal injury.
Tighten each nut and bolt securely. Ensure that the bracket has
no loose joints after installation to prevent accidents that could result in personal injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if mishandled, could result in death or serious personal injury.
WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if mishandled, could result in moderate or minor personal injury, and/or property damage.
CAUTION
Avoid touching the unit's sharp metal edge to prevent injury.
Do not stand or sit on, nor hang down from the unit as this may
cause it to fall down or drop, resulting in personal injury and/or property damage.
Have the unit checked periodically by the shop from where it
was purchased. Failure to do so may result in corrosion or damage to the unit that could cause the unit to fall, possibly causing personal injury.
