Your telephone comes along with a charger cradle and an AC adaptor belonging to that cradle. Connect the small plug of the AC adaptor to the jack at the backside of the cradle and the connect the AC adaptor to a mains wall outlet.
Put the telephone in the charger cradle and the battery will be charged. During the charging process the right bar segment of the charger control display will flash in the display. As soon as the charging process has finished the flashing stops and all segments in that display are fully shown.

the AC adaptor can also be directly connected to the jack at the bottom side of the phone. And the battery can also be charged via the USB connector of a Computer.
Before using the phone for the first time fully charge the battery. To save battery life time only place the phone in the cradle when the battery is nearly depleted (only one or two bars of the battery condition segment are shown).
With an new and fully charged battery the phone can be operated for up to 210 hours (more than 8 days)when you do not take or place any calls. After some 170 minutes (2.8 hours) call time the battery will need to be charged again. Depending on the duration of your calls re-charging the battery usually is needed once a week. In the course of time the battery will lose capacity. If you realize after some time that the battery needs re-charging in shorter intervals you should replace the battery.
