Installatie

De tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone kan gebruikt worden in combi­natie met Skype, VoipBuster, NetAppel, SIPDiscount, VoIPStunt, Inter­netCalls, VoIPDiscount, SparVoip, MSN Messenger, mediaring*,
net2phone*, dialpad*, Google talk* en Firefly*. (Voor een overzicht
van alle programma’s verwijzen we u naar www.tiptel.nl of
www.tiptel.be)

* De tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone functioneert met deze programma’s al­leen als audio-apparaat. Het kiezen van het telefoonnummer en bediening van de
software etc. gebeurt via de PC en niet via de toetsen van het toestel.

1. Ga naar www.tiptel.nl of www.tiptel.be om de Skype software, voor
gratis bellen via Internet, te downloaden. Volg hiervoor het vol­gende pad:

2. Installeer de Skype software.

3. Sluit het basisstation van de tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone via

de USB kabel aan op de USB poort van uw PC of laptop.

4. Download nu de tiptel Manager for Skype. De tiptel Manager for

Skype kunt u vinden via het hierboven beschreven pad en klik bij
de Downloads op tiptel Manager for Skype om de tiptel Manager
for Skype te Downloaden.

5. Start het setup.exe bestand door op uitvoeren te klikken. Volg nu
de aanwijzingen op uw computer.

6. Een uitgebreidere gebruiksaanwijzing voor de installatie en oplos­singen bij problemen kunt u vinden op www.tiptel.nl of
www.tiptel.be.

een modern USB telefoontoestel. Kwalitatief hoogwaardige onderde­len en moderne productietechnieken garanderen optimale betrouw­baarheid.
De tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone wordt geleverd met een garan­tie van 24 maanden.

Installation

Für eine optimale Funktion dieses tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone
empfehlen wir die Installation der entsprechenden Gerätetreiber. Diese
müssen installiert sein, bevor Sie das Gerät an einen USB-Anschluss
Ihres Rechners stecken. Die Treiber finden Sie auf unserer Website:

1. Gehen Sie auf www.tiptel.org und wählen Sie das gewünschte
Land aus. Es öffnet sich die landesspezifische tiptel-Startseite.
Klicken Sie links unten auf ”Skype” bzw. ”VoIP” und dann weiter
bei tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone auf .

2. Unter ”Download” laden Sie bitte den aktuellen USB-Treiber für

das Gerät herunter. Merken Sie sich dieses Verzeichnis.

3. Gehen Sie in das Verzeichnis und doppelklicken Sie auf ”se­tup.exe”. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf Ihrem PC.

4. Starten Sie Ihren Computer neu, wenn Sie dazu aufgefordert
werden.

5. Schließen Sie nun die Basisstation des tiptel 217 plus wireless
USB phone mit Hilfe des USB-Kabels an einem freien USB-Port
Ihres PCs oder Notebooks an. Sollte Ihr PC über eine nicht USB­konforme Schnittstelle verfügen (teilweise bei Notebooks), wird
das Telefon u.U. nicht richtig erkannt. Sie können sich behelfen,
indem Sie zwischen Telefon und USB-Ausgang Ihres
PCs einen USB-Hub (möglichst aktive Ausführung) verwenden.

6. Halten Sie Ihre Original-Windows-CD bereit, es kann sein, dass
Sie aufgefordert werden, diese einzulegen.

Laden Sie sich die Telefonie-Software Skype™ herunter.

Sie finden den Link zur Software auf unserer Homepage am Ende
der Leistungsübersicht des tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone.

7. Installieren Sie diese Software. Starten Sie den „Tiptel Manager
für Skype“ und erlauben diesem die Kontrolle über „Skype“, da
sonst weder die Tastatur noch das Display funktioniert.

8. Sie können jetzt mit Ihrem tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone
über den PC telefonieren.

9. Sollten Sie Fragen zur Bedienung der Telefonie-Software haben,
wenden Sie sich bitte an Skype™.

Das tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone kann neben Skype auch z.B.
mit VoipBuster, NetAppel, SIPDiscount, VoIPStunt, InternetCalls,
VoIPDiscount, SparVoip, MSN Messenger, mediaring, net2phone,
dialpad, Google talk oder Firefly eingesetzt werden. Eine komplette
Übersicht finden Sie auf www.tiptel.org im Downloadverzeichnis die­ses Gerätes.

Garantie

Ihre Ansprechstelle für Leistungen aus Gewährleistungsverpflichtun­gen ist der Fachhändler, bei dem Sie das Gerät erworben haben.
Die TIPTEL AG leistet für Material und Herstellung des tiptel 217 plus
wireless USB phone eine Gewährleistung von 2 Jahren ab der Über­gabe.
Sollten einmal Probleme auftreten oder haben Sie Fragen zur Bedie­nung des Gerätes, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler. Dieser
ist innerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit Ihr Ansprechpartner.
Die TIPTEL AG hat für den technischen Support des Fachhandels eine
spezielle Rufnummer eingerichtet, so dass dieser Sie qualifiziert bera­ten kann.

logiciels suivants : Skype, VoipBuster, NetAppel, SIPDiscount,
VoIPStunt, InternetCalls, VoIPDiscount, SparVoip, MSN Messenger,
mediaring*, net2phone*, dialpad*, Google talk* et Firefly*. (Pour

* Le tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone fonctionnera seulement avec ces pro­grammes comme un périphérique audio. Les numéros de téléphone sont sélec­tionnés par le PC et le logiciel est géré par le PC et non pas via les touches du
téléphone.

1. Rendez-vous sur www.tiptel.fr (France), www.tiptel.be (Belgique),

www.tiptel-onlin.ch (Suisse) pour télécharger le logiciel Skype qui
vous permettra d’appeler gratuitement via internet. Pour ceci, sui­vez les étapes suivantes : Produits / VoIP / Produits Skype
puyez sur le bouton du tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone,
ensuite sur Downloads

2. Installez le logiciel Skype.

3. Raccordez la base du tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone via le

câble USB au port USB de votre PC ou portable.

4. Téléchargez maintenant le pilote tiptel Manager for Skype. Vous le

trouverez en suivant les étapes décrites ci-dessus.

5. Double-cliquez sur <<setup.exe>>. Suivez les instructions à

l’écran.

6. Vous pouvez trouver un manuel plus développé concernant

l’installation et les solutions en cas de problèmes sur www.tiptel.fr

pour télécharger les logiciels VoipBuster et Manager for VoipBuster.

Installation

For an optimal functioning of this tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone
we recommend the installation of the corresponding drivers. They
must be installed befor connecting the device to the USB interface of
your computer. The drivers can be obtained from our homepage.

The tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone can be used in combination
with e.g. Skype, VoipBuster, NetAppel, SIPDiscount, VoIPStunt, Inter­netCalls, VoIPDiscount, SparVoip, MSN Messenger, mediaring,
net2phone, dialpad, Google talk and Firefly. For a complete overview
of all programs please refer to www.tiptel.org in the download direc­tory of this device.

1. Proceed to www.tiptel.org and choose the requested country. The

countryspecific tiptel homepage is opening. Click down left on
“Skype” resp. “VoIP” and then, under tiptel 217 plus wireless USB
phone on .

2. Under ”Download” please load the current USB driver for the de-

vice. Keep this directory in mind.

3. Go to the directory and double-click on “setup.exe”. Follow the

instructions on your PC.

4. Re-boot your computer when you are requested to do so.

5. Now connect the USB plug of the base station of the tiptel 217

plus wireless USB phone to a free USB port of your PC or note­book. Should your PC not dispose of a USB conform interface
(partly with notebooks), the telephone will possibly not be recog­nized correctly. You could manage this by using a USB-hub
(preferrably active model) between the telephone and the USB
port of you PC.

6. Keep your original windows CD at hands, you might be requested

to insert it. Download the telephony software Skype
a link to this software on our homepage at the end of the list of
features of the tiptel 217 plus wireless USB phone.

7. Install the software. Run “tiptel Manager for Skype” and allow it to

control SkypeTM. Otherwise both keypad and display will not work.

8. You can now make telephone calls with your tiptel 217 plus wire-

9. In case of any questions regarding the handling of the telephone

software, please contact SkypeTM.

Guarantee and service

Please contact your local dealer or importer for details of guarantee for
non EC countries.
Within the European Community the following guarantee regulation
applies: Your contact for services arising from guarantee obligations is
the authorised dealer where you bought the device.
TIPTEL AG will grant a guarantee of 2 years from the date of handover
for the material and for the manufacturing of the telecommunications
terminal unit. If, however, problems occur or you have questions on
operating the device, please contact your local dealer.
