DIRECTIONS FOR USING THE FLOW CALIBRATOR 58-FMC
Connect the Quick Connect to the high pressure port of DP Transmitter under calibration.
• Leave the low pressure port of the transmitter open to atmosphere.
• Connect the output from the transmitter through required power supply to an accurate digital multimeter.
• Divide the range of the transmitter into five equal divisions, example 6000 mm WC =0, 1500 mmWc -25%, 3000 mmWC – 50%, 4500 mmWC – 75% and 6000 mmWC – 100%.
•  Check the Zero output of the transmitter without giving any pressure to the HP and LP side.
•  Give 6000 mmWC (full span 100%) to the HP side, check output correct span if required. Check zero for any shift and correct if necessary.
• Close the return valve of the squeeze bulb and pump pressure using the squeeze bulb to 25% (eg. 1500 mmWC) check the output.
• Go on in steps of 25% to check intermittent calibration.
•  Once again check zero and span for any shift or error.
•  Tabulate readings for future reference.
