Welcome to Road Runner Mobile™.
Simply follow the instructions below to install the Connection Manager
software and configure your Road Runner Mobile device.
Then, plug in, connect and go!
Step 2: CONFIGURE & CONNECT
After you have installed the Connection Manager you’re ready
for the next step.
Insert your Road Runner Mobile Card into an available USB port.1.
Double-click on the 2. desktop icon to launch the Connection Manager.
3. Click Connect.
Step 1: INSTALL THE CONNECTION MANAGER
Insert the Connection Manager Installation CD
into your laptop’s CD or DVD drive:
WINDOWS USERS:
The Install CD will automatically launch.1.
Choose the Install option from the welcome page.2.
If the CD does not automatically run, manually launch the 3.
CD from My Computer, and click on the Setup file
to begin the process.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your installation. 4.
MAC USERS:
Double-click the file named -1.
Time Warner Cable Connection Manager.zip to un-zip and
open the Installation Application.
Open the 2. Install program file to begin the application.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your installation.3.
GETTING STARTED
Now you are ready to enjoy
Road Runner Mobile on the go!
For Mac Users Only: The first time you connect to the 3G and 4G network,
you may be prompted to set up a new network configuration. Simply click
Apply and the setting will be automatically established.
USING THE CONNECTION MANAGER
The Connection Manager makes it easy to manage all of your wireless
Internet connections with a few clicks. When you click ‘Connect,’ it
automatically searches for the fastest network in the area, providing you
with the best connection available every time.
Wi-Fi: Connect over a local Wi-Fi network or one of your
preferred Wi-Fi Profiles using the Available Wi-Fi button.
(Wi-Fi is not avaliable for Mac systems)
4G: Connect over the super-fast 4G Mobile network.
3G: Connect outside of the 4G area for extended coverage.
(requires a subscription to a Road Runner Mobile National service plan)
WARRANTY
This U301 3G/4G USB Data Card is covered by a 12-month warranty
for any defect or failure of the device that is caused solely by the
manufacturer. Some restrictions apply. Please call Customer Support

This modem must be 5 mm (0.2 in.) or more from the user and
bystanders during operation to satisfy FCC (regulatory) RF exposure
requirements. It is approved for use with normal-size notebook
computers only (typically with 12-inch or larger display screens). For
notebook computers with a display screen smaller than 12 inches or if
the orientation of the USB slot does not allow for at least 5 mm between
the modem and the user or bystanders, use the provided extension
cable to ensure a safe distance between the modem antenna and users
or bystanders. To meet FCC requirements, use only the supplied USB
extension cable; other cables should not be used.
Road Runner Mobile service is not available in all areas. Coverage not available in all areas. 4G service only
available in certain metro areas; 3G service is required for coverage outside of 4G metro areas. Offer available to residential customers only. Subscription to at least one other Time Warner Cable service is required.
Service requires the use of a compatible wireless device. Additional per-MB domestic roaming charges will
apply for service outside of the 4G and 3G coverage areas.
