4. Installation
• Ensure that the mains supply to the circuit breaker is switched off
and the circuit supply fuses are removed or the circuit breaker
turned OFF.
• Remove the front of the unit by undoing the 4 Pozi screws and then
remove the bezel and lens with gasket.
• Turn the 2 central fasteners 90 degrees so they match with the slots,
this will release the gear tray.
• Carefully lift the gear tray and disconnect the 2 way plug. You can
do this by holding down the locking bar on one half, at the same time
grip the 2 release clips on opposite side and pull. This will disconnect

• Mark the position of the mounting holes on the wall using the unit
as a template (there are provision for 4 mounting holes) and drill the
holes ensuring not to infringe with any gas/water pipes or electrical
cables that may be hidden below the surface. Insert the rawl plugs
into the holes.
• Pass the 230V 50Hz mains supply cable through the cable entry
points on the wall plate, ensuring the grommet is used to maintain
the IP rating of the luminaire.

• Fix the luminaire to the wall using the correct screws for the
rawl plugs installed.
• Terminate the supply cable into the terminal block (See section 5.
Connection Diagram) ensuring correct polarity is observed and that
all bare conductors are sleeved.
• Reconnect the 2 way plug the opposite way that was used
to disconnect. This can be achieved by holding down the locking
bar on one half, at the same time grip the 2 release clips on opposite
side and push together. This will re-connect the gear tray.
• Position the gear tray over the 2 central fasteners. Turn them both
90 degrees so they are opposite to the slots locking the gear tray
to the unit.
