1. GENERAL

2. WARRANTY
See tii Warranty. All units are completely
encapsulated and are not repairable. If this unit
fails during the warranty period, the factory should
be requested to authorize return. Return the unit
prepaid when authorization is received. Units that
fail due to abuse or normal wear should be
discarded.
3. INSTALLATION
Remove the ELP-1 from the packaging and
inspect it, if defective, see warranty above.
The ELP-1 is equipped with a mounting flange
slot on the top, secure to flat surface near ONT
using a # 8 Philips screw. Mounting can be also
be accomplished using a double sided tape or
Velcro.
The unit is supplied with a #10 and #22 AWG
ground wire. Connect the #10 ground wire to the
main ground in the ONT. Connect the #22
ground to the shield of the fiber cable using
standard bonding connectors.

can be achieved via connection to either the IDC
rocker or the RJ-11 jack. Connect customer wiring
using required interface.
Connect the ELP-1 RJ-11 plug to the phone line
connection on the ONT to connect service. Do not
connect this RJ-11 until ground wire is in place.
The ELP-1 is equipped with an internal ground lug
to bond multiple units together when required.
For multiple line applications the ELP-1 is
equipped with mating tabs on both the left and
right of the closure. They are mated by aligning the
mating tabs and clicking them together. See figure
2.
