INSTALLATION NOTE

1. GENERAL

1.1 The tii 169T-2S-4 Series Sealed Wire Termination Housing is used for installing tii 68T-2S-4 Series Wire Termination Blocks where connections are needed for a home security system and customer telephone wires. This installation note applies to both of these products.

1.2 The tii 169T-2S-4 can be mounted indoors or outdoors using the standard hardware provided.

Note:

When it is necessary to terminate to the block with a wire larger than 22awg we suggest splicing 22awg or smaller wire to the larger wire using a miniature terminal splice such as 3M’s Scotchlok #UR2 (1926awg max, .155 dia. Insulation) or #314 (14-22awg, max, .082 dia. Insulation).
