A FEW IMPORTANT WORDS OF ADVICE
- This baby alarm CAN UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE A SUBSTITUTE for monitoring the
baby by an adult.
- The transmitter is designed to detect sounds of a normal level in a 3-metre radius (approx.)
from the baby.
- Please always be sure to keep electrical devices and their wires out of the reach of children.
- Remove all the batteries from the battery compartment when the transmitter is not to be
used for long periods.
- In order to obtain the best range, we advise operating the transmitter using the mains elec-
tricity supply. The transmitter’s range is in practice reduced (less than 100 metres in open
spaces) when it is operated using batteries.
- In order to obtain the best possible reception, please keep both the transmitter and the re-
ceiver in a vertical position.
- When the distance separating the transmitter and the receiver is too short, you risk crea-
ting feedback (a high-pitched sound). To avoid this happening, you just need to increase
the distance between the receiver and the transmitter or reduce the volume on the receiver.
- When the distance separating the transmitter and the receiver is too long, you risk suffe-
ring a high level of interference. This indicates that you are at the limit of your device’s
range. To correct this, you just need to bring the receiver closer to the transmitter.
- The range of this device is variable depending on the obstacles encountered (the terrain,
number of walls separating the transmitter from the receiver, etc.).
- This device should not be used for inappropriate monitoring of private conversations. Such
use is strictly illegal.
- Please read all the instructions carefully before using this baby alarm. Please retain this
booklet as it constitutes permanent proof of purchase and could be used for identification
purposes in case of theft.
- Never dismantle the baby alarm yourself.
- Keep the devices away from all sources of heat (40°C maximum) or damp.
- Check regularly that your baby alarm is operating properly.

disperse and do not cover them up.
- Avoid dropping or strong shocks.
- Only use this product with the power supply included or provided as an accessory.
Keep the device away from naked flames, such as lit candles. To protect the environment, do
not dispose of used batteries alongside household waste, but dispose of them in facilities
designed for this purpose.
- The adaptor is a sectioning unit and should be readily accessible.
- Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat, like sunlight, naked flames or other
