When using any electr i cally powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

WARNING!: - to reduce the risk of fire, ele ctrical shock or injury to persons or property:

• Carefully read all instruct ions before operating your new pr oduct for the first time and save for fut ur e
reference.

• Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before us in g t he Stick Mixer
for the first time.

• To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and s afely discard the protective cover fitted to
the plug of this appliance.

• Use the Stick Mixer only for its intended use as described in this instructio n m anual.

• Avoid coming into contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing and other utens il s aw ay from the

blade during operation to pr event injury and/or damage to t he Stick Blender & chopper.

• Do not use hard objects (spoon, knife, or fork etc) on the blades. Also, do not grasp turning blade with
hands.

• Always wait until the blades hav e completely stopped before r emoving them from the Stick Mixer and
chopper.

• Remove detachable shaft from the mixer body before washing.

• Do not place the Stick Mixer near the edge of a bench or t able during operation. Ensure the s ur f ace is

level, clean and free of water, flour, et c.

• Do not let the power cord hand over t he edge of a bench or table, touch hot surfaces or become knotted
in any way.

• Do not place the Stick Mixer on or near a hot gas or electr ic burner, or where it could touch a heated
oven. Operate on a smooth lev el surface.

• Do not cover the Stick Mixer and chopper whilst in operation.

• Do not immerse unit, power plug, power cord or motor base in water.

• Children should be supervised t o ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Close supervision is nece ssar y when any appliance is used near c hildren.

• Never operate any appliance w ith a damaged power cord or plug, sh ould the appliance malfunction, or if

it has been damaged in any mann er .

• Always make sure the Stick Mixer is completely assembled before operating.

• Do not operate the appliance co nt inuously for more than 1 minute. A llow the motor to rest for 1 minute

between each use.

• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.

• To disconnect from a power outlet, grip plug and pull from the w all outlet. Never pull on the cor d

• This appliance is for household use only. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended

use. Do not use in moving v ehicle s or boat s. Do not use outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.

• Do not blend food that is in a sauc epan over heat. Remove fro m the heat source and ensure the pow er
cord and body is kept away from the heat source.

• Handle the Stick Mixer and accessories with care. The bl ade is very sharp and should be kept out of
reach of children.

• Before attempting to chan ge any accessories, release t he O n/Off button, turn the power off at the out let
and unplug the cord.

• Do not use any attachments ot her t han t hose pr ovided with your Stick Mixer.

• Do not process hot or boiling liqu ids in the chopping bowl. Allow liq ui ds to cool before placing into the

chopper bowl.

• It is not recommended to use an extension cord with this appl iance.

• This appliance is not intended f or use by persons (including childr en) w it h r educed physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given super vision or
instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety .

• Save these instructions.

• The installation of a residu al cur r ent device (safety switch) is recommended to provide ad ditional safety

protection when using ele ctrical appliances. It is advisable that a safety switch with a r ated residual
operating current not exceeding 30mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the appliance. See
your electrician for professional advice.

• This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. Any maintenance other than cleaning should be
performed by a qualified per son.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Carefully remove your Stick Mixer with mini chopper from the box and remove any packaging
materials.

• Remove the detachable shaft and wash in warm soapy water (refer to instructions). Rinse and dry
thoroughly. Ensure that there is no water left inside the blending shaft.

• Disassemble and wash the mini chopper bowl, blade and lid in warm soapy water. When using the
700ml jug for the first time, it is recommended to wash it as well. Ensure no water is left in the
chopper bowl, rinse and dry all parts thoroughly.

WARNING: Do not immerse the motor unit, cord or plug in water or any other liquid. All processing
blades are extremely sharp. Avoid any contact with hands.

NOTE: T he stick mixer body can be attached to the detachable shaft for use as a hand blender or to
the chopper bowl for use as a mini chopper or food processor.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

STICK MIXER:
NOTE: The maximum operating time is 1 minute. For every 1 minute of continuous use, rest for 1 minute.

After two continuous cycles, it is recommended to let the motor rest for 10 minutes.

1. The Stick Mixer should be cleaned before first use, refer to instructions above.

2. Ensure the unit is unplugged.

3. Attach the detachable shaft to the mixer body and turn clockwise to lock into position.

4. Put the ingredients to be blended into a durable mixing bowl, ensure the bowl is tall enough to avoid
splattering.

5. Plug the Stick Mixer into a suitable power outlet.

6. Dip the detachable shaft as deep as possible into the ingredients to be blended. NOTE: Do not
immerse the Stick Mixer in food or liquid above the ‘MAX’ indicator line.

7. Press and hold one of the speed buttons (Hi or Low) to operate the unit.

8. Work the Stick Mixer through the ingredients with a gentle up and down motion, until the desired
consistency has been achieved. Allow the blades to stop rotating before lifting the Stick Mixer out of
the bowl.

9. When you have finished blending, unplug the appliance, and remove the detachable shaft by
turning anti-clockwise.

10. Clean the attachments thoroughly.

MINI CHOPPER:

This accessory is used to chop meat, vegetables and similar mixtures of foodstuffs and is only
recommended for light duty mixing only.

NOTE: The maximum operating time is 1 minute. For every 1 minute of continuous use, rest for 1 minute.
After two continuous cycles, it is recommended to let the motor rest for 10 minutes.

1. Choose a flat stable surface for the mini chopper.

2. Ensure the unit is unplugged.

3. Attach the mini chopper lid to the mixer body and turn clockwise to lock into position.

4. Place the double blade knife into the chopper bowl. NOTE: The double blade knife is very sharp!

5. Add the pre-prepared ingredients into the chopper bowl. The chopper works best when the
ingredients are cut into small, uniform pieces. Do not fill the bowl above the ‘MAX’ fill line.

6. Place the lid onto the chopper, ensuring it is on correctly.

7. Plug the unit into a suitable power outlet.

8. Press and hold one of the speed buttons (Hi or Low) to operate the unit.

9. For a fine consistency, you will need to hold the speed button for longer. For a course consistency
press and release the speed button until the desired mix has been achieved.

10. When you have finished mixing, unplug the appliance, and remove the mixer body from the lid by
turning anti-clockwise. Wait until the blades stop, and then remove the lid and transfer the
ingredients from the bowl. Once the chopper bowl is empty, carefully remove the blade.

11. Clean the attachments thoroughly.

WARNING: Do not operate the Stick Mixer when the bowl is empty.

NOTE: During operation, hold the mixer body with one hand, and the mini chopper with the other.

HANDY HINTS

• To ensure uniform results, gently move the detachable shaft around the mixture.

• If you want to clean the sides of the bowl whilst mixing, turn the Stick Mixer off first, and then

proceed to scrape the sides of the bowl.

• To avoid unnecessary splattering, always immerse the detachable shaft into the mixture before
switching the unit on.

• The speed can be adjusted at any time whilst blending. For thicker mixtures, a low speed is
recommended. For fine, smooth mixtures, use the Hi setting.

• If whipping cream, it is recommended to place the cream in a bowl in the fridge to cool for a few
minutes.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

NOTE: Use extreme care when handling the double blade knife. Do not touch the bl ades with your fingers. The
blades are very sharp and can cause injury if touched.

• Before commencing any cleaning, ensure the unit is unplug ged from the power supply.

• Disconnect the mixer bod y from either the detachable shaft, or the mini chopper lid (whichever is in use).

• Wash the disassembled par ts in warm soapy water, rinse and dr y thoroughly. NOTE: it is much easier to

clean the parts directly after use.

• The mixer body must not be im mersed in water or any other liquid, i f it nee ds t o be cl eaned, wipe over
the body with a soft damp cloth. To r emove stubborn spots, wipe the s urface with a slightly damper cl ot h
with a mild non-abrasive deter gent . Dry with a soft cloth.

• Do not use any abrasive cleaner s on any part of the mixer or the accessories, it will damage the exterior.

CAUTION: T he Stick Mixer motor shou ld never be immersed in water or any ot her li quid.
