tests. Normal use or the use of oth er r ecommended attachments may draw significantly les s power.

When using any electr i cally powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

WARNING!: - to reduce the risk of fire, ele ctrical shock or injury to persons or property:

• Carefully read all instruct ions before operating your new pr oduct for the first time and save for fut ur e
reference.

• Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before us in g t he Stick Mixer
for the first time.

• To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and s afely discard the protective cover fitted to
the plug of this appliance.

• Use the Stick Mixer only for its intended use as described in this instructio n m anual.

• Avoid coming into contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing and other utens il s aw ay from the

blade during operation to pr event injury and/or damage to t he Stick Blender & chopper.

• Do not use hard objects (spoon, knife, or fork etc) on the blades. Also, do not grasp turning blade with
hands.

• Always wait until the blades hav e completely stopped before r emoving them from the Stick Mixer and
chopper.

• Remove detachable shaft from the mixer body before washing.

• Do not place the Stick Mixer near the edge of a bench or t able during operation. Ensure the s ur f ace is

level, clean and free of water, flour, et c.

• Do not let the power cord hand over t he edge of a bench or table, touch hot surfaces or become knotted
in any way.

• Do not place the Stick Mixer on or near a hot gas or electr ic burner, or where it could touch a heated
oven. Operate on a smooth lev el surface.

• Do not cover the Stick Mixer and chopper whilst in operation.

• Do not immerse unit, power plug, power cord or motor base in water.

• Children should be supervised t o ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Close supervision is nece ssar y when any appliance is used near c hildren.

• Never operate any appliance w ith a damaged power cord or plug, sh ould the appliance malfunction, or if

it has been damaged in any mann er .

• Always make sure the Stick Mixer is completely assembled before operating.

• Do not operate the appliance co nt inuously for more than 1 minute. A llow the motor to rest for 1 minute

between each use.

• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.

• To disconnect from a power outlet, grip plug and pull from the w all outlet. Never pull on the cor d

use. Do not use in moving v ehicle s or boat s. Do not use outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.
