WARNING!: - to reduce the risk of fire, electr ical shock or injury to persons or property:
• Carefully read all instruct ions before operating your new product for the first time and keep for future
reference.
• Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before using the product for
the first time.
• Do not operate any appliance w it h a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is
dropped or damaged in any mann er . Ret ur n appliance to the nearest authori zed service facility for
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjust me nt .
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized servic e agent or a
qualified technician in order t o avoid a hazard.
• Unplug from power outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, filling, and before
cleaning.
• When the appliance is hot, gr asp it only by the handle.
• Children should be supervised t o ensure that they do not play with the app liance.
• Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission o f steam.
• Never hold your hand over t he steam spray or on hot metal parts.
• You should not open the water reservoir while the iron is in use. Allow the device to cool down
completely before filling.

• NEVER direct jets of stea m at people or animals.
• Under NO circumstances should you use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage, has fallen or
leaks water. Arrange for it to be repaired by qualified specialists.
• Do NOT leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to a power outlet.
• Only store the appliance when it has cooled down completely.
• Place the appliance on level an d heat r esistant surface only with the stand fo lded out.
• Use only the ironing temperatures given in the care instructions for the material, or those suitable for it.
Otherwise, you could damage the material. Should care instructions not be given or known, start with the
lowest temperature settin g.
• To disconnect from the pow er s ocket, pull only on the plug itself, not on the cord.
• Never bend (kink) or crush the power cable. Arrange it in such a way that it cannot come into contact
with hot surfaces and so no-one can step on or trip over it.
• After every use, before cleaning the appliance, and when refilling with water, remove the plug from the
power outlet.
• Always fully unravel the power cord before switching on and do not use an extensio n c ord.
• Never touch the power cord or the power plu g w ith wet hands.
