Studio 5 Monitor Speaker
The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated „dangerous voltage“ within the product‘s enclosure that may be of sucient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation paint within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance(servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

Thank you for choosing the TIE monitor system. To get the most out of your new monitor system, please read this manual carefully and grasp the product‘s feature, set-up, and use.
ABOUT THE TPMH-5A
To achieve the professional speaker system, the high-efciency power amplier and the sophisticated cabinet you are now using, our engineers had to research and develop over years. We applied advanced circuit designs such as Bi- amplier, active asymmetrical crossover of fourth-order and temperature protection etc. Therefore you will benet from an extended frequency response, clear and sweet tones, powerful bass response, high sound pressure levels and a convincing dynamic range.
SET-UP
If you use the 5a in a stereo conguration, please place both monitors referred to gure 1. Note: cabinets can be placed vertically or horizontally without constraints regarding the overall performance. Don’t position the cabinets‘ back side close to a wall or other objects , because the bass port is built in there. If some object blocking the bass port, the sound performance will decline. Monitors should be placed on a stable surface at about ear level, and the next the distance between the monitors should equal the distance from the listener to either monitor.
GENERAL iNFoRMAtioN

This is the „equal length triangle“ rule for speaker placement. If you obey the equal-distance, ear-level, face-on rule, you will have good environment for listening.
Figure 1
When the listener and the monitors are positioned in an equal triangle with the monitors directly facing the listener, the listener situated in the „sweet spot“, which yields optimum stereo reproduction.
