Safety precautions
Read these safety instructions before using your device and store them for possible future reference
BATTERY, CHARGER, AND OTHER ACCESSORIES
- If the charger cord is damaged, have it repaired by qualified service technician
or replace with a compatible part.
- The charger is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity. Persons who have not read the manual, unless they have received explanations by a person responsible for their safety and supervision should not use this unit.
- Children should be monitored to ensure that they do not play with the charger.
- The charger should always be readily accessible.
- The device and charger should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.
- No objects filled with liquids such as vases shall be placed on the device.
- Always leave a minimum distance of 10 cm around the unit to ensure sufficient ventilation.
- Naked flame sources, such as candles, should not be placed on top of the device.
- The device is intended for use only in a temperate climate.
- CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced or not replaced by the same type or equivalent.

1.2 Tablet state and notice
Icons for notifications
The Android operating system on your tablet provides notifications in the bottom right corner of the screen. Notifications are displayed with icons. Click on the notifications to open detailed information about the notification. The following are icons used in status bar:

2. Getting Started Guide
Statement: This User Manual reflects the version of the Android operating system on this product at the time of publication. As Android is frequently updated, there may be differences between the contents of this User Manual and the product. Thank you!
2.1 Battery Charging
Your new Tablet has an internal rechargeable battery. We recommend to charging the device fully before using for the first time.
Power adapter
Connect the included power adapter to the jack on the side of the tablet and any standard AC wall socket.
Battery Charging Indicator
1.
The battery charging indicator turns red indicating charging when the AC adapter is plugged in. The charging indicators will change to green when the battery has a full charge.

The tablet can be used while charging.

2.2 Getting Started
Turn the Tablet on
Press and hold the Power Key until the LCD screen turns on. Wait until the Home screen appears. The tablet is now ready for use.
Turn the Tablet off
1. Press and hold the

until the Tablet options menu appears.

Press ok to turn off the Tablet.
2.3 Turn the Screen
On And Off
When the Tablet is on, you can turn off the screen to conserve battery power. Simply press the Power Key once to turn the screen off. Press the Power Key again to turn the screen back on.
Note: The charging time will be longer when operating and charging at same time.

2.4 Unlocking the Screen
Unlock the screen by touching and sliding the lock icon towards unlock icon.
2.5 Use of touch
screen
Your new tablet is equipped with a capacitive touch screen. You can navigate the Android operating system using your finger tips to click, scroll, and type directly on the screen.
Click to select
When you want to use screen keyboard entry, and you want to select items on the homepage interface such as application program, tap with your finger tip to select or ‘click’.
Click to Activate
If you want to activate an item (such as textbox or hyperlink in a webpage), tap on the item with your finger tip.
Scrolling or Sliding
Scrolling or sliding is done by sliding your finger tip along the screen rapidly up or down or left to right.
Drag
To press and hold item with your finger tip and slide your finger to the desired location on the screen. Lift your finger to release the item. (Keep your finger pressed against the screen while dragging.)

Note: To conserve battery power, the screen can be set to turn off automatically when the tablet is not in use (between 15 seconds and 30 minutes). This screen timeout option can be found in the display setting menu.

Rotate
Aiming at most of pictures, only turn the Tablet in side direction, the screen direction can be shifted from cross direction to vertical direction. For example, when you input characters, watch cinema, etc.
2.6 Homepage Interface
The homepage on your tablet is used to display shortcuts to your applications, widgets, and to access other menus on the tablet. The background wallpaper can be changed to suit your personal tastes using included wallpapers or one of your own photos.
Scrolling between homepage screens
Your tablet homepage is comprised of 5 screens that can be scrolled back and forth to provide an extended space for application icons, shortcuts, and widgets. You can scroll between the multiple home pages by sliding your finger left or right on the side of the screen.

Change desktop wallpaper
1.
Long press the screen.
2. A pop-up menu will prompt you to choose a location to find the image you would
like to use as your new homepage wallpaper.
3. After clicking source of wallpaper, click picture you want, and then select “setting
wallpaper”.
Add widgets
Widgets are small, interactive tools that can be placed on your homescreen to provide information, such as weather or time, or provide quick actions, like frequently called numbers, etc. To add widgets to your home page :
1. Click application program menu in the upper right corner of the homepage.
2. After entering application program menu, click “WIDGETS” button on the top left of interface.
3. Press and hold the widget you want. The system will return back homepage, while holding the widget, drag it to the location on the screen where you want to place it and let go. The widget will now be available on the homepage.

2.7 Accessing Apps
How to launch an application on your tablet
1. Please click application program menu in the upper right hand corner of the homepage to display the APPS page.
2. Scroll left or right to view icons for your APPS. Press the icon to launch the APP.
3. You can exit the APP by pressing the back key to the last interface, or press the homepage key to return homepage interface directly.
2.8 USB connection
Storage setting of Tablet
Before transferring data to or from your tablet, you must set storage mode first:
1. Connect tablet with computer by using the included Micro USB data cable. Notice bar will show the notice prompt.
2. Click status bar, options of status bar show.

Copy data to storage card
1. Connect Tablet and computer together with USB cable.
2.
After setting according to storage of Tablet, connect with computer successfully.
3.
Open your computer, in my computer; examine content in “removable disk (x)”.
4. Find the document you want to copy, copy it to “removable disk(x)”.
5. After completion of copying, click “safely remove hardware” in taskbar of your computer to unload.
Tablet storage memory
1. Your tablet has onboard FLASH memory to store data and applications.
2. You can supplement the onboard storage by inserting a removable SD memory card.
3. Both types of storage can be accessed on your computer by connecting the tablet via the USB data cable.
2.9 Character input
Use screen keyboard
When you start the program or select text edit box needing to input characters or numbers, the touch screen virtual keyboard will appear on the screen. The following input methods are provided for the keyboard to select.
1. Android keyboard
2. Input method of a third party (user can install additional keyboards from the Google Play store).

Note: when your tablet is connected with USB cable and the memory card is mounted as a drive on your computer, the contents of storage card will be unavailable on the tablet until the USB has been disconnected.

2.10 Application Technique
Open an application that is used recently.
You can open a list of recently used applications by clicking on the button (located
to the right of the home button). Figure.

Adding widgets and shortcuts to the homescreen
On the application procedure menu, click “WIDGETS” button and enter into the interface of small parts, the icon and name for added small parts can appear on this interface, such as: music, photo frame, clock and searching.
Switch of Input Language
Click the keyboard icon at the lower right corner of interface for input box; after clicking, pop up all input methods installed on this equipment by you, click and select the Input method.
Rapidly shut off the procedure
Click the Back Key to return to the homepage interface, or click the Homepage key to instantly exit the application and return to the homepage.
Factory Default
In the event your tablet produces a serious system error or the password is forgotten, the Factory Default can be used to reset the tablet to the original configuration. There are two methods of setting the Factory Default:

From any application, you can make a screenshot by pressing Volume Down key and Power key simultaneously. The image file will be saved in the gallery.

3 Connection Establishment
3.1WIFI Connection
Your Tablet is equipped with WiFi networking. To connect a WiFi network:
1. On the homepage interface, click and select the menu key and pop up the menu setting;
2.
Click and select the System Setting;
3. Click Wi-Fi and ensure Wi-Fi is switched to “On”;
4. After opening Wi-Fi, a list of nearby Wi-Fi networks will appear on the right.
5. Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to and enter the password if required.
6.
Click the Connect.

4.1E-mail
Setting for E-mail
The E-mail application procedure is attached with the setting guide for E-mail, the external POP3 or IMAP E-mail account for common Web E-mail service provider ( such as: Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail) can be added.

1. After clicking and selecting the E-mail icon, the produced E-mail setting guide will help you perform the setting;

5 Multi-media
5.1 Music
The included Music App organizes your music files in four views: as Artist, Albums, Songs, Play List and Playing. Select the view from the top of the app to display the contents. You can view and search music using the Artist, Song, or Album views. The Playlist function allows you to create custom playlists of songs. The Playing option shows you the queue of songs that are currently playing.
Note: If you have more than one email account configured, when composing a new message you can choose which account to send it from by clicking on the from address.

5.3 HDMI
HDMI High-definition video interface
The Tablet and the high-definition television are connected by a standard HDMI
cable. This interface supports the picture with highest quality of 1080p resolution ratio.

5.4 Media Browser
The media browser application capable of automatically searching and classifying all photos and video files on the tablet and the SD card and can be used to view and edit photos and to watch videos.
View pictures
1. Click the folder containing the pictures that you want to see.
2. Select the picture you want to see and the system will automatically view in full screen mode.
3. Drag the picture to left or to right to browse the previous or the next picture.
4. Double-click the picture to zoom in or zoom out the picture.

When view the pictures in full screen mode, presses the Menu key to show the menu
options, through which the pictures are edited and set.

Tips: the picture browser is capable of automatic rotation. When the tablet is rotated, the picture will automatically adjust along with the rotation direction.

Video preview and playback
The Media Browser will scan all video files in the Tablet and SD card, and preview the
playable ones. Click on the thumbnail image to play the video files.

6 Internet
Find texts within the webpage
1. While browsing the web, press the Menu key to pop up the menu options.
2.
Click Find on web.
3. Enter the item you want to search.
4. The matched texts are highlighted in green while inputting the characters.
5.
Click left-to-right arrow before the search bar to move to the previous or the next matched word.
Manage bookmarks
Set web page bookmark
1. Go to certain web page in the browser interface.

Click the icon
‘Click here to add a web page as bookmark’
in Fig. 7-2, and a

1. Enter the interface similar to the following picture by clicking the icon ‘Click here to enter the Manage bookmarks’ as in fig. 7-2 in the browser interface.
2. Click the bookmark that you want to open the web page.

1. Enter the interface similar to the following picture just like opening the bookmark in the browser interface.
2. Click and press down the bookmark to open the menu options.

Browse files
Open apps menu to locate the File browser. You can use the file browser to manage, edit and delete the files and folders, or to
create sharing and FTP server to achieve resource sharing.
Cut and copy files
1. In the file browser, press and select the file you want to operate.

Pop up operating menus, including
Cut, Copy, Delete, Rename, Move to, Copy
to, Play music, Select all, Set home directory and Attributes

You can set the Tablet to emit sound when you use the soft keyboard or touch
screen as well as lock the screen.
