Description
The Gyration compact, cordless keyboard has been designed to work with
your computer (MAC and various models of PC).Data transmission between
the keyboard and the RF USB receiver (to be connected to the computer) is
effected by a 2.4 GHz radio signal.
Installation et Synchronisation
1. Install 4 AAA batteries in the keyboard, connecting the poles correctly.
2. Plug the RF receiver into a USB socket in your computer.
3. Start the computer
4. Press the oval Connect key in the receiver.The Connect indicator light
will blink rapidly.The receiver will revert to Normal mode automatically after
15 seconds.
5.While the light is blinking, press the keyboard’s Connect key.The light will
stop blinking, and the keyboard is ready for operation with the RF receiver.
Note : Repeat the procedure for each new Gyration cordless accessory (mouse, additional
keyboard …).

Transport and standby mode
It is not necessary to switch the keyboard off: it puts itself in standby mode if
not in use.There is therefore no radio transmission in this case. However
when the keyboard is being transported, it is preferable to switch it off so as
to not drain the batteries should a key remain jammed on.
Shutdown :
Press the keyboard’s Connect key and hold down for 7 seconds.The
indicator light will blink 3 times, so confirming the keyboard’s shutdown.
Start-Up :
Press the keyboard’s Connect key.The indicator light will come on.
Note : in the event of functional problems, make sure that the keyboard and RF receiver
are properly synchronised. If necessary, repeat steps 4 and 5 above.
Status and Connect Indicator Lights
• In standby mode : off
• During the synchronisation procedure :blinking
• Working : on (keyboard synchronised)
The numeric keypad
To use the numeric keypad, first press the Num Lock key.

The keys in the upper part of the keyboard are dedicated to the use of
certain software (Internet Explorer, CD Player,Media Player, …).

Problem Situations
The keyboard does not function,and no key seems to be active :
• Perform the synchronisation of the keyboard and the receiver (Connect
buttons),
• The keyboard is switched off. Switch it on,
• The batteries are flat. Change them.
The keyboard functions, but not in the normal manner :
• Move any electrical equipment away from the RF receiver. Some types of
equipment cause interference.

Fully functional with IBM-compatible PC’s using Windows 2000, ME, XP or
higher. Partially functional with MAC OS 8.0 and above and with Windows 98.
Uses a USB port.

Description
Le clavier sans fil Gyration est prévu pour fonctionner avec votre ordinateur
(MAC et PC selon modèles). La transmission entre le clavier et le récepteur
RF USB (à connecter à l’ordinateur) s’effectue par signal radio 2,4 GHz.
Installation et Synchronisation
1. Installez 4 piles AAA dans le clavier en respectant les polarités.
2. Branchez le récepteur RF dans une prise USB de votre ordinateur.
3. Mettez en marche l’ordinateur.
4.Appuyez sur la touche ovale Connect du récepteur. Le voyant Connect
clignote rapidement. Le récepteur retourne automatiquement en mode
Normal après 15 secondes.
5. Pendant le clignotement, appuyez sur la touche Connect du clavier. Le
voyant cesse de clignoter, le clavier est prêt à fonctionner avec le récepteur RF.
Note : Répétez la procédure pour chaque nouvel accessoire sans fil Gyration (souris, autre
clavier, …).
