2. Description
TCM-RF-REMOTE 2.4 GHz RF handheld remote controls the on/o and brightness of the luminaire the
TCM-RF-D dimming module it is synced with. Each TCM-RF-REMOTE can support up to 4 groups, with
each group capable of controlling up to 20 TCM-RF-D dimming modules.

3. TCM-RF-REMOTE and TCM-RF-D syncing
1. Determine which luminaire contains the TCM-RF-D dimming module is to sync with the TCM-RF-
REMOTE control.
2. Turn o the AC power to the Luminaire being synced with the TCM-RF-REMOTE control.
3. Hold down one of the `Group On’ buttons. Turn on the AC power at the same time. The luminaire
will ash slowly 4 times.
4. Release the button and wait approximately 5 seconds allowing the module to store the setting.
Press the button to test the TCM-RF-REMOTE to conrm the remote activates the luminaire
containing the TCM-RF-D dimming module. If it does not, retry the steps above.
4. TCM-RF-REMOTE and TCM-RF-D Un-syncing
1. Determine which luminaire the TCM-RF-D dimming module needing to be un-synced with the
TCM-RF-REMOTE control.
2. Turn o the AC power to the Luminaire to be un-synced with the TCM-RF-REMOTE control.
3. Hold down one of the `Group O’ buttons and turn on the AC power at the same time. The
luminaire will ash quickly 7 times.
4. Release the button and wait approximately 5 seconds allowing he module to store the setting.
Press the button to test the TCM-RF-REMOTE to conrm the remote does not activate the luminaire
with the TCM-RF-D dimming module. If it does not, retry the steps above.
5. TCM-RF-REMOTE Function
If the luminaire containing the TCM-RF-D dimming module loses power, the TCM-RF-REMOTE will
not function. When power is restored, the luminaire will turn on to full brightness. Any brightness
levels will have to be manually reentered using the TCM-RF-REMOTE control.
The 2 main buttons at the top of the TCM-RF-REMOTE control controls all luminaires having the
TCM-RF-D dimming module. The 4 buttons in the center controls the brightness levels. Press and
holding a button raises or lowers the brightness levels. Release the button when the desired
brightness level is reached.
The 4 buttons at the bottom of the TCM-RF-REMOTE control the individual luminaire groups.
Selecting an `On’ button of a group turns on the luminaires synced with that group. Selecting an
`OFF’ button of a group turns o only the luminaires synced with that group. Note that the ‘Group all
on’ and ‘Group all o’ buttons control all 4 groups simultaneously.
Any preset brightness levels are restored when the luminaire is turned o/on using the
TCM-RF-REMOTE control.
