ThevoSleepingStar ist ein kindgerechtes Lagerungs- und Therapiesystem, das die nächtliche Versorgung von kranken und
behinderten Kindern erleichtert.
guten Schmerztherapie, zur Entwicklung eines physiologischen Schlafmusters, zur Hemmung von Muskelspannungen

Matratze

Der Bezug ist durch einen eingenähten Reißverschluss leicht abzunehmen und kann gewaschen werden.

Inkontinenzbezug (gummierter Bezug)

• waschbar bei 65 °C • trocknerfest • per Wischdesinfektion zu reinigen

Desinfektion

Zur Desinfektion empfehlen wir zwei vom Robert-Koch-Institut anerkannte Verfahren:

- das fraktionierte Vakuumverfahren (VDV-Verfahren) bis zu einer max. Temperatur von 110 °C.

- das Dampfströmungsverfahren bis zu einer Temperatur von 110 °C.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Eine thermische Behandlung über 110 °C führt zu vorzeitigem Altern und Verformung der

Kunststoffteile und sollte daher nicht durchgeführt werden. Bei chemischen Desinfektionsmitteln unbedingt auf die
Herstellerangaben achten, ob diese für Kunststoff geeignet sind.

Anwendungsrisiken und Kontraindikationen (Gegenanzeigen)

ThevoSleepingStar wurde zur Förderung der Mobilität und Verbesserung der Schlafqualität bei behinderten
oder wahrnehmungsgestörten Kindern entwickelt.

Die Anwendung von ThevoSleepingStar bedarf keiner speziellen Einweisung. Aus dem bisherigen praktischen
Einsatz des Produktes und aus umfangreichen Tests sind uns keinerlei Probleme im Umgang mit dem Produkt
bekannt geworden.

Hinweis: Die speziell für die Bedürfnisse von Kindern entwickelte Matratze ist bis zu einem Körpergewicht

von 60 kg geeignet. Bei einer Belastung von mehr als 60 kg empfehlen wir ein Bewegungsbett für Erwachsene.

Anwendung

Das Produkt ist in jedem Bett einsetzbar. Legen Sie ThevoSleepingStar mit der blauen Seite nach oben auf den vor­handenen Lattenrost oder die vorhandene Unterkonstruktion Ihres Bettes.

Wichtiger Hinweis: ThevoSleepingStar kann auch ohne vorhandenen Lattenrost genutzt werden. Dann muss an

den Längsseiten jeweils eine Auflagefläche von mind. 13 cm Breite gewährleistet sein.

Achtung: Bei Betten mit Seitengittern müssen gegebenenfalls Seitengittererhöhungen genutzt werden.

Bei sachgerechtem Gebrauch können Risiken bei der Anwendung ausgeschlossen werden.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Es muss bei der Versorgung darauf geachtet werden, dass das Bewegungsbett nach dem entspre­chenden Körpergewicht des Kindes ausgewählt wird.

deshalb alle im Zusammenhang mit ThevoSleepingStar ausgehändigten Belege sorgfältig auf. Die Garantie umfasst alle
Ansprüche, die aufgrund von Arbeits- und Materialfehlern entstehen, welche die Funktion beeinträchtigen. Ausgenommen
sind Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung sowie natürlichen Verschleiß entstehen.

Wichtiger Hinweis: ThevoSleepingStar ist autoklavierbar und kann für den Wiedereinsatz genutzt werden. Nach
jedem Nutzerwechsel sollte ThevoSleepingStar nach einem der o.g. Verfahren gereinigt und desinfiziert werden.
Eine Wartung durch den Hersteller ist nicht notwendig.

Usage

The product is compatible for use with every type of bed. Lay ThevoSleepingStar with the red side facing upwards on
the existing bed slats or bed base.

Important hint: ThevoSleepingStar can also be used without a pre-existing slatted frame. In this case the supporting
surfaces along the sides of the bed base must be at least 13 cm (

Attention: Beds with side-rails may require additional side-rail height extenders.

- the steam flow method up to a temperature of 110 °C (230 °F)

Important hint: A thermal treatment over 110 °C (230 °F) causes a premature ageing and deformation of the plastic

parts and should therefore be avoided. Please make sure when using chemical disinfectants that they are
suitable for plastic.

Application risks and contraindications

ThevoSleepingStar was designed to support perception and improve the quality of sleep of children with perception
and behavior disorders.

The use of ThevoSleepingStar does not require any special instructions. For an optimal therapeutic outcome, the system
needs to be adapted to the individual needs of the child. After practical use and conducting several tests, we are unaware
of any problems associated with the use of this product. When used properly, there are no known risks.

Impotant Note: Make sure to select the mobility bed appropriate for the body weight of the child.
Thevo SleepingStar for a body weight of up tp 60 kg / 132.3 lbs. At the threshold of 60 kg/132.3 lbs (+/- 2kg / 4.4
lbs) a ThevoautoActiv must be used. We are happy to advise you.

Warranty conditions

The company Thomashilfen takes full responsibility for the quality of the product supplied. The highest production
standards are used in the selection and processing of materials. All ThevoSleepingStar mobility beds are subjected to a
thorough final inspection. Thomashilfen offers you a warranty of 24 months. Please retain all relevant ThevoSleepingStar
receipts. The warranty covers all claims arising from manufacturing or material defects that affect product function.
Damage arising from inappropriate use and natural wear and tear is excluded.

Important hint: ThevoSleepingStar is autoclavable and may be re-used. ThevoSleepingStar should be cleaned and
disinfected using one of the cleaning methods stated on page 7 and 8 with every change of user. Servicing by the
manufacturer is not necessary.

Troubles du sommeil dus à la maladie chez les enfants handicapés

ThevoSleepingStar est un système thérapeutique de couchage susceptible de faciliter les soins à donner la nuit aux
enfants malades et handicapés. Il peut être utilisé pour favoriser la faculté de perception des enfants handicapés et un bon
traitement de la douleur, pour développer un rythme de sommeil physiologique, pour inhiber les tensions musculaires et
pour la prophylaxie et le traitement du décubitus.

Domaines d’utilisation:

• la favorisation de la faculté de perception, de mouvement et de développement

• le traitement des troubles du sommeil dus à la maladie chez les enfants handicapés

• la prévention des contractures

• l’inhibition des spasticités

• la favorisation du traitement contre la douleur

• le maintien de la morphologie

• l’encouragement de l‘architecture physiologique du sommeil

Méthodes de désinfection et conseils de nettoyage

Matelas

Les housses sont dotées de fermetures à glissière, elles sont donc faciles à enlever pour le lavage.

Housse incontinence (housse caoutchoutée)

• lavable à 65 °C • passe au sèche-linge • peut se nettoyer au désinfectant passé au chiffon

Désinfection

Pour la désinfection, nous conseillons deux procédés reconnus par l’institut Robert-Koch:

- le procédé du vide fractionné (procédé de désinfection à vapeur sous vide) jusqu’à une

température maximale de 110 °C.

- le procédé à diffusion de vapeur jusqu’à une température de 110 °C.

Indications importantes: un traitement thermique au-delà de 110 °C provoque le vieillissement prématuré et la

déformation des pièces en matière plastique. Il ne devrait donc pas être pratiqué. Si vous utilisez des désinfectants
chimiques, tenez impérativement comptes des indications du fabricant, renseignez-vous si ces produits convien­nent aux matières plastiques.

Tableau clinique:

Douleurs, coma éveillé, coma, traumatisme cérébro-crânien, spina-bifida, parésie et autres tableaux cliniques, troubles
oncologiques, dermatoses génétiques.

Il ne faut aucune initiation particulière pour l’utilisation de ThevoSleepingStar. En raison de son application pratique
et des nombreux essais pratiqués, nous ne connaissons aucun problème d‘utilisation de ce produit.

Conseils importants: le lit mobile doit impérativement être choisi en fonction du poids du corps de l‘enfant.
Les risques liés à son utilisation peuvent être exclus à condition que le produit soit employé conformément à son

objectif d’utilisation.

et de matériel préjudiciables à sa fonction. En sont exclus tous les dommages dus à un traitement inapproprié ainsi
que l’usure naturelle du produit.

Indication importante: ThevoSleepingStar est autoclavable et peut être réutilisé pour un autre patient. A chaque
changement d’utilisateur, le ThevoSleepingStar devrait être nettoyé et désinfecté à l’aide d’un des procédés mentionnés
ci-dessus. Une maintenance par le fabricant n’est pas nécessaire.

Utilisation

Le produit peut être utilisé pour tous les lits. Posez le lit ThevoSleepingStar avec le côté rouge orienté vers le haut sur
le sommier ou la base de votre lit.

Remarque importante: le lit ThevoSleepingStar peut aussi être utilisé sans sommier. Prévoyez dans ce cas une sur­face d’appui supplémentaire d’au moins 13 cm sur les côtés longitudinaux.

Attention: pour les lits à grilles latérales, prévoyez, le cas échéant, des grilles rehaussées.
