Cut-out and Mounting Procedure
1. Select desired counter top surface. Surface must be between 3/8” and 1-7/8” thick and have underneath clearance of at least 17-5/8” (see Figure 1).

2. On the desired counter top surface, cut a hole 3-3/4” in diameter. Allow at least 1-7/8” between the side of the hole and the edge of the at counter top surface (see Figure 2). Locate the hole at least 10” away from stove top or any other heated surfaces.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to the surface, only a qualied
professional should cut the hole in a non-wood surface such as marble or granite. To ensure that the water seal will operate correctly, the unit should only be mounted on a smooth counter top surface, free from joints, seams or rough textures.
3. Before lowering unit into the prepared hole, remove rubber washer and locking ring by turning counterclockwise (see Figure 3). Retain rubber washer and locking ring for step 5..

Lower KPR unit into the hole until the mounting collar lip is ush with
the counter top surface all the way around – this will ensure a good watertight seal (see Figure 4). Orient the receptacle as desired.

5. With the rubberized compression lip upwards, place locking ring onto collar. Identify & align arrows on collar and locking ring to ensure the thread is engaged properly. Turn the locking ring clockwise (viewed from below) to tighten. Make sure locking ring with rubber washer is compressed tightly on underside of mounting surface (see Figure 5). Tighten set screws.
6. Connect HOT (black), Neutral (white) and Ground (green) conductors in a junction box according to national electrical code and all local codes (see Figure 6).
