INSTRUCTION SHEET

1. Strip insulation from cables to allow for clearance of
taps. DO NOT nick the strands.
2. Insert the cable(s) into the corresponding groove(s).
MAIN and BRANCH(ES).
3. Secure the cables at either side of the connector by
using the TY-RAP
®
cable ties enclosed.

Main: 250 kcmils - 2 AWG STR Cu 4/0 - 2 Flex
Branch: 8-14 AWG Cu & Flex
4. Install the proper die in the crimping tool.
INSTALLING TOOL: TBM15, TBM15CR-LI, and TBM15I
with 15CA80RCH Purple Die.
Observe the matching
"color code" on die and connector.
5. Locate the connector properly in the die and crimp
as indicated on the appropiate die.
NOTE: It is not neccessary to ll each of the branch
slots with wire to achieve an acceptable crimp, only the
main and one of the branch slots need to be lled.
