1. Strip insulation from cables to allow for clearance of taps. DO NOT nick the strands.
2. Insert the cable(s) into the corresponding groove(s). MAIN and BRANCH(ES).
3. Secure the cables at either side of the connector by using the TY-RAP® cable ties enclosed.
4. Install the proper die in the crimping tool (refer to label). Note the matching “color code” on die and connector.
5. Locate the connector properly in the dies and crimp.
NOTE: It is not necessary to fi ll each of the branch slots with wire to achieve an acceptable crimp, only the main and one of the branch slots need to be fi lled.
