CEILING FAN and FIXTURE BOX MOUNTING
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CATALOG NUMBERS
CFB-12, CFB-16, CFB-16F, CFBSO-612, CFBSO-858, CFB-612 and CFB-858
WARNING
FAN MOUNTING SCREWS, FURNISHED
WITH CEILING BOX, MUST BE USED.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Position and press box on joist.
2) Fasten #12 x 5/8” preinstalled screw near center of box.
NOT REQUIRED FOR CFBSO-612 and CFBSO-858.
3) Drill 1/8" diameter pilot holes through the two oval slots.
4) Pull out the two #12 x 2" long screws, and use them to
install Fan or Fixture bracket through oval slots, into drilled
holes.
5) Mount Fan or Fixture and make the electrical connections in
accordance with local electrical codes and instructions
provided with Fan or Fixture.

will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product. Misuse, misapplication or
modication of Thomas & Betts Products immediately voids all warranties.

CONCERNING THIS PRODUCT, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, WHICH ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED. LIABILITY FOR BREACH
OF THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO COST OF REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL
THOMAS & BETTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
