INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

numbers on each cut ring. Match the conductor
Cut Ring #1 #14 to #10 (S/L)
Cut Ring #2 #8 to #4 (*.24 to .38)
Cut Ring #3 #2 to #1/0 (*.38 to .54)
Cut Ring #4 #2/0 to #250 (*.53 to .78)
Cut Ring #5 #300 to #250 (*.73 to .98)
size being installed to the correct ring.
Cut off the tip of sleeve up to the selected ring.

The proper cut will leave the conductor range
required showing on the sleeve.
Pencil the cable insulation.

Clean the cable before installing the rocket sleeve.

cable with silicone grease. Hold the cable at an
angle to the opening. Twist the rocket sleeve
while pushing it on to the cable.
Compress the lug on to the cable.

Bolt the terminal to the bus.

Slide the rocket sleeve over the lug and on to the

shoulder of the bus until the rocket butts against
the rubber of the connector bar.
