READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING!

DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT SUPPLYING POWER
TO THE OUTLET PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
CAUTION
TO PREVENT INJURY, THE HANGER MUST BE SECURELY
INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE MOUNTING OR CONNECTING A CEILING FAN OR
LIGHT FIXTURE.
AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE HANGER, BE SURE TO
FOLLOW ALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE CEILING
FAN OR LIGHT FIXTURES.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Insert bar hanger through old outlet box
hole in the ceiling drywall as shown.

2) Rotate the square tube portion by hand
until the end plates contact the wood
joists. Continue to rotate until the square
bar will no longer rotate.

as the spurs engage into the joists.

3) Assemble (2) screws through top of
ange of the hanger bracket and tighten
one locknut over each screw, creating a
hanger bracket assembly.
4) Place hanger bracket assembly over
square tube portion of hanger bar.

5) Place outlet box over the two screws.
6) Assemble one locknut over each screw
on the inside of outlet box.
7) Tighten locknuts with appropriate tool,
locknuts must be tight.

MAX LIGHT FIXTURE = 50 LBS.
MAX CEILING FAN = 35 LBS.
INSTALL THIS BAR HANGER SUPPORT ONLY IN
ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL
BUILDING AND ELECTRICAL CODES.
8) Install fan or xture according to
instructions provided with respective
product. Only use #10-32 mounting
screws with lockwashers and sleeve for
end of screw supplied when installing
the fan or xture.

workmanship for a period of two (2) years following the date of
purchase. Upon prompt notication of any warranted defect, Thomas &
Betts will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product. Misuse,
misapplication or modication of Thomas & Betts Products immediately
voids all warranties.

MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
WHICH ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED. LIABILITY FOR BREACH
OF THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO COST OF REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT, AND UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THOMAS & BETTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
