The 1535AFB--- 1 basicbracket providesa means to supportboth theterminator andcable toa horizontal mounting surface. This
bracket will accommodate cables with outside diameters from .750” to 2.000”.
Installation Instructions.
DANGER
All apparatus must be de--energized during installation
or removal of part(s).
All apparatus must be installed and operated in
accordance with individual user, local, and national work
rules. These instructions do not attempt to provide for
every possible contingency.
Do not touch or move energized products.
Excess distortion of the assembled product may result in
its failure.
Inspect parts for damage, rating and compatibility with
mating parts.
This product should be installed only by competent
personnel trained in good safetypractices involving high
voltage electrical equipment. These instructions are not
intended as a substitute for adequate training or
experience in such safety practices.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in damage
to the product and serious or fatal injury.
If this product is supplied with a protective shipping
cover(s), remove this shipping cover(s) and replace with
the appropriate HV insulated cap(s) or connector(s)
before submerging or energizing the circuit.

STEP 1
Install pole bracket, crossarm bracket or riser pole bracket,
etc., if used (see separate instructions packed with each
item).
STEP 2
Attach 1535AFB--- 1 to pole bracket or other mounting
surface. Arrow on 1535AFB ---1 must be pointing up.

Remove protective sheet form adhesive surface.

STEP 4
Place cable (including concentric neutral wires) against
adhesive surface. Allow sufficient length for installing
terminator as indicated in the instructions packed with the
terminator you are using.
STEP 5
Wind the tie wrap 1 ---1/2 to 2 turnsaround thetop tiehorn and
then around the cable as shown.
STEP 6
Fasten a snap hose clamp on the middle of each tie horn. Cut
off excess wrap.
IMPORTANT: When using concentric neutral cable, the
neutral wires must beunder thetie wrap. Do not unravel them
and tie off below the bracket.

STEP 7
Install terminator according to instructions packed with it.
STEP 8
The concentric neutral form thecable(s), the electrostatic drain wire(s) from the terminator(s) and themounting bracket must be grounded.
The mounting bracket is provided with a mounting hole. Bolt for attachment of suitable grounding connector(s) (not supplied).
