Mit dem Kauf Ihres neuen THOMAS TWIN AQUATHERM haben
Sie sich für ein exclusives Produkt entschieden, das neue Maß­stäbe in der Haushaltsreinigung setzt und Schluß macht mit
nassen und schmutzigen Händen beim Putzen.

THOMAS TWIN AQUATHERM: Ein außergewöhnlicher Hoch­leistungs-Waschsauger mit souveräner Technologie, der dafür
sorgt, daß das Reinigen von Hartböden, Teppich böden oder
Pol stermöbeln jetzt schneller, zeit sparender, gründlicher und
müheloser wird.

Teileidentifizierung

In seiner Funktion als Waschsauger eignet er sich unter der
Zugabe von heißem Wasser besonders zur Beseitigung von Fett
und Schmutz auf Hartböden und Fliesen und beim Einsatz zur
Grund reinigung Ihrer Teppichböden und Polstermöbel zeigt er
seine ganze Stärke.

1 .2 Wichtige Hinweise

Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig
durch. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit,
Gebrauch und Wartung des Thomas Twin. Bewah­ren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig auf und
geben Sie diese ggf. an Nachbesitzer weiter. Der
Hersteller haftet nicht, wenn die nachstehenden
Anweisungen nicht beachtet werden.

 THOMAS TWIN dient ausschließlich der Nutzung im Haushalt

durch Erwachsene.

 Das Gerät auf keinen Fall in Betrieb nehmen, wenn:
– die Netzanschlußleitung beschädigt ist ,

– es sichtbare Schäden aufweist,
– es einmal heruntergefallen sein sollte.

 Die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild muss mit der

Versorgungsspannung übereinstimmen. Absicherung mind.
16 A. Nicht an Mehrfachsteckdose oder Adapterstecker
an schließen.

 Vorsicht! Beim Arbeiten mit heißem Wasser – Verbrühungs-

gefahr!

 Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung nach den örtlichen Vor-

schriften.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nie in Räumen, in denen feuerge-

fährliche Stoffe lagern oder sich Gase gebildet haben.

 Lassen Sie das Gerät im eingeschalteten Zustand nie unbe-

aufsichtigt und achten Sie darauf, daß Kinder nicht am Gerät
spielen.

 Besondere Vorsicht ist geboten, wenn Sie Treppenstufen

reinigen. Stellen Sie sicher, daß das Gerät eine feste Stellung
auf dem Boden der Treppe hat und sorgen Sie dafür, daß
der Schlauch nicht über seine bestehende Länge hinaus
an gespannt wird. Stellen Sie TWIN nie hochkant auf

(Flüssigkeit kann auslaufen).

 Filter in regelmäßigen Intervallen wechseln, wie in Ihrer Bedie-

nungsbroschüre angegeben.

 Benutzen Sie TWIN nicht für Trockensaugen, wenn der Staub-

beutel und der Microfilter nicht eingelegt sind.

 Stellen Sie sich nicht auf das Gerät und überdehnen oder knik-

ken Sie das Schlauchsystem nicht.

 Achtung! Diese Geräteausführung ist nicht zum Absaugen

gesundheitsgefährdender Stoffe sowie lösungsmittelhaltiger
Flüssigkeiten wie z.B: Lackverdünnung, Öl, Benzin und ätzen­den Flüssigkeiten geeignet.

 Düsen und Rohre dürfen (im Betriebszustand) nicht in Kopfnä-

he kommen, z.B. Gefahr für Augen und Ohren.

 Nie den Reinigungsstrahl auf Menschen oder Tiere, auf Steck-

dosen oder elektrische Geräte richten.

 Personen mit empfindlicher Haut sollten direkten Kontakt mit

Reinigungslösungen vermeiden, bei Kontakt mit Schleim häuten
(Auge, Mund etc..) ist sofort mit viel Wasser nach zuspülen.

 Nach dem Naß-/Feuchtbetrieb Behälter entleeren. Chemi-

kalien (Reinigungsmittel etc.) gehören nicht in die Hände von
Kindern.

 Nur bei Verwendung der Original-Thomas-Reinigungsmittel

können Gerätefunktionen und Reinigungswirkung gewähr­leistet werden.

 Niemals den Stecker am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen.

 Sorgen Sie dafür, daß die Netzanschlußleitung weder Hitze

noch chemischen Flüssigkeiten ausgesetzt ist und nicht über
scharfe Kanten oder Oberflächen gezogen wird.

 In Naßräumen kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.

 Vor Reinigung / Pflege / Befüllen / Entleeren sowie

bei Störungen, alle Schalter ausschalten und Netz­stecker herausziehen.

 Gerät nicht im Freien stehenlassen und keiner direkten Feuch-

tigkeit aussetzen oder in Flüssigkeiten eintauchen und nicht
direkt neben Heizaggregaten aufbewahren.

 Schäden am THOMAS TWIN, am Zubehör oder an der Netz-

anschlußleitung (Sonderleitung erforderlich) niemals selbst
reparieren, sondern nur durch eine autorisierte Kundendienst­station instand setzen lassen, denn Veränderungen am Gerät
können Ihre Gesundheit gefährden. Sorgen Sie dafür, daß
nur Orginal-Ersatzteile und Zubehör verwendet werden.

 Entsorgen Sie THOMAS TWIN nach den örtlichen Vorschriften

und schneiden Sie vorher den (gezogenen) Netzstecker ab.

 Beachten Sie außerdem die unter den Einzel-

kapiteln aufgeführten “Informationen und Vor­sichtsmaßregeln für den Gebrauch“.

 Nutzen Sie den vollen Gegenwert durch richtigen

Gebrauch.

 Saugen Sie keinen Tonerstaub auf! Toner, der zum Beispiel bei

Druckern oder Kopiergeräten verwendet wird, kann elektrisch
leitfähig sein! Außerdem wird der Toner vom Filtersystem des
Staubsaugers evtl. nicht vollständig ausgefiltert und kann so
über das Sauggebläse wieder in die Raumluft gelangen.

3.0 Allgemeine Gerätevorbereitung

Saugschlauch anschließen

A Anschlussstück des Saugschlauches in den Gerätestutzen

stecken und bis zum Einrasten nach hinten drehen.

Das Teleskoprohr kann durch Betätigen des Schiebers auf

die gewünschte Länge verstellt werden.

Saugschlauch abnehmen

Taste am Anschlussstück drücken. Anschlussstück eine 1⁄4 Dre-

hung zur Seite drehen und herausziehen.

Parkstellung

H Saugrohr komplett mit Düse und Schlauch in die Saug-

rohrhalterung (7) an der Gehäuserückseite einhängen. Bei
Überlastung rastet diese aus.

Automatische Kabelaufwicklung

K Durch Betätigen der Taste (3) wird das Anschlußkabel (63)

automatisch aufgerollt.

4.0 Staubsaugen (Trockensaugen)

4.1 Informationen und Vorsichtsmaß regeln für
den Gebrauch

 Benutzen Sie den TWIN AQUATHERM nicht für Tro-

ckensaugen, wenn das AQUAFILTER-System nicht
entsprechend der Ge brauchsanleitung montiert
ist. Das Gerät kann sonst Schaden nehmen.

 Saugen Sie im Trockensaugbetrieb keine Flüssig-

keiten auf. Lesen Sie dazu Kap. 5.3 „Inbetrieb­nahme Naßsaugen”.

 Beachten Sie außerdem die unter Kapitel 1 .2

abgedruckten “Sicherheitshinweise“.

 Saugen Sie keine großen Mengen von Feinstaub,

z.B. Kakaopulver, Mehl usw.

4.2 Inbetriebnahme Trockensaugen

Wenn das Gerät zuvor für Naß saugen /Waschsau­gen verwendet wurde, sind alle Hinweise in diesem
Kapitel zu beachten.

Ab Werk ist Ihr TWIN AQUATHERM jedoch für Trocken­saugen bereits ausgestattet – lesen Sie in diesem Fall
bitte ab Punkt 

H Gehäusedeckel (1) durch Anheben der Deckelent riegelung

(4) öffnen.

J Schmutzwassertank kpl. (24) am Tragebügel herausnehmen

und evtl. eingesetzten Anti schwapp einsatz (22) entnehmen.

I HEPA-Filter (20) in das Gerät einsetzen.

D AQUA-Filter kpl. (42) hinter die beiden Führungsrippen des

Schmutzwasserbehälter (24) bis auf Anschlag einsetzen.
Darauf achten, daß die umlaufende Dichtung des AQUA­Filters (42) an der Innenseite des Schmutzwasserbehälters

(24) anliegt und der Naßfilter (23) montiert ist.
1 Liter klares Wasser in den Schmutzwassertank (24) füllen.
Befüllten Schmutzwasserbehälter (24) in das Gerät einsetzen

und den Tragebügel zur Seite klappen.
Darauf achten, daß der Tragebügel nicht die Gehäusedich-

tung überdeckt.
Gehäusedeckel (1) langsam schließen, damit Dichtungen

und Anschlüsse am AQUA-Filter (42) nicht beschädigt wer-

den.

Nach dem Trockensaugen

Aus Hygienegründen das AQUAFILTER-Sys tem nach

Wenn Verunreinigungen und Flusen den Ansaugfilter (44,
Abb. E) zugesetzt haben, so kann dieser zum leichteren
Reinigen auch abgenommen werden; danach Ansaugfilter
wieder montieren.

Reinigung des HEPA-Filters

Ihr TWIN AQUATHERM verfügt über einen hochwertigen
HEPA-Filter, der bei Bedarf und je nach Art Ihres Hausstaubes
mehrmals gereinigt werden kann. Dadurch kann das Gerät
wieder die volle Saugkraft erreichen.

Reinigung je nach Gebrauch und nachlassender Saugkraft (spä­testens jedes 1⁄2 Jahr) vornehmen.

I HEPA-Filter (20) aus dem Gerät nehmen und auf einer

festen Unterlage ausklopfen.

Ist die Verschmutzung stärker, kann der Filter auch mit kla-

rem Wasser, ohne Reinigungsmittel, abgespült und anschlie­ßend ausgeklopft werden.

Keine Bürste zum Reinigen verwenden. Den

Filter vor dem Wiedereinsetzen gut trocknen
lassen.

B Gerät am Geräte-Ein-/Aus-Schalter (14) ein schalten.

C Mit der Saugkraftregulierung (Nebenluftschieber) (29) läßt

sich die Saugkraft verringern. Nebenluftschieber geschlos-

sen = volle Saugkraft, Nebenluftschieber offen = verringer-

te Saugkraft.
Ein halb geöffneter Nebenluftschieber erzielt auf Teppich-

böden die beste Wasserfilterwirkung und verhindert ein

„Festsaugen“ der Düse.
Um eine optimale Filterwirkung zu erzielen, empfehlen wir,

nach ca. 40–60 Minuten Dauerbetrieb oder dann, wenn

sich sehr viele Wassertropfen an der Deckelunterseite zei-

gen, den AQUA-Filter kurz mit klarem Wasser auszuspülen

und das Wasser im Schmutzwasserbehälter zu wechseln.

Beim Reinigen des HEPA-Filters (20) die Filterlamel­len nicht be schädigen.

Wenn sich durch das Reinigen des HEPA-Filters die Saugkraft
des Gerätes nicht wesentlich erhöht, sollte der Filter gegen einen
neuen ausgetauscht werden.

5.0 Sprühextrahieren (Waschsaugen) / Naßsaugen von Hartflächen u. Fliesen bzw. Teppichböden u. Polster

5.1 Informationen und Vorsichtsmaßregeln

 Vergewissern Sie sich, daß alles, was Sie naß

reinigen wollen, auch dafür geeignet ist.

 Keine Parkettböden reinigen (Feuchtigkeit kann ein-

dringen und den Boden beschädigen).

 Achtung! Benzin, Verdünnung, Heizöl, usw. können

durch Verwirbeln mit der Saugluft explosive Dämpfe und
Gemische bilden.

 Azeton, Säuren und Lösungsmittel können die am Gerät ver-

wendeten Materialien angreifen. Putz- und Schmutz wasser
können unbedenklich aufgesaugt werden.

 Nach dem Naßsaugen oder Sprühextrahieren den Schmutz-

wasserbehälter und alle verwendeten Teile reinigen und
trocknen lassen.

 Niemals ohne Schmutzwasserbehälter Flüssig-

keiten aufsaugen oder sprühextrahieren.

 Ihr THOMAS TWIN ist nicht dafür geeignet, größere Flüs-

sigkeitsmengen aus Behältnissen oder Becken ab zusaugen.

 Vor jeder Teppich-Naßreinigung ist die gesamte Fläche

gründlich zu saugen.

Keine zarten, handgewebten oder farbunechten

Teppiche naßreinigen.

Zur Prüfung geben Sie etwas Reinigungsmittellösung auf

einen weißen Lappen und reiben Sie diesen an einer weni­ger gut sichtbaren Stelle auf den Teppich. Zeigen sich auf
dem Lappen keine Farbspuren, kann von einer Farbechtheit
ausgegangen werden. Im anderen Fall darf der Teppich
nicht naß gereinigt werden.

Haben Sie Zweifel, wenden Sie sich diesbezüglich an einen

Teppichfachhändler.

Wenn der Teppich zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt sham-

pooniert wurde, kann es bei erstmaligem Gebrauch des
THOMAS TWIN zu stärkerer Schaumbildung im Schmutz­wasserbehälter kommen. Um weitere Schaumbildung
zu ver meiden, geben Sie

⁄2 Tasse Essig in den Schmutz-

wasserbehälter.

Falls Schaum aus dem Luftauslaß austreten sollte, schalten

Sie das Gerät sofort ab und entleeren den Schmutzwasser­behälter.

Erhöhte Schaumbildung ist nach einmaliger Grundreini-

gung mit dem THOMAS ProTex Reinigungskonzentrat aus­geschlossen, da dieses mit einem speziellen Schaumstop
ausgerüstet ist.

Solange der Teppich noch feucht ist, sollten Sie ihn nicht

begehen.

Während des Reinigens und danach sollte der Raum gut

belüftet werden, um eine rasche Trocknung zu ermögli­chen.

 Achtung! Die Pumpe nie ohne Flüssigkeit be treiben.

 Beachten Sie außerdem die “Wichtigen Hin-

weise“ unter Kapitel 1.2.

dichtung nicht überdeckt.

G Schwimmer (59) im Schmutzwasserbehälter (24) stets sauber

und gangbar halten. Er unterbricht das Ansaugen, wenn
der Schmutzwasserbehälter voll ist.

K Frischwassertank zum Befüllen entnehmen (senkrecht nach

oben herausziehen), oder einfach im Gerät direkt befüllen,
dazu Frischwassertank-Deckel abheben.

Beim Befüllen darauf achten, daß keine Verunreini-

gungen in den Frischwassertank gelangen, um die
Funktion des Verschluß ventils nicht zu stören.

Mit Reinigungskonzentrat und Wasser bis zur Griffflasche

auffüllen (max. 2,4 Liter).

Für die Teppichreinigung empfehlen wir das THOMAS

ProTex Reinigungskonzentrat.

Anwendung und Dosierung siehe Etikett der

Reinigungskonzentratflasche.

Handwarmes Wasser (max. 30 °C) verwenden.

L Absperrventil (25) in die Aufnahme am Saugrohr (34) schie-

ben. Reinigungsmittelschlauch (26) mittels 4 Kunststoff clips
(33) am Saugschlauch (28) befestigen.

B Den Reinigungsmittelschlauch (26) in die Schnellkupplung (8)

fest eindrücken, bis dieser einrastet.

Zum Lösen Taste an Schnellkupplung (8) drücken.

(64) am Absperrventil (25) ansetzen und durch Drehen zur
Verriegelung bringen. Anschließend den Reinigungsmittel­schlauch (32) mit den 2 kleineren Kunststoffclipsen (40) am
Saugrohr (34) befestigen.

K Netzstecker (63) aus dem Gerät herausziehen und

an schließen.

Fensterreinigung

Den Fensterdüsenadapter auf die Teppich-Sprühdüse aufschie­ben.

Mit diesem System können Sie Ihre Fenster- und Glasflächen
reinigen und im gleichen Arbeitsgang trocknen.

M Den Hebel des Absperrventils (25) drücken, bis Reini-

gungsflüssigkeit austritt und die aufliegende Düse in gera­der Bahn über den Boden ziehen. Am Ende einer Bahn
oder bei Unterbrechungen den Ventilhebel loslassen, um
den Sprühstrahl zu stoppen. Wenn die aufgesprühte Flüs­sigkeit abgesaugt ist, die Düse anheben und mit leichter
Überlappung eine neue Bahn beginnen. So kann Streifen
für Streifen die gesamte Fläche behandelt werden.

Sollten auf den gereinigten Bahnen noch Flüssigkeitsspuren

zurückbleiben, können diese Stellen ohne zu Sprühen noch­mals abgesaugt werden.

Stark verschmutzte Stellen extra einsprühen und das Reini-

gungsmittel einige Minuten einwirken lassen.

Achten Sie darauf nicht zu viel Flüssigkeit zu verteilen,

weil hierdurch Wellen oder Beulen im Teppich entstehen
können, die sich erst nach längerem Trocknungsvorgang
wieder zurückbilden.

Damit bei Arbeitsunterbrechung ein Zurücklaufen der im

Saugrohr befindlichen Flüssigkeit vermieden wird, Saug ­rohr und -schlauch noch bei laufendem Motor einige
Sekunden schräg nach oben halten. Erst danach das Gerät
ausschalten.

Schmutzwasserbehälter entleeren

Hinweis!

Um ein automatisches Abschalten des Gerätes zu vermeiden,
Schmutzwasserbehälter entleeren, wenn eine komplette Reini­gungsmittelfüllung aus dem Frischwassertank aufgebraucht ist.

B Bei Nichtbeachtung des o.g. Hinweises unterbricht der

Schwimmer im Schmutzwasserbehälter automatisch das
Ansaugen, wenn der Schmutzwasserbehälter gefüllt ist.
(Deutlich höhere Drehzahl des Motors wird hörbar).

Gerät am Ein-/Aus-Schalter (14) ausschalten und Netz-

stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

J

Gehäusedeckel öffnen und Schmutzwasserbehälter (24) am
Bügel (61) aus dem Gerät heben und entleeren. Befreien Sie
Schmutzwasserbehälter, Anti schwappeinsatz (22), Schwimmer
(59) und Naßfilter (23) nach dem Entleeren von groben Ver­unreinigungen und Flusen, bevor Sie weiterarbeiten.

I Spritzwasser im Saugraum (58), falls erforderlich, mit

weichem Tuch abtrocknen.

Polsterreinigung

Zur Reinigung von Polstermöbeln, Autositzen o.ä. verwenden

Sie die Polstersprühdüse (38). Diese auf den Handgriff (29)
montieren und das Absperrventil (25) aufschieben. Durch
Drehen der Kupplung (66) den Reinigungsmittelschlauch am
Absperrventil befestigen.

Achten Sie bei Polstern darauf, daß nicht zuviel Flüssigkeit

aufgetragen wird, da je nach Unterbau mit einer längeren
Trocknungszeit zu rechnen ist.

Mit der Arbeit beginnen

Bei Kaltwaschen kann sofort mit der Arbeit begonnen

werden, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (14) auf volle
Saugleistung einstellen und die Sprühmittelpumpe über
den Wippenschalter (13) einschalten. Bei Heißwaschen
schalten Sie zusätzlich die Heizung über den Wippenschal­ter (12) ein.

An der Sprühdüse tritt heißes Wasser aus.

5.3. Inbetriebnahme Naßsaugen

Mit THOMAS TWIN können Sie verschüttete, ungefährliche Flüs­sigkeiten auf Wasserbasis (z.B. Wasser, Kaffee o.ä.) aufsaugen.

Vorgehensweise siehe Kapitel 5.2. bis J .

Wählen Sie dann die gewünschte Düse, die Sie auf das Saugrohr
bzw. den Handgriff aufstecken und schalten Sie das Gerät über
den Ein-/Ausschalter (14) ein.

Es empfiehlt sich maximal 3 Liter Flüssigkeit auf zu­nehmen und dann den Schmutzwasserbehälter zu
entleeren.

Siehe Kapitel 5.2 ”Schmutzwasserbehälter ent­leeren”.

5.4 Wartung und Pflege / Nach der Naßreinigung

Netzstecker ziehen.

K Frischwassertank (6) entnehmen und entleeren.

J Schmutzwasserbehälter (24) am Bügel (61) aus dem Gerät

nehmen, entleeren und reinigen. Bei hartnäckigen Ver­schmutzungen ist warmes Seifenwasser empfehlenswert,
keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder Lösungsmittel ver­wenden.

Antischwappeinsatz (22) sowie Naßfilter (23) können zum

Reinigen entnommen werden. Naßfilter (23) bei Bedarf
erneuern. (Nachfolgebedarf Art.-Nr. 195198).

Hinweis!
K Zur Pflege der Pumpe und Ventile den Frisch-

6.0 Umwelthinweise

Den Saugraum (58), falls erforderlich, und die Unterseite

des Gehäusedeckels mit einem weichen Tuch reinigen und
trocknen.

Um das Gehäuse des Gerätes zu pflegen, verwenden Sie bitte
ein feuchtes, weiches Tuch.

Keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder Lösungsmittel verwen­den.

Zur Aufrechterhaltung der Sicherheit des Gerätes

THOMAS TWIN AQUATHERM is an extraordinary high performance
wash vacuum cleaner with perfect technology which ensures that now
cleaning of hard floors, carpet floors or upholstery is quickler, more time­saving, more thorough and easier.

In its function as a wash vacuum cleaner it is, when adding hot water,
especially suitable for removing grease spots and dirt on hard floors and
tiles, and during use for basic cleaning it shows its real power.

Please read carefully these instructions for use for becoming quik­kly acquainted with your appliance and for being able to use its full

1 .2 Important information

Please read these Instructions for Use carefully. They
contain important information on safety, use and main­tenance of the THOMAS TWIN. Keep the Instructions for
Use in a safe place and pass them on to any subsequent
owners. The manufacturer will accept no liability, should
the instructions below fail to be observed.

 THOMAS TWIN is intended solely for use in the household by

adults.

 The appliance must never be started, if:
– the mains lead is damaged,

– damage is visible on the appliance,
– it has fallen over.

 The voltage data on the appliance’s rating plate must conform to

the power supply. Do not connect to multiple sockets or adaptor
plugs.

 Caution! Danger of scalding during working with hot

water.

 Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the local regulations.

 Never use the appliance in rooms in which inflammable materials

are stored or in which gases have formed.

 Never leave the appliance unattended while switched on and

ensure that children do not play with the appliance.

 Special care is to be exercised when cleaning stairs. Ensure that

the appliance is firmly positioned at the bottom of the stairs and
make sure that the hose is not tautened beyond its existing length.

Never place the TWIN in an upright position (liquid
can leak out).

 Change the filters at regular intervals, as specified in your

operating brochure.







 Do not use the TWIN for dry vacuuming, if the dust bag and the

microfilter are not fitted.

 Do not stand on the appliance, and do not overextend or twist the

hose system.

 Caution! This variant is not suitable for vacuuming substances

which constitute a health risk, or for fluids which contain solvents,
such as paint thinner, oil, petrol and caustic fluids.

 Keep head away from nozzles and pipes (when appliance is in

operation), due to danger to eyes and ears, for example.

 Never aim the detergent or steam jet at persons, animals, sockets

or electrical equipment.

 Persons with sensitive skin should avoid direct contact with the

detergent solution. In the event of contact with mucous membranes
(eye, mouth, etc.), rinse immediately with plenty of water.

 After using the appliance in wet/damp mode, empty the tanks.

Keep chemicals (detergents for hard floors and carpeting) out of
the reach of children.

 Correct functioning of the appliance and effective cleaning can

only be guaranteed when the original THOMAS detergents are
used.

 Never pull the lead out of the socket by the cable, but directly at

the plug.

 Ensure that the mains lead is not subjected to heat or chemical

fluids, and that it is not pulled across sharp edges or surfaces.

 Do not use extension cables in damp rooms.
 Before cleaning / filling / emptying / carrying out

maintenance, and in the event of malfunctions, switch
off all the switches and disconnect the mains plug.

 Do not leave the appliance outside, do not subject it to direct

moisture, do not submerge it in liquids and do not store it directly
next to heating units.

 Never repair damage to the THOMAS TWIN, to the accessories,

or to the mains lead (special lead required) yourself, but arrange
to have such repair work carried out by an authorised after-sales
service centre, as changes to the appliance may endanger your
health. Ensure that only original replacement parts and accessories
are used.

 Do not vacuum toner dust! Toners such as those used in printers

and copiers, can be electric conductors! Furthermore, it is possible

that the appliance’s filter system will not completely filter out toner
dust, and in this way it can enter the air supply of the room.

 Dispose of the THOMAS TWIN in accordance with the local

regulations, and cut off the mains plug beforehand.

 The “Information and precautionary measures for

use” in the individual sections of these Instructions
for Use are also to be observed.

 Get the maximum out of your appliance by using it

correctly.

3.0 General preparatory measures

4.0 Dust vacuuming (dry vacuuming)

4.1 Information and precautionary measures for use

 Do not use the TWIN AQUATHERM for dry vacuuming

if the AQUAFILTER system has not been fitted in
accordance with the instructions booklet. Otherwise
the appliance may get damaged.

 Do not vacuum liquids in dry vacuum mode. Read

section 5.3 “Wet vacuuming operation”.

 Read the “Points of safety” under section 1 .2.

 Do not vacuum great quantities of fine dust, e.g.

flour, cocoa powder, cement.

4.2 Dry vacuuming operation

If the appliance has been used before for wet/wash vacu­uming, all the instructions in this section must be follo­wed.

Your TWIN AQUATHERM is set up ex works for dry vacuuming – in this case
read from point D onwards.

H Open the casing cover (1) by lifting the cover release (4).

J Remove the dirty-water container assy. (24) by its carrying strap

and, if necessary, extract the inserted anti-slosh insert (22).

I Insert the HEPA filter (20) into the appliance.

D Insert the AQUA filter assy. (42) behind both guide ledges of

the dirty-water container (24) until it stops. Ensure that the seal
around the AQUA filter (42) is on the inside of the dirty-water
container (24) and that the wet filter (23) has been fitted.

Fill the dirty-water tank (24) with 1 litre of clear water.
Insert the filled dirty-water container (24) into the appliance and

fold the carrying strap to the side.
Ensure that the carrying strap is not covering the casing seal.
Slowly close the casing cover (1) so that the seals and the

connectors on the AQUA filter (42) are not damaged.

C Attach accessories as required to the suction pipe (34) or directly

to the handle (29).

K Connect the mains plug (63).

B Switch on the appliance using the appliance on/off switch (14).

C The suction power can be reduced using the suction power

regulator (supplementary air slide) (29).
Suppl. air slide closed = full suction power,

suppl. air slide open = reduced suction power.
On carpet floors, a half-open supplementary air slide will achieve

the best water filter action and prevent the nozzle from becoming

blocked.

To achieve optimum filter action, we recommend that you rinse the

AQUA filter with clear water and change the water in the dirty­water container every 40-60 minutes of continuous operation or
whenever you see a large pool of water on the underside of the
cover.

After dry vacuuming

For reasons of hygiene, empty and clean the AQUAFILTER
system after each use. Dirty water and moisture on
the appliance parts encourage bacteria and fungi to
multiply.

Switch off the appliance using the main switch (14) and pull out the mains
plug.

H Open the casing cover (1) by lifting the cover release (4).

D Remove the dirty-water container (24) from the appliance by its

carrying strap.

Remove the AQUA filter (42) from the dirty-water container

(24) by its handle and pour away the dirty water (e.g. down the
toilet).

E Remove the foam filter (43). To do this, gently pull the frame (48)

on the AQUA filter (42) upwards and fold it away to the side.

D Clean the wet filter (23) if it is dirty.

Thoroughly wash the AQUA filter (42), the foam filter (43),
the wet filter (23) and the dirty-water container (24) with
clear water, without any cleaning agent.

Ensure that the parts are completely dry before replacing
them in the appliance.

If impurities and fluff have clogged the suction filter (44, illus. E),
this can also be removed for gentle cleaning; afterwards replace
the suction filter in the appliance.

Remove impurities and fluff from the AQUA injection nozzle
(10, illus. H).

Cleaning the HEPA filter

Your TWIN AQUATHERM has a high-quality HEPA filter, which
can be cleaned frequently as required and according to the type
of household dirt. This will ensure that the appliance regains full
suction power.

Cleaning should be carried out depending on the level of usage and the
reduction in suction power (at least every 6 months).

I Remove the HEPA filter (20) from the appliance and knock it on a

firm surface.

If the dirt cannot be removed in this way, the filter can also be

washed with clear water, without any cleaning agent, and then
knocked on a firm surface.

Never use a brush for cleaning. Ensure that the

filter is completely dry before replacing it in the
appliance.

When cleaning the HEPA filter (20), do not damage the
filter wires.

If the suction power of the appliance is not considerably increased by cleaning
the HEPA filter, the filter should be replaced with a new one.

5.0 Spray extraction (wash-vacuuming)/wet vacuuming of hard surfaces, tiles, carpets and upholstery

5.1 Information and safety instructions for use

 Make sure that all items to which you are going to

apply a hot or cold detergent solution are suitable

for this method of cleaning.

 Do not use the cleaner on parquet floors. Moisture could penetrate

the wood and damage the floor.

 Caution! Petrol, thinner, fuel oil etc. may form explosive fumes

or mixtures, if allowed to mix with the suction air flow.

 Acetones, acids and solvents may attack the materials employed

on your appliance. It is quite safe to vacuum water which contains
ordinary household cleaning agents.

 After wet vacuuming or spray extraction operations, clean the

soiled-water tank and all employed accessories and allow to dry.

 Never vacuum liquids or carry out spray extraction

without the soiled-water tank.

 Your THOMAS TWIN is not suitable for extracting large quantities

of liquids from tanks or basins.

Prior to wet-cleaning carpets

 Before wet-cleaning carpets, the entire area to be cleaned is to be

thoroughly vacuumed.

Do not wet-clean delicate, hand-woven or non-

colourfast carpets.

For test purposes, apply a little detergent solution to a white cloth

and rub a concealed area of the carpet with this cloth. If there are
no traces of colour on the cloth, it may be assumed that the carpet
is colourfast. Should colour rub off onto the cloth, the carpet must

not be wet-cleaned.
Should you be unsure, consult a carpet dealer.
If the carpet has been shampooed at an earlier juncture, this may

result in considerable foaming in the soiled-water tank when the

THOMAS TWIN is used for the first time. To prevent further foaming,

pour

/2 a cup of vinegar into the soiled-water container.

Should foam emerge from the air outlet, switch the appliance off

immediately and empty the soiled-water tank.
Strong foaming is no longer possible after cleaning once with

THOMAS ProTex cleaning concentrate, as this agent contains a

special foam inhibitor.
Do not walk on the carpet as long as it remains damp.
The room should be well ventilated during and after cleaning, to

enable swift drying.

 Caution! Never run the pump without liquid.
 Please also observe the "Important information" in

Section 1 .2

The spray extraction system

 The cleaning solution is sprayed deep into the

carpet under pressure

 Dirt is detached and washed out fibre-deep
 Soiled water is extracted at maximum power and carpet

pile restored to upright position.

All in one operation.

Fold the carrying strap away to the side so that it does not cover

the casing seal.

G Ensure that the float (59) in the dirty-water container (24) is kept

clean and in good condition. It automatically interrupts the suction
when the dirty-water container is full.

K Remove the fresh water tank for filling (draw tank straight upwards

and out of the cleaner or fill up directly in the appliance. In this
case you have to lift up fresh water tank cover.

When filling make sure that no impurities get into the fresh water

tankto prevent the dosing valve from not functioning properly.

Fill up with cleaning concentrate and water to the grip lug (max.

2,4 litres).

We recommend the THOMAS ProTex original

concentrated cleaning agent for cleaning carpets.

See label on the cleaning concentrate bottle for application and

dosage.

Use hand warm water (max. 30°C).

Close the flap (5) and replace the fresh-water tank (6).

L Slide the cut-out valve (25) into position on the suction pipe (34).

Secure the cleaning agent hose (26) on the suction hose (28) using
4 plastic fasteners (33).

B Press the detergent hose (26) firmly into the quick-release coupling

(8) until it snaps into place.

To release, press the button on the quick-action coupling (8).

N Take the suitable nozzle and assemble it according to the

illutration

– Carpet-spray-extraction-nozzle (30) incl. hard floor aadaptor

(31) for cleaning of hard floors and tiles

– Carpet-spray-extraction-nozzle (30) for cleaning of carpet

floors

M Put the detergent hose (32) with the quick-release coupling (64) on

the shut-off valve (25) and rotate until it is locked. Afterwards, the
detergent hose (32) fasten the detergent hose to the suction tubes
(34) using the 2 smaller plastic clips (40).

K Pull the mains plug (63) out of the appliance and connect it.

5.2 Set-up wash-vacuuming

General proparation

H Open the casing cover (1) by lifting the cover release (4).

F Put together the 2-part anti-slosh insert (22)

G Lift the AQUA filter (42) out of the dirty-water container (24) by

its handle and insert the anti-slosh insert (22).

I Remove the HEPA filter (20) from the appliance.

Window cleaning

Push the window nozzle adapter on the carpet spray nozzle.
With this system you can clean and dry your window and glass surfaces
at the same time.

Cleaning upholstery

Use the upholstery spray nozzle (38) to clean upholstered furniture,

car seats, etc. Push the nozzle onto the handle (29) and shut­off valve (25). Fasten the detergent hose to the shut-off valve by
rotating the coupling (66).

When cleaning upholstery, be careful not to apply too much

liquid, as a longer drying time may then be necessary, depending
on the supporting structure.

Cleaning procedure

Cold-washing can immediately be started by operating the on-off

B

switch (14) to full suction power and activating spraying pump on
the tip-switch (13). For hot-washing additionally start heating on tip­switch (12). Hot water now escapes on the spray-nozzle.

ATTENTION! Your TWIN AQUATHERM is equipped with an

overpressure safety device during heating operation.

Should this safety device in case of a mistake put into operation

(water drops/steam escapes at the underside of the appliance),
immediately disconnect the appliance and send it to a THOMAS
customer service.

M Press the lever of the shut-off valve (25) until detergent liquid comes

out and then pull the nozzle resting on the floor in straight lengths
across the floor. At the end of a length of floor or during work
interruptions, release the valve lever in order to stop the sprayed
jet of liquid. When the spray-on liquid has been extracted, lift up
the nozzle and start a new length by slightly overlapping onto the
previous length.

Should traces of liquid remain on the cleaned strips, these can be

extracted without spraying the areas concerned again.
Please make sure that the suction force regulator is set to full power.
Spray especially on very dirt spots and allow cleaning detergent

to react for some minutes.
Do not apply too much liquid, as this may cause ripples or bulges

in the carpet, which will disappear only after a prolonged drying

process.
To prevent the liquid in the suction pipe from running out during

breaks in work, you should hold the suction tube and hose at an

upwardly inclined angle for a few seconds while the motor is still

running. Then switch off the appliance.

I If necessary, remove spray water from the suction compartment

(58) with a soft cloth.

5.3 Set-up for wet vacuuming

THOMAS TWIN enables you to vacuum spilled, non-hazardous, water­based liquids (e.g. water, coffee or similar). Select the proper nozzle and
fit it to the suction tube or the handle.

It is recommendable to vacuum a maximum of 3 litres of

liquid and then to empty the soiled-water tank.
See Section 5.2, "Emptying the soiled-water tank".

5.4 Care and maintenance/after wet-cleaning

Disconnect the mains plug.

K Remove and empty fresh-water tank (6).

J Remove soiled-water tank (24) from the appliance by the handle

(61), empty and clean. In case of stubborn dirt, warm soapy water
is recommendable; do not use abrasive detergents or solvents.

Anti-sloshing insert (22) and wet filter (23) can be removed for

cleaning. Replace wet filter (23), if necessary. (Replacements
Part No. 195198).

Please note!
K For proper care of the pump and valves, fill and use

the fresh-water tank (6) with clear water.

B Connect the mains plug and switch on the appliance

with the ON-OFF switch (14) as well as the pump with
switch (13).

M Start the spraying system by holding the nozzle over

a sink (operate the lever on the shut-off valve (25).

Emptying the soiled-water tank

Please note!

To prevent automatic shutdown of the appliance, empty the soiled-water
tank as soon as a complete filling of detergent from the fresh-water tank
has been used up.

B In case of non-compliance with the instruction mentioned above,

Should your appliance unexpectedly fail to function satisfactorily, please check whether the fault is due to one of the minor causes specified below,

 Le THOMAS TWIN est destiné exclusivement à un usage ménager

pour adultes.

 En aucun cas mettre l’appareil en marche si:
– le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé,

– il présente des dégâts manifestes,
– il est éventuellement tombé.

 La tension d’alimentation doit correspondre aux indications données

sur la plaque signalétique. Ne pas le brancher à une prise multiple ni
à un adaptateur.

 Précaution! Danger de brûlure pendant l’opération à

eau chaude.

 Eliminer l’emballage conformément aux prescriptions locales.

 Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil dans des locaux où sont entreposées

matières inflammables ou dans lesquels des gaz se sont formés.

 Ne jamais laisser l’appareil allumé sans surveillance et faire attention

à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

 Une attention particulière est demandée lors du nettoyage de

marches d’escalier. S’assurer que l’appareil repose fixement sur la
surface de l’escalier et veiller à ne pas tendre le flexible au-delà
de sa limite. Ne jamais mettre TWIN en position debout

 Remplacer les filtres à intervalles réguliers comme décrit dans votre

notice d’utilisation.

 Ne pas utiliser TWIN pour l’aspiration à sec si le sac à poussières et

le microfiltre ne sont pas en place.

 Ne pas se placer sur l’appareil ni tendre à l’extrême ou courber le

système de flexible.

 Attention! Ce modèle d’appareil n’est pas conçu pour l’aspiration

de matières nocives ni de détergents solvantés tels que diluants de
peinture, huile, essence et décapants.

 Les buses et tubes ne doivent pas (à l'état de marche) venir à

proximité de la tête; risque de blessure pour les yeux et les oreilles
par exemple.

 Ne jamais diriger le jet de nettoyant ou de vapeur sur des personnes

ou animaux, des prises de courant ou des appareils électriques.

 Les personnes à la peau sensible doivent éviter tout contact direct

avec le nettoyant; en cas de contact avec les muqueuses (yeux,
bouche, etc.) rincer immédiatement et abondamment à l'eau la partie
touchée.

 Après utilisation en mode eau/humide, vidanger la cuve. Les produits

chimiques (nettoyants, etc.) ne doivent pas être mis à la portée des
enfants.

 Les fonctions de l'appareil et l'efficacité du nettoyage ne peuvent être

assurées que si l'on emploie les nettoyants originaux THOMAS.

 Ne jamais retirer la prise en la tirant par le câble, mais uniquement

par le connecteur.

 Veiller à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit exposé ni à la

chaleur ni à des liquides chimiques, et ni tiré par dessus des arêtes
ou surfaces vives.

 Ne pas utiliser de câble de rallonge dans les pièces mouillées.

Avant nettoyage/entretien /remplissage / vidange ainsi
qu'en cas de pannes, éteindre tous les interrupteurs et
retirer la fiche de contact.

 Ne pas entreposer l'appareil en plein air ni l'exposer à l'humidité

ou le plonger dans des liquides; ne pas le conserver non plus à
proximité directe de groupes de chauffage.

 Ne jamais aspirer des poussières de toner, tel que contenues par

exemple dans les cartouches pour imprimantes ou photocopieurs.
De telles poussières peuvent en effet être conductrices d’électricité !
Par ailleurs, il est éventuellement possible que le système de filtration
de l’aspirateur ne puisse pas filtrer intégralement ces poussières de
toner qui sont alors susceptibles d’être à nouveau refoulées dans l’air
ambiant.

2.0 Première prise de connaissance

 Ne jamais chercher à réparer soi-même les dommages occasionnés

au THOMAS TWIN, à ses accessoires ou au cordon d'alimentation
(conduite spéciale indispensable), mais le faire faire uniquement par
un atelier de réparation agréé du service après-vente, car toute
modification de l'appareil est susceptible de nuire à votre santé.
Veiller donc à n’utilisér que des pièces et accessoires d'origine.

 Recycler le THOMAS TWIN conformément aux prescriptions locales

en vigueur et couper préalablement la fiche de contact retirée.

 Observer en outre les "informations et mesures de

précaution à prendre pour l'usage de l'appareil"
données dans les divers chapitres.

4.1 Informations et mesures préventives d’utilisation de
l’appareil

 Ne pas aspirer de liquides lorsque l’appareil

4.2 Mise en service nettoyage à sec

Si l’appareil vient d’être utilisé en mode de nettoyage eau,
veuillez à respecter l’ensemble des instructions ci-dessous.

TWIN AQUATHERM a été équipé en usine de façon à pouvoir aspirer à
sec. Commencez dans ce cas par le point qD .

H Ouvrir le couvercle (1) en soulevant le système de déblocage du

couvercle (4).

J Retirer l’ensemble de la cuve d’eau sale (24) sur la poignée et

retirer l’élément anticlapotis (22).

I Installer le filtre HEPA (20) dans l’appareil.

D Installer l’ensemble du filtre AQUA (42) derrière les deux barres

de guidage de la cuve d’eau sale (24) jusqu’à la butée. Veiller
à ce que le joint entourant le filtre AQUA (42) touche bien la
partie intérieure de la cuve d’eau sale (24) et à ce que le filtre à

eau (23) soit bien monté.
Verser 1 l d’eau claire dans la cuve d’eau sale (24).
Installer la cuve d’eau sale pleine (24) dans l’appareil et basculer

la poignée latéralement.
Veiller à ce que la poignée ne recouvre pas le joint du couvercle.

Fermer lentement le couvercle (1) afin de ne pas endommager les

joints et les raccords du filtre AQUA (42).

C Monter l’accessoire requis sur le tube (34) ou directement sur la

poignée (29).

K Brancher la fiche de courant (63).

B Mettre l’appareil en marche en appuyant sur l’interrupteur

marche/arrêt (14).

C La puissance d’aspiration peut être diminuée par le biais du

système de réglage de la puissance d’aspiration (obturateur

coulissant) (29).

Obturateur coulissant fermé = pleine puissance d’aspiration
Obturateur coulissant ouvert = puissance d’aspiration diminuée.

Un obturateur coulissant ouvert à moitié permet d’obtenir le

meilleur effet possible sur le filtre à eau lors du nettoyage de tapis

et moquettes et permet d’éviter que le bec ne reste ”accroché” à

l’objet qu’il aspire.

Afin d’obtenir la meilleure aspiration possible, nous recommandons

de rincer brièvement le filtre AQUA à l’eau claire après 40 à 60
minutes de service ininterrompu ou lorsqu’une certaine quantité de
gouttes se forme sur la partie intérieure du couvercle et de changer
l’eau de la cuve d’eau sale.

Après le nettoyage à sec

Pour des questions d’hygiène, vider le système AQUAFILTER
après chaque utilisation et le nettoyer. L’eau sale et les
pièces humides favorisent la formation de bactéries et de
champignons.

Retirer le filtre AQUA (42) sur la poignée de la cuve d’eau sale

(24) et déverser l’eau sale (par ex. dans les toilettes).

Bien rincer à l’eau claire le filtre AQUA (42), le filtre
alvéolaire (43), le filtre à eau (23) et la cuve d’eau sale
(24) sans utiliser de détergents.

Laisser les pièces sécher avant de les remettre dans
l’appareil.

Si des saletés ou des peluches ont bouché le filtre d’aspiration (44,
ill. E), ce dernier pourra être enlevé pour pouvoir le nettoyer plus
facilement; remonter ensuite le filtre d’aspiration.
Enlever les saletés et les peluches du bec injecteur AQUA (10, ill. H).

Nettoyage du filtre HEPA

Votre TWIN AQUATHERM dispose d’un filtre HEPA de grande qualité
qui peut être nettoyé à plusieurs reprises si besoin est en fonction de la
poussière afin que l’appareil dispose de sa pleine puissance.

Procéder au nettoyage en fonction de l’utilisation et de la diminution de
la puissance d’aspiration (au plus tard tous les six mois).

I Retirer le filtre HEPA (20) de l’appareil et le poser sur un support

fixe.

Si le filtre est fort encrassé , il peut être rincé à l’eau claire sans

détergent. Dépoussiérer ensuiter en tapotant.

Ne pas utiliser de brosse. Bien laisser sécher avant

de remonter le filtre.

Ne pas endommager les lamelles du filtre HEPA (20) en
le nettoyant.

Si, après le nettoyage du filtre HEPA, la puissance d’aspiration de
l’appareil ne s’est pas nettement améliorée, remplacer l’ancien filtre par
un nouveau.

5.1 Informations et mesures de précention à suivre
pour l'utilisation

Vérifiez préalablement que tout ce que vous voulez nettoxer
à l’eau froide ou chaude se prête à ce genre de traitement.

 Ne nettoyez pas les parquets avec cet appareil (l’eau pénètrerait

dans les interstices et l’endommagerait).

 Attention! Les essences, diluants, fuel domestique, etc. peuvent

produire des gaz explosifs suite au tourbillonnement avec l'air aspiré.

 L'acétone, les acides et solvants sont capables d'attaquer les

matériaux utilisés dans la construction de l'appareil. L'eau de
nettoyage et l'eau sale contenant des nettoyants ménagers usuels
peuvent, par contre, être aspirées sans hésitation.

 Après l'aspiration humide ou le lessivage par pulvérisation,

nettoyer la cuve d'eau sale et tous les éléments utilisés puis les
laisser sécher.

 Ne jamais aspirer de liquides ou lessiver par

pulvérisation sans cuve d'eau sale.

 Votre THOMAS TWIN n'est pas conçu pour aspirer de grandes

quantités de liquide à partir de réservoirs ou bassins.

 Avant chaque nettoyage humide de tapis, aspirer de fond en

comble toute la surface.

Ne pas nettoyer à l'humidité des tapis fins tissés à la

main ou ceux dont les couleurs déteignent.

Pour contrôler, ajouter un peu de nettoyant sur un chiffon blanc et

frotter le tapis à nettoyer à un endroit le moins visible. Si, à la suite
de cela, le chiffon ne présente aucune trace de teinture, on peut
supposer que le tapis a des couleurs résistantes. Autrement, le tapis
ne doit pas être nettoyé à l'humidité.

Si vous avez des doutes à ce propos, adressez-vous à un revendeur

de tapis.

Si le tapis a été shampouiné à une date antérieure, il peut se

produire, lors de la première utilisation du THOMAS TWIN, une
forte formation de mousse dans la cuve d'eau sale. Pour éviter
d’autre formation de mousse, verser une demi tasse de vinaigre
dans la cuve d'eau sale.

Au cas où de la mousse s'échapperait du purgeur d'air, arrêter

immédiatement l'appareil et vidanger la cuve d'eau sale.

L'emploi du concentré de nettoyage THOMAS Pro Tex exclut une

formation excessive de mousse après un nettoyage à fond unique,

étant donné que ce produit est doté d'un stop mousse spécial.
Ne pas marcher sur le tapis tant que celui-ci est humide.
Au cours du nettoyage et à la suite de celui-ci, bien aérer la pièce

pour permettre un séchage rapide.

 Attention! Ne jamais utiliser la pompe sans liquide.
 Observer en outre les "recommandations importantes"

décrites au chapitre 1 .2.

Lors du remplissage veiller à éviter toute introduction de

saletés dans le réservoir, car elles pourraient empêcher le
bon fonctionnement de la soupape de fermeture.

Remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau et du concentré de nettoyage

jusqu’à la languette de la poignée (max. 2,4 litres)

Pour le nettoyage des moquettes/tapis, nous vous recommandons

d’utiliser la solution de nettoyage concentrée THOMAS ProTex.

Utiliser de l’eau tiède (max. 30 °C).

L Glisser la soupape d’arrêt (25) dans le logement sur le tube

(34). Fixer le flexible détergent (26) sur le flexible d’aspiration
(28) à l’aide des 4 clips en plastique (33).

B Enfoncer le flexible à produit de nettoyage (26) dans l’accouplement

rapide (8) jusqu’à ce que celui-ci s’encliquette.

Pour débloquer, appuyer sur la touche du connecteur rapide (8).

N Choisir le suceur selon l’emploi et le monter selon les schémas de

montage

– Suceur injection-extraction pour tapis (30) incl. adaptateur pour

des sols durs (31).

– Suceur injection-extraction pour tapis (30) pour le nettoyage des

moquettes.

M Appliquer le flexible à produit de nettoyage (32) avec

l’accouplement rapide (64) sur la soupape d’arrêt (25) et le
verrouiller en le vissant. Fixer ensuite le flexible à produit de
nettoyage (32) sur le tube d’aspiration (34) avec les 2 plus petits
clips en matière plastique (40).

K Dégager la fiche secteur (63) de l’appareil et le brancher.

Nettoyage de fenêtres

Insérer l’adaptateur pour nettoyage de fenêtre sur la buse pulvérisatrice
de moquettes.
Ce système vous permet de nettoyer et de sécher en une seule opération
vitres et surfaces vitrées.

G Veillez à ce que le flotteur (59) se trouvant dans la cuve

d’eau sale (24) soit toujours propre et accessible. Il interrompt

l’aspiration lorsque la cuve d’eau sale est pleine.

K Retirer le réservoir d’eau propre pour le remplir (tirer vers le haut)

ou le remplir directement, dans ce cas soulever le couvercle.

Nettoyage canapés

Pour le nettoyage de meubles capitonnés, sièges de voiture ou

autres, utiliser la buse à pulvérisation pour canapés (38). L’insérer
sur la poignée (53) et pousser la soupape d’arrêt (25).

Fixer le flexible à produit nettoyant sur la soupape d’arrêt en

tournant l’accouplement (66).

Veiller ici à ne pas répandre trop de liquide, du fait qu'il faut

compter selon le support sur des temps de séchage prolongés.

Commande

Le nettoyage à froid peut commencer directement par actionner

l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (14) à puissance d’aspiration pleine
et par mettre en marche la pompe injection par le commutateur
à bascule (13). Pour travailler à l’eau chaude, veuillez en plus
mettre en marche le chauffage par le commutateur à bascule (12).

Alors d’eau chaude sort du suceur injection.

ATTENTION! Votre TWIN AQUATHERM est équipé d’un

dispositif de sécurité contre la surpression pendant l’operation de
chauffage.

Au cas où ce dispositif de sécurité se mette en marche en

conséquence d’une faute (des gouttes de l’eau/vapeur sortent à
la partie inférieure de l’appareil), débrayez l’appareil immédiate­ment et l’adressez à un service-après-vente de THOMAS.

M Comprimer le levier de la soupape d’arrêt (25) jusqu’à ce que le

nettoyant s’échappe et faire passer le bec appliqué sur le tapis
en ligne droite. Relâcher le levier à soupape pour arrêter le jet
de pulverisation à la fin d’une bande ou lors d’une interruption.
Lorsque le liquide pulverisé a été aspiré, soulever le bec et
commencer une nouvelle bande en la faisant chevaucher sur celle
qui vient d’être nettoyée. Il est ainsi possible de nettoyer toute la
surface bande par bande.

Si des restes de liquides persistent encore sur des bandes nettoyées,

vous pouvez réaspirer ces endroits sans pulvériser une nouvelle fois.

Veiller à ce que la régulation de la force d’aspiration soit à pleine

puissance.

Injectez séparement des endroits très sales et laisser agir le produit

de nettoyage pour quelques minutes.

Veiller à ne pas répandre trop de liquide car sinon il pourrait se

former des cloques ou des plis dans le tapis qui ne disparaissent
qu'après une longue opération de séchage.

Pour éviter un retour du liquide se trouvant dans le tube

d'aspiration à la suite d'une interruption de travail, maintenir le
tube et le flexible d'aspiration en position inclinée vers le haut
pendant quelques secondes, le moteur étant en marche, avant
d'éteindre l'appareil.

Vidange de la cuve d'eau sale

Nota!

Afin d’empêcher une coupure automatique de l’appareil, vidanger la
cuve d’eau sale dès qu’un plein complet de nettoyant de la cuve d’eau
propre a été consommé.

Si la consigne ci-dessus n’est pas observée, le flotteur de la cuve

à eau sale interrompt automatiquement l’aspiration lorsque la
cuve à eau sale est pleine. (Une vitesse nettement plus éievée du
moteur est audible).

Mettre l’appareil hors service par la touche marche-arrêt (14) et

débrancher la fiche de la prise.

J Ouvrir le couvercle du carter puis soulever à l'aide de l'étrier (61)

la cuve d'eau sale (24) de l'appareil et la vidanger. Ensuite, retirer
les dépôts de saletés et de peluches adhérant à la cuve d'eau
sale, au mécanisme anticlapotis (22), au flotteur (59) et au filtre
humide (23), avant de continuer le travail.

I Si nécessaire, essuyer avec un chiffon doux l'eau d'arrosage

restant dans le compartiment d'aspiration (58).

5.3 Mise en service aspiration humide

THOMAS TWIN vous permet d'aspirer des liquides à base d'eau non
nocifs (tels que eau, café, etc.) ayant été déversés. Choisir la buse souhai­tée et l’enficher sur le tube d’aspiration ou la poignée.

Autre procédure, voir chapitre 5.2 jusqu'au point
Il est recommandé d'absorber au maximum 3 litres de

liquide puis de vidanger la cuve d'eau sale.
Voir chapitre 5.2 "Vidange de la cuve d'eau sale".

5.4 Entretien et soin à la suite de nettoyage par voie
humide

Retirer la fiche de contact.

K Enlever la cuve d'eau propre (6) et la vidanger.

J Soulever hors de l'appareil la cuve d'eau sale (24) par l'étrier

(61), la vidanger et la nettoyer. Pour éliminer les saletés
récalcitrantes, il convient d'utiliser de l'eau chaude savonneuse,
mais pas de produits récurants ni de solvants.

Le mécanisme anticlapotis (22) et le filtre humide (23) peuvent être

déposés pour être nettoyés. Renouveler au besoin le filtre humide
(23). (Besoins successifs Art. no. 195198).

Nota!
K Pour l’entretien de la pompe et des soupapes, remplir

la cuve à eau propre (6) d’eau propre et placer.

B Brancher la fiche secteur, mettre l’appareil en marche

avec la touche marche-arrêt (14) et la pompe avec la
touche (13).

M Mettre le système de pulvérisation en service p. ex.

au-dessus d’un évier (actionner le levier sur la soupape
d’arrêt (25)).

B Avant de défaire le flexible à produit nettoyant (26), actionner

tout d’abord le levier de la soupape d’arrêt (25, illustration
pour éliminer la pression se trouvant encore dans le système. Pour
débloquer, appuyer sur la touche du connecteur rapide (8).

Après nettoyage, bien laisser sécher les deux cuves

et tous les organes démontés.

I Vérifier l'état de propreté du filtre de protection du moteur (21)

et, le cas échéant, le nettoyer à l'eau courante, le renouveler au
besoin. (Besoins successifs Art. no. 195197).

Si nécessaire, nettoyer et sécher à l'aide d'un chiffon doux le

compartiment d'aspiration (58) ainsi que l'intérieur du couvercle
du carter.

Pour entretien le carter de l’appareil, utiliser un chiffon doux mouillé.

Ne pas employer de récurants ni de solvants.
Ne vous débarrassez pas des emballages et appareils usagés en les jetant
tout simplement!

8.0 Service après-vente

Demandez à votre négociant quel est le Service après-Vente THOMAS
qui est compétent pour votre personne.

Veuillez lui indiquer en même temps les caractéristiques
de votre THOMAS TWIN telles qu’elles sont portées sur la
plaque signalétique.

Pour maintenir le haut degré de sécurité de l’appareil, vous
devez faire exécuter les réparations, notamment celles sur
des organes électriques, uniquement par des électriciens
qualifiés.

En cas de panne, il convient pour vous de vous adresser
à votre négociant ou directement au Service technique
THOMAS.

9.0 Remèdes en cas de pannes

Dans le cas où contre toute attente le fonctionnement de votre THOMAS TWIN ne serait pas satisfaisant, vérifiez en premier lieu à l'aide du récapitulatif
ci-après s'il s'agit d'une panne importante ou non avant de faire appel au service technique.

1.2 Важные указания

Прошу внимательно ознакомиться с настоящим руководством
по эксплуатации. Это руководство содержит важные указания
для безопасного действия, эксплуатации и техобслуживания
мульти-пылесоса “ТОМЅС ТВИН“. Прошу тщательно сохранять
это руководство по эксплуатации и, в случае продажи, дальше
передать его новому владельцу. При несоблюдении режима
работы завод-изготовитель не возмещает ущерба.



“ТОМЅС ТВИН“ служит для пользования в домашнем уходе без

исключения только для взрослых.



Прибором ни в коем случае не пользоваться если:

–

поврежден кабель для подключения в электросеть,

–

возникли заметные поломки,

–

Ваш прибор нечаянно упал.



Напряжение, указанное на заводской табличке прибора, должно
соответствовать напряжению питающей сети.

к многократной штепсельной розетке - удлинитель или же
переходному адаптерному штепселю.



Осторожно! При работе с горячей водой, можно обжеться.



Упаковку уничтожить только по местному предписанию.



Не пользуйтесь прибором в помещениях, в которых хранятся

огнеопасные материалы или же образуются взрывоопасные газы.



Не оставляйте Ваш прибор без присмотра включенным и уделяйте

внимание тому, чтобы дети с ним не играли.



Особое внимание уделяйте чистке лестничных ступеней.

Осведомитесь о том, что Ваш прибор плотно стоит на полу
ступенек и следите за тем, чтобы шланг не растягивался
длиннее, чем его длина в действительности. Не ставьте

Ваш мульти-пылесос “ТОМЅС ТВИН“ в вертикальное
положение, т. к. возникает опасность выливания жидкости
из бачков.



Менять фильтр в регулярных интервалах, как указано в брошюре

обслуживания.



Не пользуйтесь прибором “ТВИН“ для сухого пылесосения, если

не заложены: мешок для мусора и пыли и микрофильтр.



Не становитесь на пылесос ногами и не напрягайте шланговую

систему за пределы ее длины и не перегибайте шланг.



Внимание! Этот пылесос не предназначен для отсасывания

веществ, опасных для здоровья, а также для веществ,

содержащих растворительные средства, как например: лаковые
растворители, масло, бензин и щелочи.



Форсуночные насадки и трубы не должны при работе пылесоса

приближаться к голове во избежание опасности для глаз и ушей.



Ни в коем случае не направлять струю с очистительными

средствами или паровую струю на людей или животных, на
электрические розетки и электричесике приборы.



Люди с чувствительной кожей должны избегать

контакта с моющими средствами, а в случае контакта этих средств
со слизистой оболочкой (глаз, рта и т. д.) необходимо срочно
промыть их большим количеством воды.



После мокрого/влажного рабочего действия пылесоса опустошить

бачки. Химикалии (моющие средства для твердых поверхностей
и ковровых изделий) не предназначены для детских рук.



Только при пользовании оригинальных очистительно-моющих

средств фирмы “Томас“ может полностью гарантироваться
функция прибора и очистительное действие.



Hи в коем случае штепсель не вытягивать из элетрической

розетки за шнур.



Следите за тем, чтобы шнур пылесоса не лежал на

остроребристых поверхностях, а также на сильной жаре, и чтобы
на него не попадали химические вещества.



Во влажных помещениях не подключать пылесос через

удлинитель.



Перед чисткой пылесоса (уходом), наполнением жидкости или

опустошением, а также при каких-нибудь помехах выключить
все включатели и вытянуть штепсель из электрической сети.



Прибор не хранить под открытым небом и предотвращать от

непосредственной влажности или же немочить прибор полностью
в жидкости, а также не рекомендуется его хранение вблизи
агрегатов отопления.



Никогда не всасывайте рассыпавшийся красящий порошок,
который используется, например, в печатных устройствах и
копировальных приборах, может быть электропродимым! Кроме
того, красящий порошок может не полностью отфильтровываться
системой фильтров пылесоса и таким образом снова попадает в
воздух помещения.



или же на шнуре подключения к электрической сети (нуждается
в особенном шнуре), ни в коем случае не ремонтировать самим,
а только в авторизированных спецмастерских, т. к. изменения
в приборе могут повредить Вашему здоровью. Следите за тем,
чтобы применялись оригинальные запчасти и принадлежности.

2.0 Первое ознакомление



При полном изнашивании пылесоса “ТОМЅС ТВИН“ уничтожьте

его только по местному предписанию и перед этим отрежьте
вилку соединительного шнура.



Кроме того обращайте внимание при пользовании на

отдельно указанные главы под рубрикой “Информации и
правила безопасности при пользовании“.



Правильно пользуйтесь этим ценным прибором в полном его

предназначении.

2.1 Области применения мульти-пылесоса “ТОМЅС ТВИН“

 Горячая влажная уборка полов с твёрдым покрытием и кафеля.

 Обрызгивание и отсос для глубокой очистки и выведения пятен

с ковровых покрытий и мягкой мебели, т.е. мойка и отсос.



Мокрое всасывание - это означает всасывать воду и другие

пролитые жидкости.



4.0 Пылесосить (в сухом состоянии)

4.1. Информация и основные правила безопасности при
эксплуатации прибора

• Не используйте TWIN AQUATHERM при сухой уборке, если
система AQUAFILTER не вмонтирована соответственно
руководства по эксплуатации. аначе прибор может быть
повреждвн.

• При сухой уборке не всасывайте никаких жидкостей. Об
этом прочтите в главе 5.3 “Bсасывании жидкостей”.

• Кроме того, соблюдайте положения, приведвнные в главе

1.2 “мказания по технике безопасности”.

• Не всасывайте большие количества мелкой пыли,
например муку, какао-порошек, цемент.

4.2 Пуск в эксплуатацию при сухой уборке

Если прежде прибор использовался для влажной уборки или
всасывания жидкостей, то следует соблюдать все указания
этой главы.

С завода-изготовителя Ваш пылесос TWIN AQUATHERM подготовлен к
процессу сухой уборки – в этом случае читайте от пункта D.

H Открыть крышку прибора (1), приподняв замки крышки (4).

Вынуть бак грязной воды (24) в комплекте с ручкой для

переноски и при необходимости снять переливную вставку
(22).

I Носадить в прибор НЕРА-фильтр (20).

Посадить до упора AQUA-фильтр в комплекте (42) на

позднее того, когда на нижней стороне крышки собралось
большое количество капель воды, коротко ополоснуть AQUA­фильтр чистой водой и сменить воду в баке грязной воды.

После сухой уборки.

По соображениям гигиены нужно опорожнять и чистить
систему AQUA-фильтра после каждого использования.
Грязная вода и влажные части благоприятствуют
размножению бактерий и грибков.

Зажатием главного выключателя (14) выключить прибор и
отключить его от сети.

H Открыть крышку прибора (1), приподняв замки крышки (4).

D Вынуть за ручку бак грязной воды (24) из прибора.

AQUA-фильтр (42) потянуть за ручку из бака грязной воды

(24) и слить грязную воду (напр., в туалет).

E Вынуть пенопластовый фильтр (43). Для этого следует

слегка потянуть вверх рамку (48) на AQUA-фильтре (42) и
затем откинуть ев на сторону.

D В зависимости от загрязнения почистить мокрый фильтр

(23).

Основательно промыть чистой водой без применения
моющих средств AQUA-фильтр (42), пенопластовый фильтр
(43), мокрый фильтр (23) и бак грязной воды (24).

обязательно просушить.

Если всасывающий фильтр (44, рис. Е) забит грязью и
ворсинками, то его тоже можно снять для лвгкой чистки;
затем его снова надо монтировать на место.

Удалить грязь и ворсинки из AQUA-распылителя (10, рис. H).

Чисмка НЕРА-фильмра.

Ваш пылесос TWIN AQUATHERM имеет высококачественный
НЕРА-фильтр, который при необходимости и в зависимости
от вида пыли в Вашем доме может быть очищен многократно.
щтим прибор достигает своей полной мощности всасывания.

Чистку следует производить в зависимости от использования и при
сниженной силе всасывания (но не реже одного раза в полгода).

I НЕРА-фильтр (20) вынуть из прибора и постучать им по

твврдому предмету.

Если загрязнение сильное, то фильтр можно также промыть

чистой, без применения моющих средств, водой и затем
выбить.

Не пользоваться для чистки щвтками. иеред

монтированием фильтр хорошо просушить.

При чистке НЕРА-фильтра (20) не повредите пластинки
фильтра.

Если после чистки НЕРА-фильтра мощность всасывания прибора
заметно не повышается, то фильтр следует заменить на новый.

5.0 Прыскать и экстрагировать (мыть и пылесосить) / Всасывать в мокром cocтoянии с полов с
твёрдым покрытием и кафеля, а также ковровые покрытия и мягкую мебель.

5.1 Информация и меры предосторожности



Паркетные покрытия нельзя в мокром состоянии

очищать (влажность может попасть и повредить пол).



Удостовертесь в том, что всё, что Вы хотите почистить

влажным способом горячей или холодной водой, и подлежит
соответствующей обработке.



Внимание! Бензин, растворители, дизельное топливо и

образовать взрывоопасные пары и соединения.



Ацетон, кислоты и щелочи могут разрушить в приборе

использованные материалы. Моющая и грязная вода,
растворенная обыденными хозяйственными моющими
средствами, можно всасывать без раздумывания.



После мокрого всасывания и прыскательной экстракции

бачок с грязной водой и все использованные части пылесоса
тщательно прочистить и высушить.

 Ни в коем случае не всасывать жидкости или производить

прыскательную экстракцию без бачка для грязной
жидкости.

 Ваш мульти-пылесос “Томас ТВИН “ не предназначен для того,

чтобы отсасывать большое количество жидкости из больших
ёмкостей или бассейнов.

 Перед каждой чисткой паласов и ковровых покрытий

необходимо пропылесосить всю эту поверхность. Не чистить,

влажной уборкой легкие, ручные работы или же красящие
ковровые изделия.

Для контроля намочите белую тряпку моющим

растворительным средством и потрите ею в незаметном
месте коврового изделия. јсли тряпочка не закрасилась,
значит, можно исходить из того, что ковер покрашен
натуральными красителями. В другом случае - ковровое
изделие не разрешается чистить в мокром состоянии. јсли Вы
сомневаетесь, то обратитесь к специализированному магазину
по продаже ковровых изделий.
јсли Ваше ковровое изделие уже раньше шампонировалось,
то при первой чистке пылесосом “ТОМЅС ТВИН“ может
образоваться в бачке для грязной воды большое количество
пены. Во избежание этого добавьте в бачок 1/2 кружки уксуса.

В случае выхода пены из отверстия для выхода воздуха,

немедленно отключите пылесос и освободите бачок от
загрязненной воды.
Повышенное образование пены после первой тщательной
чистки с очистительным концентратом “ТОМЅС Про-Текс“
исключено, т. к. этот концентрат содержит специальный
состав, который предотвращает пенообразование. Пока
ковровая поверхность еще влажная, не рекомендуется по ней
ходить.

Во время и после чистки необходимо помещение хорошо

проветрить, для того чтобы быстро просохли ковровые и
паласные изделия.

 Внимание! Насос никогда не должен работать без жидкости.

 Просим обратить внимание на указанные под главой 1.2

“Важные указания“.

K Извлечь для наполнения резервуар для чистой воды

(вытаскивать вертикально вверх) или заполнить прямо в
приборе, для чего снять крышку резервуара для чистой
воды.

При наполнении следить за тем, чтобы в резервуар для

чистой воды не попали загрязнения, которые могут
нарушить работу запорного клапана.

Залить концентрат для моющего раствора и воду до язычка

на ручке (не более 2,4 литра).

Для чистки ковров мы рекомендуем концентрат для

приготовления моющего раствора THOMAS ProTex.

Применение и дозировка согласно наклейке на флаконе

концентрата.

Использовать теплую воду (не более 30°C).

L Закрепите регулятор разбрызгивателя (25) с помощыо

фиксатора на трубе всасывания. Затем вставьте рукоятку
в трубу всасывания (34). Прикрепите трубу подачи шампуня
(26) к гибкому шлангу (28) с помощью пластиковых зажимов
(33).

B Шланг для моющих средств (26) сильно вдавливать в

быстродействующую муфту (8), до тех пор, пока тот не
соединится.

Для разЬединения нажать кнопку на быстродействующей
муфте (8).

N Выбрать соответственно применению насадка монтировать

её согласно рисунку.

- Прыскательно-форсуночная насадка для ковров (30)
с адаптером для твёрдых покрытий (31) для очистки ­кафеля и твёрдых покрытий.

- Прыскательно-форсуночная насадка для очистки ковров
(30) с ковровым покрытием.

M Шланг для моющих средств (32) быстродействующей

муфтой (64) надеть на запорный клапан (25) и при помощи
вращения зафиксировать его. После этого вставить шланг
для моющего средства (32) зафиксировать на всасывающих
трубах (34) 2 небольшими пластмассовыми зажимами (40).

K Вытащить из пылесоса вилку соединительного шнура (63) и

включить её в розетку.

Мойка окон

Наденьте адаптер для мойки окон на «широкую» моющую насадку
для чистки ковров.

С помощью данного устройства Вы сможете в ходе одной рабочей
операции мыть и сушить окна и стеклянные поверхности.

Чистка мягкой мебели

Для чистки мягкой мебели или сидений автомобиля и т. п.

O

пользуйтесь прыскательно-форсуночной насадкой для чистки
мягкой мебели (38). Эту насадить на ручку (53) и вентиль
блокировки (25). Вращением муфты (66) закрепить шланг
для средств чистки к вентилю блокировки.

Уделяйте внимание тому, чтобы при чистке мягкой мебели

не так много жидкости наносилось на нее,
т. к. смотря на основание этой мебели, надо рассчитывать и
с повышенным временем ее сушки.

Начать работать

Мытьё холодной водой можно начать моментально, при

этом нужно включить выключатель (14) на режим полного
отсоса, а насос для разбрызгивания моющих средств через
перекидной выключатель (13).

При чистке горячей водой дополнительно включите обогрев

при помощи перекидного выключателя (12). Из прыскательной
насадки поступит тогда горячая вода.

Внимание: Ваш “TWIN AQUATHERM” оснашен при режиме
всасывания предохранителем сверхвысокого давления.
Если этот предохранитель неисправен (выходит вода или
пар из агрегата сбоку из прибора под блоком двигателя)
надо немедленно отключить пылесос и обратиться к Вашему
специализированному магазину.

M Нажать на рычаг запорного клапана (25), пока неначала

выступать моющая жидкость, и вести приложенной
форсуночной насадкой по полу. В конце полосы или для
перерыва отпустить рычаг - струя жидкости прекратится.
После отсоса набрызганной жидкости форсуночную насадку
поднять и начать следующую полосу с небольшим заходом
на предыдущую. Обработать таким образом полосами весь
ковер.

Eсли на очищенных полосах ковра останутся следы

жидкости, ее можно отсосать без повторного обрызгивания.

Сильно загрязнённые места опрыскать специальными

моющими средствами и дать им впитаться.

Следите за тем, чтобы на ковер наносилось не слишком

много жидкости, иначе в ковре могут образовываться волны
или вздутия, которые исчезают только после длительного
высыхания ковра.

Чтобы при перерыве в работе из всасывающей трубы

не вытекала находящаяся в ней жидкость, подержать

секунд при еще работающем двигателе. И только после
этого выключать пылесос.

Опустошить бачок для грязной воды

Указание!

Во избежание автоматического отключения пылесоса следует
опорожнять бачок для грязной воды, когда израсходован весь
объем средства для очистки из бачка для свежей воды.

B При несоблюдении вышестоящего указания поплавок

в бачке для грязной воды автоматически отключает
отсасывание, когда бачок заполнен. Выключить пылесос
выключателем (14) и вынуть штепсель из розетки.

J Откройте крышку корпуса и выберите бачок с грязной

водой (24) за ручку (61) из прибора и опустошите его. Перед
дальнейшей работой пылесоса необходимо очистить бачок
для грязной воды, противобольшеструйную вставку (22),
поплавок (59) и фильтр для мокрой чистки (23) от грубых
загрязнений и ковровых волокон.

I При необходимости капельки воды во всасывающем проходе

(58) вытереть тряпкой.

5.3 Ввод в эксплуатацию “Всасывать в
мокром состоянии“

Пылесосом “ТОМAС ТВИН” можно отсасывать безопасные
жидкости на водной основе, как например: вода, кофе и т. п.

Меры действия см. главу 5.2 до 

Выбрать нужную насадку и надеть ее на всасывающую трубу /
ручку для переноса. Включить пылесос через выключатель (14).

Рекомендуется максимально всасывать 3 литра жидкости и после
этого освободить бачок для грязной воды.

См. главу 5.2 “Опорожнить бачок с грязной водой“.

5.4 Техобслуживание и уход / после мокрой очистки

Вытянуть штепсель из электрической сети.

K Выбрать бачок для чистой воды (6) и опорожнить его.

J Выбрать бачок для грязной воды (24) за ручку (61) из

пылесоса, опустошить его и почистить. При сильных
загрязнениях рекомендуется простая мыльная вода. Не
применять растворительные средства или очистительные
разъедающие средства.

Противобольшеструйная вставка (22), а также фильтр для

мокрой чистки (23) можно для очистки выбрать из пылесоса.
Фильтр для мокрой чистки (23) при потребности можно
заменить. (заказной No. 195198)

Указание!

K Для ухода за насосом и клапанами наполнить бачок для

(6) свежей воды чистой водой и вставить его в пылесос.

B Подключить штепесель в электросеть и включить

пылесос (14 + 13).

M Включить нажатием на кнопку вентиля блокировки

(25) прыскательную систему, держа её, например, над
раковиной.

B Перед снятием шланга для моющей жидкости (26) сначала

нажать на рычаг запорного клапана (25, рис.
остаточного давления в системе.

Для разьединения нажать кнопку на быстродеиствуюш ей

муфте (8).

После чистки бачков и всех разобранных частей - тщательно их
просушить.

I Моторозащитный фильтр (21) проверить на загрязнение,

при наличии загрязнения промыть под краном или же при
необходимости заменить его. (заказной No. 195197)

Всасывающее пространство (58), а также нижнюю часть

корпусной крышки пылесоса при необходимости протереть
мягкой тряпочкой и после этого просушить.

Для ухода за корпусом прибора пользуйтесь мокрой, мягкой
тряпочкой.

Не рекомендуется пользование разъедающими очистительными
средствами или растворителями.

М ) для сброса

6.0 Указания по охране окружающей среды

Не выбрасывайте просто так упаковочный материал и
отслужившие приборы!

Упаковка:

• Упаковочный картон можно сдать в макулатуру.

• Пакет из полиэтилена (PE) сдать в сборный пункт для
переработки.

Утилизация прибора по окончании срока службы

Символ на изделии или на его упаковке указывает,
что оно не подлежит утилизации в качестве бытовых
отходов.
Вместо этого его следует сдать в соответствующий

пункт приемки электронного и электрооборудования для
последующей утилизации.
Соблюдая правила утилизации изделия, Вы поможете
предотвратить причинение окружающей среде и здоровью
людей потенциального ущерба, который возможен, в противном
случае, вследствие неподобающего обращения с подобными
отходами.
За более подробной информацией об утилизации этого изделия
просьба обращаться к местным властям, в службу по вывозу
и утилизации отходов или в магазин, в котором Вы приобрели
изделие.

8.0 Обслуживающие мастерские для потребителей

Спросите у Вашего специализированного магазина, где находится
Ваше обслуживающее бюро потребителей фирмы “ТВИН“.

При этом укажите ему технические данные с таблички Вашего
пылесоса “ТОМАС ТВИН“.

Для поддержки техники безопасности прибора Вы должны

допускать к ремонту, особенно в электропроводящих частях
пылесоса, только специалистов по электрическому делу.

При неисправности Вашего пылесоса обратитесь к Вашему
специализированному магазину или же непосредственно в
обслуживающую мастерскую для потребителей.

9.0 Помощь при возможных неисправностях

При неисправности или же если Ваш мульти-пылесос “ТОМЅС-ТВИН“ не функционирует так, как Вы хотите, просим, прежде, чем вызывать
бюро обслуживания покупателей, попытаться устранить неполадку при помощи следующего списка. Может быть, эта неисправность имеет
маленькую причину.

Образование большого количества водяных – Вероятно, система аквафильтра забита большим количеством пыли.

Оросительное экстрагирование.

 Сила всасывания внезапно уменьшилась. – Переполнен ли бак грязной воды (сработал поплавок)?  Слить воду (см. главу 5.2).

– Не находится ли прибор в вертикальном положении (сработал поплавок)?

 Выходит вода из выдувных – Может, поплавок в бачке для грязной воды загрязнился и не может ходить по его ходу при
